    No full text
Asymptotic analysis of the problem of large deviations for random evolutions with independent increments in the circuit of the L´evy approximation is carried out. Large deviations for random evolutions in the circuit of the L´evy approximation are determined by the exponential generator for a jump process with independent increments

The article deals with the experience of organizing theoretical and practical training for intern-doctors, which were studied in the therapeutic dentistry department. Effectiveness of the intern-doctors training is determined by a quality of education at the university, innovative technologies usage and working on the therapeutic basis. Acquisition of skills should be achieved through the independent work with literature sources, self- education, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks solution, participation in educational games, and presentation of reports at the clinical conferences. Such activities provide a high level of professional training for the intern-doctors and determine their readiness to independent professional activity

On random flights with non-uniformly distributed directions

This paper deals with a new class of random flights Xd(t),t>0,\underline{\bf X}_d(t),t>0, defined in the real space Rd,d2,\mathbb{R}^d, d\geq 2, characterized by non-uniform probability distributions on the multidimensional sphere. These random motions differ from similar models appeared in literature which take directions according to the uniform law. The family of angular probability distributions introduced in this paper depends on a parameter ν0\nu\geq 0 which gives the level of drift of the motion. Furthermore, we assume that the number of changes of direction performed by the random flight is fixed. The time lengths between two consecutive changes of orientation have joint probability distribution given by a Dirichlet density function. The analysis of Xd(t),t>0,\underline{\bf X}_d(t),t>0, is not an easy task, because it involves the calculation of integrals which are not always solvable. Therefore, we analyze the random flight Xmd(t),t>0,\underline{\bf X}_m^d(t),t>0, obtained as projection onto the lower spaces Rm,m<d,\mathbb{R}^m,m<d, of the original random motion in Rd\mathbb{R}^d. Then we get the probability distribution of Xmd(t),t>0.\underline{\bf X}_m^d(t),t>0. Although, in its general framework, the analysis of Xd(t),t>0,\underline{\bf X}_d(t),t>0, is very complicated, for some values of ν\nu, we can provide some results on the process. Indeed, for ν=1\nu=1, we obtain the characteristic function of the random flight moving in Rd\mathbb{R}^d. Furthermore, by inverting the characteristic function, we are able to give the analytic form (up to some constants) of the probability distribution of Xd(t),t>0.\underline{\bf X}_d(t),t>0.Comment: 28 pages, 3 figure

In this work, for functions that satisfy a Cauchy problem for hyperparabolic equations, we write integral equations and solve them using the method of successive approximations

THE DIAGNOSTIC MARKERS’ APPLICATION OF THE ORAL LIQUID IN THE EARLY DIAGNOSTICS OF THE DENTAL MOBIDITY IN THE STAFF OF THE STEEL-MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISES’ EMPLOYEES

The dental health of the industrial enterprises’ workers has specific differences from the average indicators of the epidemiological examinations, which is associated with a negative effect on the tissue and oral cavity of the working zone’s atmosphere. Under prolonged exposure of the low concentrations of harmful substances, i.e, due to the chronic intoxication in the oral cavity can occur as a disease of the mucous membrane, as well as the disease of hard tissues of the teeth. Despite the presence of measures on the occupational safety and accident prevention protection, the industrial environment of the enterprises is an extreme condition for workers, which requires the further development of effective comprehensive methods of the prevention and the treatment of the major dental diseases. The aim of the work is to carry out the analysis of the specialized scientific literature for the data generalization about modern looks to the use of biological markers for early diagnostics of dental diseases in workers with harmful working conditions. Materials and methods. We have analyzed and studied the available scientific literature in the last years, which is devoted to the peculiarities of the dental diseases’ spread among the workers of the enterprises with harmful working conditions and the biological markers’ use for their early diagnostics. Up until recently the use of mouthwash in diagnostic aims was complicated, that is explained by the following: a barrier of hematosalivation, low level of determination, complication of exposure, it is studied not enough, the indexes got not always correlate with such in plasma of blood, and also absence of attention to methodology of collection and storage of tests of this material to realization of analysis. These problems were largely removed as a result of careful study of physiology of salivary glands, development of sensible methods of amplification, methodology of separation and treatment of standards. The last achievements in diagnostics were conditioned by new molecular approaches. The development of new therapeutic methods is impossible without the establishment of the diagnostic monitoring system to determine the predictors of the disease, its biological markers, criteria for assessing its course, prediction of the possible outcomes and the effectiveness of the therapeutic measures. Researches are actively conducted the last decades in relation to character of content of markers of bone fabric, oxidative and nitrosative stresses, proteins of endogenous cytoprotection cytoprotection (HSP -, HIF, squirrel Klotho), markers of inflammation in a mouthwash at various stomatological diseases. It is known that 99% of organic molecules, that circulate in plasma, identified in saliva and represent the "regional orientation" of pathobiochemical processes. Conclusions. Thus, the analysis of literary data showed possibility of biological markers, using in Dentistry as minimum aggressive, informing diagnostic method and screening of dental efficiency of treatment. Improving the list of saliva biomarkers depends on their stability and accuracy of detection, including the sensitivity and reproducibility of the analyzes, their simplicity of the execution, high sensitivity and specificity

Cytokine levels in the vaginal secretions of healthy and herpes simplex virus-infected women in different phases of menstrual cycle

    No full text
The role of estrogens in regulating the T-cell immune response and in changing the cytokine profile in biological fluids is well known. The authors monitored the activity of cytokines and interferons in the vaginal swabs of clinically healthy and herpes simplex virus (HSV)-infected women in different phases of the menstrual cycle. Differences were found in cytokine concentrations in the ovulatory and progesterone phases of the cycle. Thus, the HSV-infected women had impaired cytokine balance towards the enhanced activity of proinflammatory interleukins in the ovulatory phase of the cycle and that of anti-inflammatory interleukins in its progesterone phase. This tends to reduce a protective T-cell immune response in the virus-infected women and to maintain chronic virus infection. © 2012
