Analisis Profesionalisme Guru dalam Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Daring di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis bagaimana profesionalisme guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey dengan pengembangan pertanyaan berupa pertanyaan terbuka dan tertutup. Adapun partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah lima orang yang merupakan guru di Sekolah Dasar. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan profesionalisme para guru dalam mengajar pada saat pembelajaran daring itu sangat baik, hal ini dapat diketahui dari pengembangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan beberapa inovasi seperti media pembelajaran yang dikemas khusus untuk pembelajaran daring dan alat penilaian yang digunakan juga menyesuaikan dengan keadaan daring yaitu berupa quiziz untuk penilaian pengetahuannya. Sedangkan untuk penilaian sikap dilakukan observasi selama pembelajaran tatap maya dan portofolio untuk penilaian keterampilan. Dalam pembelajaran daring guru juga tetap mempertahankan keprofesionalan mereka dengan tetap menyajikan pembelajaran yang nyaman, menyenangkan, aktif seperti saat pembelajaran di kelas secara tatap muka meskipun sekarang dilaksanakan daring. Beberapa pelatihan sangat amat diperlukan untuk guru sebagai upgrading skill demi tercapainya peningkatan keprofesionalan guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya di saat pandemi.  Sementara untuk hasil belajar siswa yang dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa pada pembelajaran daring sudah baik, namun jika dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran luring masih lebih baik pembelajaran luring

Digital Literacy Competency of Primary School Teacher Education Department Student as the Demands of 21st Century Learning

The 21st century is the era that involves the use of digital devices. Thus, pre-service teachers demand to have many competencies, which in this case is digital literacy competency. There are four digital literacy competencies: digital skills, digital culture, digital ethics, and digital safety. This study employs a qualitative method of research design with a study case. The data were collected by conducting interviews. The analysis in this study was carried out by making a detailed description of the digital literacy competencies of primary school teacher education students and adding a detailed view of the aspects in the research. The participants in this study were 30 primary school teacher education students at a university in Sumedang Regency. The results reveal that mastering digital skills will help daily life work; mastering digital culture will help preserve culture and protect creation; mastering digital ethics will avoid many conflicts; and mastering digital safety can be aware of many crimes in the digital world. Students as prospective teachers are expected to know, and understand and master digital literacy for future teaching

DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID-BASED PETA (PENJELAJAHAN MATEMATIKA) LEARNING MEDIA ON SPEED LEARNING MATERIALS AT A FIFTH-GRADE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

This paper describes the developmental process of PETA (Penjelajahan Matematika) learning media based on the Android application on speed learning materials at a fifth-grade elementary school, determines the feasibility of the application through the validation process of experts, and finds out the compatibility of applications in several devices with different Android versions. The research uses a research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results of the research are (1) the development of the PETA application is relevant to the needs of the mathematics learning process on speed learning material at class V SD, (2) the design of the PETA application is adopted from the concept of exploring games with various forms of presentation, (3) the PETA application design that has been made is developed into file.apk., (4) the PETA application has the feasibility of the content in the very feasible category with a percentage of 97%, the feasibility of the media in the very feasible category with a percentage of 92.75%, and already fulfilled the standard of portability on adaptability and installability aspects with a testing percentage of 100%, and (5) the final product of the PETA application is developed based on the evaluation results at the testing stage of functional suitability and portability by making minor improvements to the instruction aspects of the use and the additional menu of an "additional information" to make it easier for users to get information about latest updates of the PETA application

Moral Education (2010-2019): A Bibliometric Study (Part 1)

Recently, moral education has developed into a popular theme of study in various countries. Mapping of moral education research that includes publication trends, the most cited articles, the most contributing journals and publishers, and the terms in the author keywords needs to be done to provide direction for future research. This article aims at identifying and analyzing moral education studies that have been published in reputable international journals in the 2010-2019 timeframe through bibliometric studies. This study employed a systematic and structured mind-mapping method, which includes four stages: (1) searching articles through the Publish or Perish applications from the Scopus database; (2) filtering articles to be included in bibliometric analysis; (3) checking and completing the article metadata; and (4) conducting bibliometric analysis through VOSviewer application. Four findings are yielded from the analysis: (1) yearly moral education publication trends. The analysis showed an increasing publication trend at the end of 2019; (2) the most cited article. Most citations occurred in moral education articles in the scope of business with 56 number of citations; (3) journals and publishers that published the most moral education articles. The most contributing journal is the Journal of Moral Education, and the most contributing publisher is Routledge or Taylor and Francis; and (4) the most widely used author keywords in moral education articles. The keyword term that is most widely used by authors is 'moral education'. This study concluded that publications in moral education have increased, but the citation is still in a decreasing pattern. Therefore, making a top-cited article becomes an opportunity for future research

