The following have been established through marketing analyses: 1) the share of the product mix of the given group of medications in pharmacy organizations; 3) the basic target categories of physicians who prescribe medications of this group; 4) basic regimens of treatment used as therapy for acid-dependent diseases of the stomach in the group of patients with gastritis and ulcer disease of the stomach; 5) factors that have an effect on physician prescribing of antacid and anti-ulcer medications for hospital patients and outpatients; 6) preferences and factors that shape the demand of end users for drugs of the given group; and 7) a portrait of the consumer of antacid and anti-ulcer medications.С помощью маркетингового анализа установлены: 1) доля ассортимента данной группы препаратов в аптечных организациях; 2) основные целевые категории врачей, назначающие лекарственные препараты данной группы; 3) основные схемы лечения, применяемые в качестве терапии кислотозависимых заболеваний желудка группы больных с гастритом и язвенной болезнью желудка; 4) факторы, оказывающие влияние на врачебные назначения антацидных и противоязвенных ЛП стационарным и амбулаторным больным; 5) предпочтения и факторы, формирующие спрос конечных потребителей на препараты данной группы; 6) портреты потребителя антацидных и противоязвенных ЛП

This study provides an assessment of antioxidant activity and toxicity of new polyphenolic and quinoid compounds. Antioxidant activity was determined by the DPPH test and toxicity by the MTT test. It was determined that the investigated compounds could be recommended for the development of fuel additives.В статье представлено исследование антиоксидантных свойств и токсичности новых полифенольных и хиноидных соединений.Антиоксидантная активность определялась по ДФПГ тесту,а токсичность - по МТТ-тесту. Elderly consumers' satisfaction with the quality of community pharmacy services in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam: a Q-methodology study

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to understand elderly consumers' satisfaction on the community pharmacy services in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Materials and methods: A sample of 32 consumers, aged over 60, was recruited in four pharmacies in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from December, 2017 to January, 2018. Q-methodology was used to identify the patterns of consumers' satisfaction. Results: Two distinct patterns of elderly consumers' viewpoints toward the community pharmacy services were identified. Elderly consumers in viewpoint 1 were satisfied with the geographic accessibility of community pharmacies. Elderly consumers in viewpoint 2 were satisfied with the affordability of medicines. However, consumers of both viewpoints expressed dissatisfaction with the pharmacy staff counseling on missed doses, storage, side effects, and interactions of medicines. Conclusion: The results from this study suggest that pharmacy staff need to spend more time for consultations on proper medication use with elderly consumers
