Pelaksanaan Prinsip First To File dalam Penyelesaian Sengketa Merek Dagang Asing di Pengadilan (Studi Kasus Tentang Gugatan Pencabutan Hak Merek “Toast Box” oleh Breadtalk Pte.ltd No: 02/merek/2011/pn.niaga/medan)
The registration of trademark done by the Directorate General of Intellectual PropertyRights was intended to obtaine legal certainty and legal protection for the right to trademark in accordance with Law No.15/2001. The registration of trademark through constitutive system (First to File) more guarantees the existence of legal certainty for the holder of right to trademark because the one who registered the trademark was given a certificate as a proof of registration and a proof of right to trademark, and at the same time, the registrant is reagarded as the first user of the trademark. The settlement of dispute on Foreign Trademark which is principally or wholly similar to the registered trademark can be carried out based on the civil, criminal and administrative approach. In terms of legal protection, in relation to the existing cases of trademark, legal protection that can be given to the owner of the registered trademark is to file a lawsuit on the cancellation of brand (trademark) considering the constitutive system followed by the Indonesian Law on Brand (Trademark) saying that legal protection is given to the first registrant of trademark. It is expected that the process of trademark registration can be simplified and shortened and the data system and publication of the Directorate General of Intellectual PropertyRights should be improved that the business practitioners will be not in doubt to register their trademarks. To give more legal protection to the holders of foreign trademarks, harmonious cooperation is needed between the government accompanied with adequate regulations of legislation, brand (trademark) inspection apparatuses (the Directorate General of Intellectual PropertyRights), law enforcement officers, community members at large in announcing the information about violation brands and entrepreneurs who will use a particular brand for their products. That, in practice, the First to File registration system can be effectively run and create the alignment of guarantees justice and expediency, because there many brands (trademarks) registered not by their actual owners

Analisis Cluster terhadap Tingkat Pencemaran Udara pada Sektor Industri di Sumatera Selatan
Analisis cluster merupakan suatu teknik yang dipergunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan objek ke dalam kelompok yang relatif homogen. Analisis cluster terbagi atas dua metode, hirarki dan non-hirarki. Penelitian ini dibahas pengelompokan 10 jenis industri yang ada di Sumatera Selatan berdasarkan jenis polutan yang dihasilkan dan mengetahui ciri-ciri setiap kelompok industri. Berdasarkan hasil analisis cluster metode hirarki, ada 3 kelompok industri (cluster). Cluster pertama yaitu industri karet, industri sawit, industri pengalengan ikan, industri listrik, industri pertambangan dan industri semen. Cluster kedua terdiri dari industri migas, industri minyak goreng dan industri makanan. Cluster ketiga yaitu industri pupuk. Pada metode non-hirarki, cluster pertama yaitu industri yang memiliki rata-rata polutan yang lebih besar dari pada cluster kedua, dapat digolongkan menjadi kelompok industri dengan tingkat pencemaran tinggi. Anggotanya adalah industri migas, industri minyak goreng, industri makanan dan industri pupuk. Cluster kedua yaitu industri yang memiliki rata-rata polutan yang lebih kecil dari pada cluster pertama, dapat digolongkan menjadi kelompok industri dengan tingkat pencemaran rendah. DAYA HAMBAT EKSTRAK BUAH JERUK NIPIS TERHADAP BAKTERI Streptococcus mutans PENYEBAB KARIES GIGI
Karies adalah salah satu penyakit gigi dan mulut yang disebabkan olehStreptococcus mutans. Cara preventif yang paling dikenal selain menyikat gigi ialahberkumur, namun beberapa dari kandungan obat kumur juga dapat menimbulkan efeksamping. Bahan herbal seperti pada Jeruk nipis (Citrus Aurantifollia.S) pada penelitianini merupakan solusi alternatif karena mengandung zat antibakteri. Jeruk nipis yangdigunakan adalah jeruk nipis yang segar. Jeruk nipis dibuat ekstrak dengan 5 konsentrasiyaitu 20%,40%,60%, 80% dan 100% serta Aquabides sebagai kontrol negatif danChlorhexidine Gluconate 0,2% sebagai kontrol positif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahuntuk mengetahui apakah ekstrak jeruk nipis (Citrus Aurantifollia.S) mampu menghambatpertumbuhan bakteri Streptococcus mutans dan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi optimaldalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri tersebut. Metode uji bakteri yang digunakanadalah metode Kirby Bauer yang merupakan uji sensitivitas menggunakan teknik discdiffusion dalam media Muller Hinton Agar. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistikmenggunakan uji one way anova untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan yangbermakna kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Post Hoc. Hasil penelitian menunjukkankonsentrasi optimal ekstrak jeruk nipis untuk menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Streptococcus mutans adalah 60%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa ekstrak Jeruk nipis(Citrus Aurantifollia Swingle) memiliki daya hambat terhadap pertumbuhan bakteriStreptococcus mutans secara in vitro. Konsentrasi optimal dari ekstrak jeruk nipis padapenelitian ini adalah 60%, sudah memiliki daya hambat sama dengan chlorexidinegluconate 0,2%.

