    This study aims to determine: 1) the socio-economic conditions of the community before the asphalt processing, 2) the socio-economic conditions of the community in the presence of asphalt processing, 3) the presence or absence of the impact of the existence of asphalt processing on the socio-economic conditions in Pana Village, Alla District, Regency Enrekang. This research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis of descriptive statistical data and inferential statistics. The population of this study were 300 people with a sample of 75 that was determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%. The results showed that the socio-economic conditions of the community prior to the asphalt processing were included in the high category and the socio-economic conditions of the community in the presence of asphalt processing were still in the high category. Based on the results of the SPSS analysis it appears that the value of p (sig. (2-tailed)) is 0.100> 0.05 indicating that the presence of asphalt processing does not have a significant impact on the socio-economic conditions of the community in Pana Hamlet. The data in the field also proves that there are several factors that make the existence of asphalt processing not have a significant impact on the socio-economic conditions of the community, such as: labor recruitment is still small due to the asphalt processing location which is still categorized as small industries. being able to work in that location, the community does not have a contribution in the operation of asphalt processing, the existence of asphalt processing only provides an increase in income for its workers rather than the people who do not work in that locatio

    Learning Natural Sciences on environmental pollution material is one of the important topics. Students at the elementary school level have an important role in protecting the environment around them. This research was conducted with the aim of increasing the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of students in science learning in the environmental material. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research with details of 3 cycles. The study was conducted during October 2018 at SDN Jatimulya 02, Bekasi. The number of samples taken was 35 students. The treatment given is by playing case-based learning videos in the classroom. The results showed that there was an increase in HOTS students in science learning using case-based videos. The conclusion is that case-based learning videos can increase HOTS students of SDN Jatimulya 02

    The topic of river pollution is a learning topic that requires Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Environmental problems also combine with other problems, one of them is corruption cases in environmental issues is also of particular concern, so the need to instill anti-corruption values. The purpose of this study was to develop Students Worksheet based on Anti Corruption and Higher Order Thinking Skills (SWACHOTS) in environmental learning. The research method used is Research and development based on Borg & Gall (2003). The study was conducted on 12-18 October 2018 in Elementary School 2 of Jatimulya and Junior High School 1 South Tambun, Bekasi. The results showed that the worksheets developed were valid and suitable for environmental learning for Elementary students and Junior High School students with an average score of 3.47. This is because the presentation of SWACHOTS is simple but full of HOTS and anti-corruption values. The conclusion is that developed worksheets are valid and suitable for use in environmental learning

    Pembelajaran Lingkungan Bagi Siswa: Hubungan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif dengan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah

    Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan pemecahan masalah adalah kemampuan yang harus dimiliki siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi Perubahan lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 4 Bekasi pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel diambil melalui teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 138 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sebesar 0,825. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif memberikan kontribusi sebesar 68% terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa

    In the condition of the COVID-19 disease outbreak, this is something that must be stopped, namely by means of the community having access to clean water to always wash their hands with soap and not forgetting to increase their immunity, it is recommended to consume fruits and vegetables accompanied by physical activity every days, and for this smoking behavior, because smoking causes damage to the function of the lungs and respiratory tract of humans, it makes it increasingly difficult for COVID-19 sufferers to take oxygen or risk shortness of breath which can be fatal. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the general description of the state of public health status based on aspects of implementing Clean and Healthy Behavior in the community to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 in the Depok City Region. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method, namely a study conducted to describe a phenomenon. The data presented in the form of numbers in the form of secondary data collection (Depok Health Profile) and primary data collected using questionnaires from June to August 2021 in the Depok City Community. The population in this study was the entire Depok City Community and the sample in this study was as many as 1,018 people in Depok City. The results of this study showed that 550 (54.02%) informants had family members who smoked, this is a factor affected by Covid-19 in the Depok City Area. The conclusion of this study is that Covid-19 is something that must be stopped, namely smoking behavior, because smokers are one of the sufferers who are very at risk of complications and death from the corona virus

    Predicting Environmental Problem-solving Skills with A Dynamic System in Elementary Education

    Numerous environmental problems drive discussion to solve them. Students require environmental problem-solving skills to solve the existing problems. The study aimed to describe environmental problem-solving skills in Elementary Education. The research method is descriptive using a system dynamics approach. Instrument of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB) used to measure students score in environmental topic. Sample was chosen by simple random sampling. The research used VENSIM software to create the modeling. The research results indicate that the score of the environmental problem-solving skills tends to increase due to the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Pro-Environmental Behavior (PEB). Moreover, there are other influencing factors including learning media and students' activity in their environment. An increase of 5 points in the environmental problem-solving skills every year will be derived if the teachers perform various learning innovations. The research concludes that environmental problem-solving skills in low category and can be improve by various learning innovations
