PENGARUH BEBAN IKLAN, UKURAN PERUSAHAAN, DAN LEVERAGE TERHADAP AGRESIVITAS PAJAK (STUDI EMPIRIS PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR YANG TEDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2013 – 2015)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh beban
iklan, ukuran perusahaan, dan leverage terhadap agresivitas pajak perusahaan
manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Agresivitas pajak diproksikan
dengan current ETR. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan
manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2013 – 2015. Data
dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan
perusahaan sampel. Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling, jumlah sampel yang
diperoleh sebanyak 140 data sampel. Metode regresi linear berganda digunakan
untuk menganalisis penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian secara empiris menunjukkan
bahwa beban iklan tidak berpengaruh terhadap agresivitas pajak, sedangkan
ukuran perusahaan dan leverage berpengaruh terhadap agresivitas pajak. Oleh
karena itu, perusahaan yang berukuran besar cenderung menjadi perhatian
pemerintah karena melakukan agresivitas pajak, sementara perusahaan yang
memiliki rasio leverage yang besar cenderung untuk menghindari agresivitas
pajak karena mendapat perhatian dari kreditur.

AUTOMATED GRAVIMETRIC MANAGEMENT OF SOLUTIONS .2. AUTOMATED GRAVIMETRIC APPROACH TO DIRECT POTENTIOMETRY AND KAPPA NUMBER DETERMINATION
The high-performance microcomputer controlled gravimetric-burette described in Part 1 has been employed to automate some routine analytical procedures, A direct potentiometric determination of fluoride ions in drinking water was developed to include an automatic calibration step, matrix adjustment and sample determination. Also the complex and cumbersome titrimetric procedure far determination of the kappa number (lignin content) in paper pulp, has been automated by using the gravimetric unit and biamperometry, In this last instance, the,automatic standardization of the solutions employed in the determination and the complete automation of the recommended kappa number determination procedure, allows a significant reduction in the amount of reagent consumed. The gravimetric approach to these procedures reveals that the same performance is achieved in terms of precision and accuracy when compared with classic volumetry while the cost associated with the automation decreases owing to the use of the same unit to attain automatic management of up to three different solutions.120112763276
A snapshot of the Northern Apennines (Italy) seismicity, merging catalogue and new seismic data
In this paper we present the seismicity analysis of a small sector of the Northern Apennines in
27 terms of spatio-temporal distribution, merging data from the Italian seismic bulletin with new
28 data collected by temporal seismic networks. Our attention is focused on the region enclosed
29 between Toscana, Umbria, Marche and Emilia-Romagna. This area is mainly characterized by a
30 diffuse seismicity, partly clustered in small sequences (Mw < 4.7). Improved seismicity locations,
31 together with stress field analysis allows to characterize the manner of seismogenic stress release
32 in the area. Two regions of significantly different seismic release behavior could be
33 distinguished: (i) the inner/western part (Tuscan side) of the study area, where seismicity is
34 clustered at shallow depths (<18 km) and where strong earthquakes occurred in the past, (ii) the
35 outer(eastern) part (Marche side), where the seismicity is diffuse across all of the crustal volume,
36 reaching depths of down to 30 km.
37 Along the Apenninic chain, seismicity is nearly absent inside well defined zones. In our opinion,
38 these peculiarities of seismicity release could be related to the heterogeneity of crustal volume
39 and to the transition between Tyrrhenian and Adriatic domains

An individual’s zinc status has a significant impact on the immune system, and zinc deficiency, as well as supplementation, modulates immune function. To investigate the effects of zinc on different leukocyte subsets, we used microarray technology to analyze and compare the changes in mRNA expression in cell culture models of monocytes (THP-1), T cells (Jurkat), and B cells (Raji), in response to supplementation for 40 h with 50 μM zinc or 2.5 μM of the membrane-permeant zinc chelator TPEN [N,N,N′,N′-tetrakis-(2-pyridyl-methyl)ethylenediamine], respectively. In each cell type, several hundred genes were identified to be zinc sensitive, but only a total of seven genes were commonly regulated in all three cell lines. The majority of those genes were involved in zinc homeostasis, and none in immune function. Nevertheless, further analysis revealed that zinc affects entire functional networks of genes that are related to proinflammatory cytokines and cellular survival. Although the zinc-regulated activities are similar throughout the gene networks, the specific genes that are affected vary significantly between different cell types, a situation that helps to elucidate the disparity of the effects that zinc has on different leukocyte populations
