    Studi uji perbandingan suhu tubuh telah dilakukan menggunakan sensor IR MLX90614 dengan termometer standar. Sistem dirancang menggunakan sensor IR MLX90614 dan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 berbasis arduino. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja sensor IR MLX90614 berdasarkan jarak dan membandingkan hasil pengukurannya dengan termometer standar model: AD80. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode perbandingan langsung antara sensor IR MLX90614 dan termometer standar. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode repeatabilty sebanyak 3 kali pada variasi jarak 10 – 60 cm. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada telapak tangan 3 orang dewasa yang berbeda. Berdasarkan data sheet sensor IR MLX90614, sistem memiliki akurasi yang baik jika sistem memiliki nilai error ±0.3oC. Akurasi ini terdapat pada pengujian dengan jarak 10, 20, dan 30 cm dengan rata-rata akurasi yaitu 99.7%, 99.5%, dan 99.7%

    Anthropometric is a method of body mass composition calculation resulting either roughly or directly (detail). BMI is an anthropometric method performed by measuring body weight and height to classify one’s body mass index. BIA is an anthropometric methods used to asses body mass composition, including water mass, musculoskeletal, and mainly body fat mass. The purpose of this study isto find the relationship between the two methods of anthropometry and see the comparasion of body mass composition resulted by the two methods. Study design with descriptive analytics with cross sectional approach, the sampling technique use quota sampling, 41 respondents. Data analysis with analysis of Pearson correlation test (significance level α = 0.05, p – value < α). Results of a normal BMI of 25 respondents (61%), the results of normal BIA 29 respondents (71%) and fat mass between (from 11.00 to 37.30, the average 24.05). obtained a result of a positive relationship between BMI with the composition of body fat (r = 0.708, p <0.000). With it was found that BMI and body fat composition has a significant relationship (p <0.000). It can be cloncuded BMI has strong correlation with body fat mass that were measured by using the BIA method resulted from PSIK student at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. BIA method is no better than BMI method as a parameter to determine body mass composition.Kata Kunci:  Indeks Massa Tubuh, Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, Komposisi Tubuh

    Design and Implementation of Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer based MLX90614 and Ultrasonic Sensors

    Masurement of body temperature is essential to know the condition of the individual’s body. Temperature measurements need to be carried out without contact between individuals and devices or individuals with other individuals to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. In this study, a non-contact thermometer has been designed using an MLX90614 sensor to measure body temperature, and an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to detect objects at 5-30 cm. The sensor reading results will be displayed via the TFT LCD in real-time. If the detected object temperature exceeds 37.5 oC, the buzzer will sound, and the LED will light up. The constructed thermometer is supplied by 12 V DC adapter to provide 5 V output to the microcontroller. Proximity sensor, temperature sensor, and TFT LCD work on 5 V DC voltage. A Resistor and a transistor were needed to turn on the LED and 12 V high decibel buzzer. This instrument has been tested and compared with a commercial thermometer AD801 model for measuring palms and forehead. Based on our study, the difference in palm and forehead temperature readings between the two thermometers in two individuals ranges from 0 to 0.2 oC. This reading error was still within the tolerance of the reading error listed on the MLX90614 sensor datasheet, which is ± 0.3 oC

    When a forest fire or volcanic eruption must be accompanied by the emergence of gases endanger human health. By utilizing SO2 gas sensor and telemetry system,they are effectively used for the benefit of monitoring gas levels affected areas. The method used by a field study in Gedong Songo which is now in an active condition give off gases which are still not detected. Through SO2 gas senso gas levels that can be obtained gas levels is 3.57 ppm. All data obtained from sensors will be transmitted in real time to ground stations via the telemetry system. Results of SO2 gas concentration data transmission will be shown through the android app and then analyzed as a follow up of disaster management
