FACTORS THAT PREVENT COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN SUPPORTING COMMUNITY-BASED ENTERPRISES

    Get PDF
Community-based entrepreneurship is a type of entrepreneurship that is being focused on today. This type of entrepreneurship is based on the need for community participation in any development process of enterprises. Through getting community support, community-based enterprises can thrive at their best. In addition, community-based enterprises and the community contribute to solving the community's problems and developing economic benefits for both. This study aims to identify the factors that prevent community participation in supporting community-based enterprises in the specific case here of the Vietnamese community in Romania. In this study, fifteen members of the Vietnamese community in Romania were interviewed through a semi-structured questionnaire. The analysis results show that the barriers of geographical distance, time constraints, financial barriers, the barrier of awareness and psychological, and the lack of knowledge play a role in preventing community participation in supporting Vietnamese community-based enterprises in Romania. This study contributes to the theoretical contribution related to the factors influencing community participation for stimulating the entrepreneurship of community-based enterprises. Through this article, stakeholders such as the community, enterprises, and local managers will have solutions to improve the support and ability of communities to help community-based enterprises

Evaluation of an Enhancement PMOS Operational Amplifier

An all enhancement PMOS op amp was designed and fabricated using the RIT standard PMOS process. The mask contained diagnostic components (resistors, discrete transistors and van der Pauw resistors), discrete stages of the op amp circuit, and a complete op amp circuit. Non-working op amp circuits were found due to parasitic loses. Circuit simulation using SPICE was performed. It was shown that inverter with~ the gain higher than 25 is not possible and the transistor load as a current source degraded the stage performances

    BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF INDIGENOUS ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Today, indigenous peoples play an essential role in local development, maintaining communities, and promoting heritage sites. In particular, indigenous entrepreneurship has long been the focus of a range of initiatives, efforts, and programs at the local and national levels in the context of globalization. These programs aim to support and develop the whole locality. Bibliometric analysis was performed in this paper to obtain a structural overview and assist researchers in better understanding the characteristics of indigenous entrepreneurship research. By using the bibliographic analysis software VOSviewer, 225 indigenous entrepreneurship documents were analyzed from Scopus's database collection in publications from 1973 to 2021. These publications are used in the analysis of the article. In more detail, comprehensive overviews of the field related to indigenous entrepreneurship, such as the production of publications over time, subject areas of researchers, most influential countries, and research directions through keywords. The paper's research findings have provided a valuable and significant reference for researchers and practitioners in the research communities related to indigenous entrepreneurship

Experimental Investigation of the Muzzle Blast for the Amphibious Rifles when Shooting Underwater

    Get PDF
Designed for amphibious combat forces, the amphibious rifle is a revolutionary new kind of weapon. This firearm's design and the determination of the effect of shooting on the shooter are both dependent on the development of the underwater muzzle blast. In this work, an experiment to evaluate the muzzle blast overpressure and gas bubble characteristics of an amphibious rifle when shooting underwater is performed in order to better understand the weapon's capabilities. This inquiry is focused on the 5.56 mm amphibious rifle with 5.56x45 mm underwater ammunition. The results of the experiments indicated that the Rayleigh-Plesset equation may be used to describe and predict the size of gas bubbles. The experimental data may be utilized to compute the law of change of overpressure based on the experimental results. Also, it is a very important base for studying, designing, making, and mastering weapon technology, which are all very important steps in the development of weapon technolog

Factors Influencing the Auditor Independence and Affects to Audit Quality of Supreme Audit Institution of Vietnam

Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore the factors affect to auditor independence, and impacts auditor independence to audit quality of Supreme Audit Institution (SAI).   Theoretical framework: This study explores factors affecting the auditor independence in public sector based on articles pertaining to public sector audits that were published in major publications in the 20th century. The theories were applied in order to build up research model about factors influencing the auditor independence and affects to SAI’s audit quality.   Design/methodology/approach: Research using complex techniques to analyze complex relationships in the SEM model. This result tests research model in Vietnam from the perspective of the state auditors’ perception with 225 valid responses.   Findings: The result found out three primary factors that affect the independence of public-sector auditors: political hegemony, auditor tenure and relationships with auditees. These factors have negative impact on state auditor’s independence, meanwhile auditor independence has a positive impact on SAI’s audit quality.   Research, Practical & Social implications: The study contributes to existing literature by providing empirical evidence for there is no suitable audit quality measurement framework for SAIs.   Originality/value: The results highlight strong importance of the auditor independence so that SAI Vietnam can have effective solutions to protect independence of state auditor from threats and improve the audit quality of SAI

Graptolites from Silurian (Llandovery Series) sedimentary deposits attributed to a forearc setting, Co To Formation, Co To archipelago, northeast Vietnam

    Get PDF
Newly collected graptolites from the Co To Formation, Co To archipelago, NE Vietnam, comprise assemblages indicative of two biostratigraphical levels within the lower Silurian, Llandovery Series, Telychian Stage: the co-occurrence of Spirograptus turriculatus and Torquigraptus proteus? suggests an interval most likely within the upper part of the Spirograptus turriculatus Biozone or 'Monograptus' crispus Biozone, whilst Oktavites spirally and Monoclimacis cf. suhgeinitzi identify the Oktavites spiralis Biozone. The graptolites provide important biostratigraphical evidence for the age of the upper part of the lower Co To Formation, biostratigraphical ties between the NE Vietnamese succession of the Bac Bo Region and graptolite assemblages of the Long Dai Formation in the Viet-Lao Region of central Vietnam, and include the new species Monograptus hanutlus sp. nov. co-occurring with S. turriculatus, which is perhaps an ancestral form to the later Telychian species Monograptus drepanoformis. We also report the lirst chitinozoans, including Belonechitina, from the Co To Formation
