A Review of Information Security from Consumer’s Perspective Especially in Online Transactions

In the current internet technology, most of the transactions to banking system are effective through online transaction. Predominantly all these e-transactions are done through e-commerce web sites with the help of credit/debit cards, net banking and lot of other payable apps. So, every online transaction is prone to vulnerable attacks by the fraudulent websites and intruders in the network. As there are many security measures incorporated against security vulnerabilities, network thieves are smart enough to retrieve the passwords and break other security mechanisms. At present situation of digital world, we need to design a secured online transaction system for banking using multilevel encryption of blowfish and AES algorithms incorporated with dual OTP technique. The performance of the proposed methodology is analyzed with respect to number of bytes encrypted per unit time and we conclude that the multilevel encryption provides better security system with faster encryption standards than the ones that are currently in use

A consumer perspective e-commerce websites evaluation model

Existing website evaluation methods have some weaknesses such as neglecting consumer criteria in their evaluation, being unable to deal with qualitative criteria, and involving complex weight and score calculations. This research aims to develop a hybrid consumer-oriented e-commerce website evaluation model based on the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and the Hardmard Method (HM). Four phases were involved in developing the model: requirements identification, empirical study, model construction, and model confirmation. Requirements identification and empirical study were to identify critical web-design criteria and gather online consumers' preferences. Data, collected from 152 Malaysian consumers using online questionnaires, were used to identify critical e-commerce website features and scale of importance. The new evaluation model comprised of three components. First, the consumer evaluation criteria that consist of the important principles considered by consumers; second, the evaluation mechanisms that integrate FAHP and HM consisting of mathematical expressions that handle subjective judgments, new formulas to calculate the weight and score for each criterion; and third, the evaluation procedures consisting of activities that comprise of goal establishment, document preparation, and identification of website performance. The model was examined by six experts and applied to four case studies. The results show that the new model is practical, and appropriate to evaluate e-commerce websites from consumers' perspectives, and is able to calculate weights and scores for qualitative criteria in a simple way. In addition, it is able to assist decision-makers to make decisions in a measured objective way. The model also contributes new knowledge to the software evaluation fiel

Brahman cow (Bos indicus) is superior beef cattle and maintained by the wider community to meet the needs of meat in Indonesia. An effective way to accelerate breeding of Brahman cattle is using Artificial Insemination (IB). Purpose of the study to find out whether egg yolk thinner can maintain the spermatozoa motility of Brahman beef semen before it is frozen. This research was conducted at the center for Artificial Insemination (BBIB) Singosari Malang. This study used an experimental method from fresh spermatozoa samples from Brahman cattle. Spermatozoa motility analysis was calculated based on the average percentage after being given egg yolk tris at each test. Spermatozoa material uses fresh semen with differences in individual motility in the age of cattle 3 years, 4th and 5 years. The results of the study showed the mean spermatozoa motility of Bizzyard cow aged 3 years before freezing X ̅_1 = 57.8%, Ken Marcus aged 5 years X ̅_2 = 57.2% and Texan aged 4 years X ̅_3 = 57.4%. The mean value of spermatozoa motility decreases in proportion to the increase in the volume of the egg yolk thinner. Further research is needed regarding the role of egg yolk tris and its volume ratio to spermatozoa motility after freezing or post thawing.

Computer Simulation and the Practice of Oral Medicine and Radiology

The practice of Oral Medicine and Radiology has long been considered an art form. Collecting and collimating the enormous amount of information each patient brings has always tested the best of our abilities as diagnosticians. However, as the tide of smartphones, cheaper data access, and automation rises, it threatens to wash away all that we have held sacrosanct about conventional clinical practices. In this tussle between what is traditional and what is tantalizing, it is time to question, as diagnosticians, how much can we accede to the invasion of algorithms. How does computer simulation affect the practice of diagnosis in the field of Oral Medicine and Radiology
