Muon g-2 and LHC phenomenology in the Lμ−LτL_\mu-L_\tau gauge symmetric model

In this paper, we consider phenomenology of a model with an $L_\mu-L_\tau$ gauge symmetry. Since the muon couples to the $L_\mu-L_\tau$ gauge boson (called $Z''$ boson), its contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment (muon g-2) can account for the discrepancy between the standard model prediction and the experimental measurements. On the other hand, the $Z''$ boson does not interact with the electron and quarks, and hence there are no strong constraints from collider experiments even if the $Z''$ boson mass is of the order of the electroweak scale. We show an allowed region of a parameter space in the $L_\mu-L_\tau$ symmetric model, taking into account consistency with the electroweak precision measurements as well as the muon g-2. We study the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) phenomenology, and show that the current and future data would probe the interesting parameter space for this model.Comment: 26 pages, 12 figure

Köztes-Európa belső határai – kulturális, gazdasági és geopolitikai szempontok alapján

A cikk célja, hogy a rendkívül összetett köztes-európai régió belső határvonalait és a térségre hatással lévő nagyhatalmak (német, orosz, török, olasz) befolyási zónáit meghatározza. Fő kutatási kérdése, hogy miként lehet Köztes-Európát felosztani a jelenlegi kulturális, gazdasági és geopolitikai tényezők alapján? Ehhez az etnikaiföldrajz, a gazdaságföldrajz és a geopolitika eszköztárát is használja a cikk, amely számos szakirodalmi forrás és sokrétű statisztikai adat elemzése segítségével mutatja be a térség fő kulturális, gazdasági és geopolitikai választóvonalait. Végeredményként e három résztéma segítségével a cikk egy lehetséges felosztását adja Köztes-Európának, öt alrégióra (északi, nyugati, keleti, délkeleti, délnyugati) osztva azt. = The aim of this article is to define the internal boundaries of the complex 'InBetween Europe' region and the influence zones of the neighbouring major powers (German, Russian, Turkish, Italian). Its main research question is: How 'In-Between Europe' can be divided up on the basis of current cultural, economic and geopolitical factors? To do so, this article draws on the tools of ethnic geography, economic geography and geopolitics, using a wide range of literature and statistical data to describe the main internal borders in the region. The result of the article is a possible division of 'In-Between Europe' into five sub-regions (Northern, Western, Eastern, South-Eastern, SouthWestern) using the above mentioned three sub-theme
