Konsep dan Aplikasi Public Relations Politik pada Kontestasi Politik di Era Demokrasi (Pemilihan Langsung)

Sistem politik yang semakin demokratis di Indonesiayang ditandai dengan pelaksanaan pemilu legislative, pemilihanpresiden dan pemilukada secara langsung dengan melibatkan seluruhrakyat, telah menyebabkan popularitas seseorang atau partai politikmenjadi hal yang mutlak dalam setiap kontestasi. Membangun citrapositif seorang calon legislative, calon presiden, calon gubernur,bupati dan walikota memerlukan strategi komunikasi politik yangtepat. Salah satu konsep dan praktek komunikasi politik yang akhirakhirini berkembang dalam USAha membangun citra positifmenghadapi kontestasi politik adalah Public Relations Politik.Konsep ini didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa citra positif dapatdibangun dengan komunikasi timbal Balik (two ways trafficcommunication). Perempuan dalam Pengelolaan Surat Kabar di Sulawesi Tengah (Studi Posisi dan Peran Perempuan dalam Media Cetak)

Women's presentation in mass media, especially in printed media,is always in a negative sense. They are living as a decoration and sexualobject. We can say that this is hapening due to the patriarchal culturewhich make people who work in a media is dominated by male and theprocess of media is also dominated by them.The main reason of this research is to answer the question, 1. Howmany women is involved in the process of printed media in CentralSulawesi 2. Can women who involved in printed media influence the policyof media related to gender issue 3. Into which many levels mass mediamanagement gives a tolerance to gender issue.The reslut of this study, which is using gender analysis, is takenfrom three biggest printed media in Sulawesi. It shows that the percentageof women journalist is only 15,27 %. Furthermore, we can see how weakwomen journalist is to influence the news management in these printedmedia due to the portion of the job which most of the women in a printedmedia is positioned in a light section, e.g. Entertainment, Technology andScience, Education and Culture. On top of that, the power of capitalismshapes printed media to have no sensitivity in gender issue. Themanagement gives more concern to gain the profit, or even if they doconcern, they only use gender issue as a tool to gain bigger profit

Identitas Etnik Dalam Komunikasi Politik

Identifikasi identitas etnik yang lazim dilakukan pada masyarakat multietnik senantiasa diarahkanpada situasi dan konteks di mana seseorang berada. Dalam konteks politik, terutama pada lembagaseperti Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD), identifikasi identitas etnik menjadi hal pentingdalam aktifitas politik. Identitas etnik adalah sesuatu yang problematik ketika dihadapkan dengankomunikasi politik, terutama dalam sistem pemilu yang demokratis. Hal tersebut bisa menjadi pembedaatau ko-identifikasi bagi pihak-pihak yang menggunakannya untuk tujuan meraih dukungan politik.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan dramaturgi dan etniksituasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, pengamatandan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa atribut artifisial komunikasi politik anggotaDPRD Palu seperti pakaian yang digunakan, gaya hidup, kendaraan yang dimiliki dan gaya berkomunikasimerupakan bentuk pengelolaan kesan (impression management) dalam panggung politik. Sementarasimbol-simbol identitas etnik yang ditemukan dalam komunikasi politik adalah, klan sebagai identitas,bahasa daerah, logat dan adat istiadat. Beragam simbol tersebut kemudian melahirkan stigma pendatangdan asli sebagai bentuk pembeda dan ko-identifikasi identitas etnik. Istilah pendatang disematkan padaorang yang tidak memiliki ikatan genealogis, perkawinan, tempat lahir dan hubungan erat dengan tokohberetnis Kaili. Etnik pendatang lalu mengkonstruksi identitas baru yang mereka sebut sebagai “orangPalu”. Penggunaan beragam identitas tersebut juga dilakukan sesuai konteks dan waktu yang dianggapdapat memberikan keuntungan politik, penerimaan sosial dan budaya

Cosmological Implications of the Tetron Model of Elementary Particles

Based on a possible solution to the tetron spin problem, a modification of the standard Big Bang scenario is suggested, where the advent of a spacetime manifold is connected to the appearance of tetronic bound states. The metric tensor is constructed from tetron constituents and the reason for cosmic inflation is elucidated. Furthermore, there are natural dark matter candidates in the tetron model. We performed a prospective randomized study of 61 cases of arthrodesis of the first metatarsophalangeal joint in 56 patients. Identification of Passion Fruit Oil Adulteration by Chemometric Analysis of FTIR Spectra

Passion fruit oil is a high-value product with applications in the food and cosmetic sectors. It is frequently diluted with sunflower oil. Sunflower oil is also a potential adulterant as its addition does not notably alter the appearance of the passion fruit oil. In this paper, we show that this is also true for the FTIR spectrum. However, the chemometric analysis of the data changes this situation. Principal component analysis (PCA) enables not only the straightforward discrimination of pure passion fruit oil and adulterated samples but also the unambiguous classification of passion fruit oil products from five different manufacturers. Even small amounts—significantly below 1%—of the adulterant can be detected. Furthermore, partial least-squares regression (PLSR) facilitates the quantification of the amount of sunflower oil added to the passion fruit oil. The results demonstrate that the combination of FTIR spectroscopy and chemometric data analysis is a very powerful tool to analyze passion fruit oil

Further results for the two-loop Lcc vertex in the Landau gauge

In the previous paper hep-th/0604112 we calculated the first of the five planar two-loop diagrams for the Lcc vertex of the general non-Abelian Yang-Mills theory, the vertex which allows us in principle to obtain all other vertices via the Slavnov-Taylor identity. The integrand of this first diagram has a simple Lorentz structure. In this letter we present the result for the second diagram, whose integrand has a complicated Lorentz structure. The calculation is performed in the D-dimensional Euclidean position space. We initially perform one of the two integrations in the position space and then reduce the Lorentz structure to D-dimensional scalar single integrals. Some of the latter are then calculated by the uniqueness method, others by the Gegenbauer polynomial technique. The result is independent of the ultraviolet and the infrared scale. It is expressed in terms of the squares of spacetime intervals between points of the effective fields in the position space -- it includes simple powers of these intervals, as well as logarithms and polylogarithms thereof, with some of the latter appearing within the Davydychev integral J(1,1,1). Concerning the rest of diagrams, we present the result for the contributions correponding to third, fourth and fifth diagrams without giving the details of calculation.