Strain Selection of Soybean (Glycine max (L)Merril) of F4 Generation on Saline Soil. This researchaims to select the soybeans that can grow well and good production on saline soil of F4 generation.This research was conducted at Tanjung Rejo village,subdistrict of Percut Sei Tuan, Regenecy ofDeli Serdang,the elevation is 1.5m on above sea level,since November 2012 up to January 2013.The analysis used in this research is fingerprint analysis of cross that consist of 1 variety, themethod applied is a F4 generation pedigree selection,the population is sample, number of live plantis 43 of 690. The selected plant is based on the grain production per plant for 30 plants.Based on theresults of research that based on the highest weight of seed per plant is 1.4g on the plant number514.1.8.6 and the lowest production is 0.1g on the plant number 88.5.10.2, 1298.5.3.1, 1298.5.3.30,1298.5.3.40, 1298.5.7.16 and 1298.5.7.25. The components of production that has a direct influenceto the grain production per plant are the number of branch,age of flowering,number of pod andnumber of pods contain. Component of production that giving the highest direct influence is thenumber of pod contain for 8.809
HUBUNGAN ANTARA SOSIAL EKONOMI DENGAN USIA PERTAMA PEMBERIAN MAKANAN PENDAMPING ASI (MP-ASI) PADA BAYI USIA 6-12 BULAN DI PUSKESMAS TUMINTING KOTA MANADO
Pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI (MPA-ASI) perlu memperhatikan ketepatan waktu pemberian, frekuensi, jenis, jumlah bahan makanan, dan cara pembuatannya (Maseko dan Ogawa, 2012). World Health Organization (WHO) merekomendasikan pemberian Makanan Pedamping ASI tepat pada usia 6 bulan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis apakah terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga dengan usia pertama pemberian Makanan Pedamping Air Susu Ibu (MP-ASI) di Puskesmas Tuminting. Penelitian ini bersifat survei analitik dengan desain cross sectional study. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 82 bayi yang berusia 6-12 bulan, tidak sakit, cacat, dan tinggal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tuminting yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data statistik menggunakan Uji Chi-Square dengan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat hubungan antara pendidikan dengan usia pertama pemberian MP-ASI (p=0,000), dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan, pekerjaan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga dengan usia pertama pemberian MP-ASI pada bayi usia 6-12 bulan di Puskesmas Tuminting dengan nilai secara berurut (p=0,718), (p=0,501), dan (p=0,231). Perlu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan ibu mengenai pola pemberian MP-ASI yang baik dan benar.Kata Kunci: Sosial Ekonomi, Pendapatan, Pendidikan, Pekerjaan, Jumlah Anggota Keluarga, MP-ASI, Bayi Usia 6-12 BulanABSTRACTComplementary feeding of the breastfed child needs to pay attention to timeliness of administration, frequency, type and amount of food, and how to make (Maseko and Ogawa, 2012). World Health Organization (WHO) recommends giving complementary food right at the age of 6 months. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a relationship between income, education, occupation, and number of family members with the age of first giving complementary food in Tuminting Public Health Care. This research is an analytic survey with cross sectional design. The samples in this research were 82 infants aged 6-12 months, no pain, disability, and living in Tuminting Public Health Care taken using purposive sampling technique. Statistical data analysis using Chi-Square test with α = 0.05. These results indicate there is a relationship between education and age of first administration of breastfeeding (p = 0.000), and there is no relationship between income, employment, and the number of family members with the first age giving breastfeeding in infants aged 6-12 months in Tuminting Public Health Care with sequential values (p = 0.718), (p = 0.501), and (p = 0.231). Penyakit Layu Fusarium (Fusarium Oxysporum F.sp. Cubense (E.f.smith) Synd. & Hans.) Pada Tanaman Pisang (Musa Spp.) Dan Hubungannya Dengan Keberadaan Nematoda Radopholus Similis Di Lapangan
Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense (E.F.Smith) Synd. & Hans.) (Foc) on banana(Musa spp.) and its related with Radopholus similis in the Field. This research aims to knowrelationships between R. similis with fusarium wilt in the field. This research was conducted byusing survey method. Samples were taken from Kampung Susuk, Pancing and Sari Rejo in Medandistrict. Tanjung Slamat and Sibiru-biru in Deli Serdang district. Marjanji Pisang, Mekarsari andSimpang Raya in Simalungun district. The result showed that the highest disease incident found atSibiru-biru village Deli Serdang districk (64.45%), R.similis populations was 28,7 and the numberof fusarium propaguls was 354. Meanhwile, the lowest disease incident found at Simpang RayaSimalingun district (10%), R.similis populations was 7,4 and the number of fusarium propagulswas 82. Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense has positive corelation with R.similis in fields
