Patient satisfaction in the emergency department: a case of Sina hospital in Tabriz
Objective: Patient satisfaction is one of the most important indicators for measuring the quality of emergency services and health care. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the patients’ satisfaction in the emergency department (ED) of Sina hospital.
Methods: This descriptive, cross-sectional study was performed during one month in Sina hospital in 2014. Data were collected by a questionnaire which its validity and reliability were confirmed in previous studies. The questionnaire consisted of 2 parts. Part 1 included the demographic characteristics and part 2 encompassed the scales of satisfactory. Data analysis was conducted by SPSS version 15.
Results: Totally, 425 patients participated in this study. The mean age of patients was 41.6±17.6 years. The mean total score of patient satisfaction was 17.43±1.56. The maximum satisfaction was related to the knowledge of physicians and the minimum satisfaction was related to the remaining period in the ED. Additionally, there was a desirable satisfaction for nurses’ performances. In terms of satisfaction regarding the physical environment and the workflow of the ED, the results were moderate. There was a significant statistical difference regarding nurses and physicians behavior in the ED during different working shifts, vacation days, and workdays.
Conclusion: Based on the results obtained, patients had good satisfaction for the received services in the ED. It is necessary to develop physical spaces and improve the workflow of patients in the ED.

Chiral bosonization for non-commutative fields
A model of chiral bosons on a non-commutative field space is constructed and
new generalized bosonization (fermionization) rules for these fields are given.
The conformal structure of the theory is characterized by a level of the
Kac-Moody algebra equal to where is the
non-commutativity parameter and chiral bosons living in a non-commutative
fields space are described by a rational conformal field theory with the
central charge of the Virasoro algebra equal to 1. The non-commutative chiral
bosons are shown to correspond to a free fermion moving with a speed equal to where is the speed of light. Lorentz
invariance remains intact if is rescaled by . The
dispersion relation for bosons and fermions, in this case, is given by .Comment: 16 pages, JHEP style, version published in JHE
生徒が重要とする教師の非言語的行動とその遂行に対する評定
The appropriate teacher's training programs are effective for acquiring instrumental methods which professional teachers need. One of these instrumental methods is nonverbal skills. It is based on the perspectives of the students. Data are required for performing the channels of nonverbal skill training. Therefore, this study examined through exploratory surveys in which student's evaluation investigated two aspects; the recognition of the teacher's nonverbal skill's importance and the teacher's performing nonverbal skills on the basis of developmental stages. The results of this study clarified that the importance of the nonverbal skills of teachers are recognized by the students and the practice of the teacher's nonverbal skill is lacking. On the basis of the results of this study, we considered the importance of developing the training program for the teachers as the next tasks
Developments in Structuring of Reformed Theology:The Synopsis Purioris Theologiae (1625) as Example
The Synopsis Purioris Theologiae (1625), an influential handbook of Reformeddogmatics, began as a cycle of disputations. A comparison of it with the cyclesthat were held previously in Leiden reveals some shifts in the structure of Reformeddogmatics. After introducing the Synopsis, this paper highlights thefunction of prolegomena, the place of predestination, and the relationship betweenthe magistrate and eschatology. It concludes that the choices made in theSynopsis illustrate tensions in Reformed theology. After the conflict with theRemonstrants it became urgent to carefully define the character of theology inthe prolegomena, to relate predestination to the person and work of Christ, andto connect the task of the magistrate to the doctrine of the church
Exploring Takfir, Its Origins and Contemporary Use: The Case of Takfiri Approach in Daesh’s Media
Muslims have been the primary targets of Daesh’s attacks since 2014 in different countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. These attacks were based on its takfiri ideology. As Daesh official media and documents indicate, kufr (unbelief, infidelity) in Daesh’s approach is not limited to non-Muslims (original disbelievers), but Muslims are the most significant parts of kuffar (unbelievers) in its view and defined as incidental disbelievers. Through studying Daesh’s official documents and various Arabic, English, and Persian media productions, in an explanatory research, this article attempts to display Daesh’s takfiri approach toward Muslims and explains its historical and ideological roots, difference with Al-Qaeda’s takfiri approach, different approaches to takfir inside Daesh, main targets of Daesh’s takfir, and the reasons behinds its takfiri view. This article displays that for Daesh, the Muslims are limited only to Sunni Muslims who are accepting and following its approach. Other Sunni and non-Sunni Muslims are thus kuffar. This study also shows that the assertion of takfir has become a method for Daesh to discredit its opponents, such as Shi’a Muslims and other Muslim groups
Cross-national variations in reported discrimination among people treated for major depression worldwide : the ASPEN/INDIGO international study
No study has so far explored differences in discrimination reported by people with major depressive disorder (MDD) across countries and cultures. To (a) compare reported discrimination across different countries, and (b) explore the relative weight of individual and contextual factors in explaining levels of reported discrimination in people with MDD. Cross-sectional multisite international survey (34 countries worldwide) of 1082 people with MDD. Experienced and anticipated discrimination were assessed by the Discrimination and Stigma Scale (DISC). Countries were classified according to their rating on the Human Development Index (HDI). Multilevel negative binomial and Poisson models were used. People living in ‘very high HDI’ countries reported higher discrimination than those in ‘medium/low HDI’ countries. Variation in reported discrimination across countries was only partially explained by individual-level variables. The contribution of country-level variables was significant for anticipated discrimination only. Contextual factors play an important role in anticipated discrimination. Country-specific interventions should be implemented to prevent discrimination towards people with MDD