Flipped Classroom Educational Model (2010-2019): A Bibliometric Study

Nowadays, teaching and learning activity employing the flipped classroom model has an important position in the process of providing education. This research aimed at identifying and analyzing articles examining the flipped classroom model that has been published in several reputable international journals issued in the 2010-2019 timeframe, which was conducted using bibliometric studies. The research was conducted using a 4-stages systematic mapping method: (1) searching for articles using the Publish or Perish application in the Scopus database, (2) classifying the articles for the bibliometric analysis, (3) checking and completing the metadata of those articles, and (4) conducting bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer application. The bibliometric analysis produced seven findings, as follows: (1) the trend of flipped classroom publications continued to increase from 2013-2019; (2) the ten most contributive journals has published 88 articles by 2019; (3) the ten most cited articles has produced 1,155 citations; (4) the three highest order of author keywords most widely used in flipped classroom articles were flipped classroom, active learning, and blended learning; (5) author collaboration with strong links only occurred in 21 authors through one document; (6) institutional collaboration with strong links formed through 28 collaborating institutions; and (7) state statistics were formed into three clusters and spread across various countries through contributions from authors who were in charge of 456 institutions. The flipped classroom model can be concluded as an educational model that is currently popular among researchers

Development of a Training Curriculum Structure to Improve ICT Competencies of Teachers in Primary Schools

Possessing ICT skills for learning was a necessity for primary schools teachers in accordance with the requirements of current development and Education 4.0. This multi-year research had entered its third year in which it sought to discover information about the types of ICT training materials that were appropriate for the needs of teachers in primary schools and development of effectiveness of an ICT training curriculum structure. This research employed a descriptive survey design. The sample included 30 teachers in primary schools from 12 regions with different school characters in Sumedang Regency, West Java. The findings of this research showed an overview of a gap between teachers who had capabilities in utilizing ICT and teachers who needed to develop their capabilities in utilizing ICT through a practice. In attempting to mediate this gap, this research designed an ICT training curriculum structure that was appropriate for the needs of teachers in primary schools

Analisis Kesiapan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Menjadi Guru Sekolah Dasar yang Kompeten

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompotensi mahasiswa PGSD untuk menjadi guru sekolah dasar yang kompoten. Penelitian ini secara khusus mengidentifikasi kesiapan dan kompotensi mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar sebelum bergabung dengan angkatan kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara yang distribusikan melalui google form berbentuk angket yang dikumpulkan dari 25 mahasiswa PGSD semester tujuh yang berasal dari salah satu perguruan tinggi terbesar di Jawa Barat. Hasil pengumpulan dan analisis data dibuat menjadi beberapa tema yaitu: 1) pengetahuan sebagai dasar untuk menjadi guru kompeten, 2) cerminan kepribadian calon guru sekolah dasar, 3) perilaku sebagai tolak ukur kesiapan menjadi seorang guru SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa PGSD sudah siap menjadi guru sekolah dasar dilihat dari jawaban yang diberikan atas dasar teori yang telah didapatkan selama kuliah namun untuk kualifikasi kompeten atau tidak kompeten dibutuhkan pengalaman dan jam terbang mengajar yang tidak singkat

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN DARING TERHADAP KESEHATAN MENTAL PESERTA DIDIK DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Pada situasi pandemi Covid-19 seperti ini, proses belajar mengajar diselenggarakan secara online tentu memiliki berbagai dampak. Banyak sekali kendala yang timbul akibat dari diberlakukannya pembelajaran daring. Salah satunya yaitu, ketidaksiapan guru dan peserta didiknya dilihat dari segi psikologisnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pemerolehan data dilaksanakan dengan cara mengirim pertanyaan dalam bentuk kuisioner secara online. Sampel dari penelitian ini, yaitu 1 orang guru dan 39 orang peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar yang ada di Jawa Barat. Lokasi dari penelitian ini sebagian besar berada di daerah Bandung, Jawa Barat. Hasil dari pengumpulan informasi tersebut memberikan representasi mengenai pengaruh pembelajaran daring terhadap kesehatan mental peserta didik di masa pandemi Covid-19. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dari sudut pandang guru memaparkan bahwa pembelajaran daring ini di sisi lain bisa mengefektifkan dan mengefisiensikan proses belajar mengajar dengan menggunakan berbagai media yang sudah disediakan oleh pihak sekolah maupun dari pihak guru itu sendiri. Namun dari sudut pandang peserta didik, tidak semua dari mereka bisa menerima dengan lapang dada arahan dan bimbingan dari gurunya. Sebagian kecil peserta didik merasa tertekan akan adanya tugas yang diberikan pada setiap pertemuan pembelajaran daring.
