    Antecedents and Consequences of User Co-Production in Information System Development Projects

    A significant number of information system development (ISD) projects fail to achieve their predefined goals on time and/or within budget. Many organizations recognize that users can engage in projects to minimize the difficulties in effectively controlling the project and maximize the value created; therefore, user co-production is a crucial for organizations to enhance the effectiveness of ISD project. This study attempts to understand the antecedents and consequences of user co-production in ISD project. As a key contribution, we posit that user co-production is influenced by social capitals between users and developers. We then postulate that user co-production determines the project outcomes, which are shaped by system quality, user satisfaction and project performance. Data were gathered from a questionnaire survey of 103 pairs of user representatives and developers. Our results show that project outcomes are significantly influenced by user co-production. Furthermore, social capitals between user representatives and developers have positively significant influence on user co-production

    Past research has proven that employee experience has a positive impact on employee engagement. Based on the conceptual framework of Job Demands-Resources model (JD-R) model, this study regards efficient employee experience as a job resource to explore the impact of "employee experience" and” job demands” on employee engagement in organizations. Work requirements are further divided into challenge demand and hindrance demand. This study adopts the experimental design of the scenario method and uses two two-factor independent sample designs, namely 2x2(employee experience is high / employee experience is low x challenging job demands is high / challenging job demands is low) and 2x2(employee experience is high / employee experience is low x hindering job demands is high / hindering job demands is low).A total of 176 valid questionnaires were collected. The research results found that when employee experience is high, employee engagement is higher than when employee experience is low. Employee experience and job demands have an interactive effect on employee engagement. When employee experience is high, employee engagement will be higher when challenging job demands are added than when hindering job demands are added. It is expected that the results of this study can help in theoretical and practical application

    Plyometric training is one of very prevailing training methods. It has its unique effect compared to other training methods. Having targeted 16 girl basketball players in senior high school, a set of box horse curriculum was designed with polymetric training for the study. The players were randomly divided into experimental groups (respectively with 30, 40, and 50 cm of box horse) and control group, four players for each group. Except for the control group, the other three groups had to receive 12 weeks of box horse training in addition to general basketball course training.     Total Parenteral Nutrition Treatment in a Diabetic Pregnant Woman Complicated with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, Malnutrition, and Intrauterine Growth Restriction

    SummaryObjectiveWe report a case of a pregnant woman with diabetes, complicated with hyperemesis gravidarum, malnutrition, and intrauterine growth restriction, who was treated beneficially with total parenteral nutrition.Case ReportA 26-year-old diabetic nullipara complained of severe nausea and vomiting from early in her pregnancy. Malnutrition developed at about 24 weeks of gestation. In spite of treatment with antiemetics, antihistamine, and vitamin B6, the symptoms persisted, and intrauterine growth restriction eventually developed. Total parenteral nutrition was commenced at 29 weeks of gestation. She delivered a healthy female neonate with a birth body weight of 2,120 g at 36 weeks of gestation by cesarean section. Total parenteral nutrition was gradually tapered off 1 week later, and the mother was discharged from hospital in good condition 10 days after delivery.ConclusionTotal parenteral nutrition may be used to treat diabetic patients with hyperemesis gravidarum who develop malnutrition causing intrauterine growth restriction

    EFFECT OF SHORT MEDIALSIDE STUDS OM FOOT BIOMECHANICS IN COLLEGIATE SOCCER PLAYERS

    The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of modified stud on ankle and foot kinematics, ground reaction force and forefoot force and pressure during sidestep cut (SC) and change direction (CD) movement 6 male collegiate soccer players wore original and medial-side 2mm cut stud shoes and performed SC and CD on the artificial grass. Non-parametric Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to compare difference between the original and modified studs. The modified stud of non-dominant leg show less inversion than the original stud in SC and CD. The modified stud of non-dominant leg show more force peak form and pressure and that of nondominant legs show more pressure an the original stud during SC and CD. The short medial-side studs with 2mm length can decrease the force inversion of the nondmiiant leg during SC and CD movement and increase the force production of the lower extremities in recreational soccer players

    Makalah ini membahas aspek-aspek “kesederhanaan” (simplicity) sebagai konsep desain bangunan masjid secara berkelanjutan (sustainable) sesuai konteks dengan mengambil studi kasus masjid kawasan Al-Irsyad Satya Kota Baru Parahyangan, Bandung. Masjid sebagai subyek arsitektur dan pusat ibadah menjadi ruang publik yang didesain dari elemen-elemen yang secara ideal mengandung nilai-nilai Islam dan bertujuan mendukung fungsinya. Desain masjid berkonsep simple atau “sederhana” digunakan sebagai alternatif kontemporer untuk mengoptimalisasi fungsi tersebut, meliputi struktur bangunan hingga biaya pemeliharaan (maintenance) sesuai prinsip keberlanjutan. Keterkaitan erat bangunan masjid dengan aktivitas masyarakat berpotensi melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan pengelola dalam menerapkan program sustainabilitas sesuai konteks lingkungannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbasis pendekatan Grounded Theory secara kualitatif melalui pengumpulan data dari kegiatan observasi, interview dan analisis program keberlanjutan kawasan.     Efficient Detection of Preparing Quantum Remote States Using Coherence Quantum Benefits

    A sender can prepare a quantum state for a remote receiver using preshared entangled pairs, only the sender's single-qubit measurement, and the receiver's simple correction informed by the sender. It provides resource-efficient advantages over quantum teleportation for quantum information. Here, we propose the most efficient approach to detect the remote state preparation (RSP) based on the quantum benefits powered by quantum coherence's static resources of the shared pairs and the dynamic resources both the RSP participants input. It requires only the receiver's minimum of one additional coherence creation operation to verify RSP. Experimentally, we implement the introduced RSP assessment using different photon pair states generated from a high-quality polarization Sagnac interferometer, confirming the necessary and sufficient role played by the static and dynamic quantum coherence resources and demonstrating efficient RSP verification. Our results provide a route to efficiently assess RSP in practical scenarios such as quantum information in quantum networks
