    In the medical treatment with a strong subjective, experienced element, the flow of informationization is rapid in the maturation process of the society. In the environment the technology of the information infrastructure, security, and the information exchange, information literacy, and the legislation etc. are maintained. EMR (Electronic Medical Record) with the function which becomes the center begins to spread, and the introduction in the clinic and the hospital is accelerating.     Bounding Box Annotation with Visible Status

    Training deep-learning-based vision systems requires the manual annotation of a significant amount of data to optimize several parameters of the deep convolutional neural networks. Such manual annotation is highly time-consuming and labor-intensive. To reduce this burden, a previous study presented a fully automated annotation approach that does not require any manual intervention. The proposed method associates a visual marker with an object and captures it in the same image. However, because the previous method relied on moving the object within the capturing range using a fixed-point camera, the collected image dataset was limited in terms of capturing viewpoints. To overcome this limitation, this study presents a mobile application-based free-viewpoint image-capturing method. With the proposed application, users can collect multi-view image datasets automatically that are annotated with bounding boxes by moving the camera. However, capturing images through human involvement is laborious and monotonous. Therefore, we propose gamified application features to track the progress of the collection status. Our experiments demonstrated that using the gamified mobile application for bounding box annotation, with visible collection progress status, can motivate users to collect multi-view object image datasets with less mental workload and time pressure in an enjoyable manner, leading to increased engagement.Comment: 10 pages, 16 figure

    Novel β-polyfluoroalkoxy vinamidinium salts 3 and/or 4 were synthesized in good yields by the reaction of N-(2- polyfluoroalkoxy-3 ,3-difluoro-1-propenyI)trimethylammonium iodides (2), prepared from N-(2,3,3-trifluoro-1-propenyl)trimethylammonium iodide (1), with secondary amines in MeCN at 70 °C for 1 h. The salts were also obtainable in comparable yields by the one-pot reaction of 1 with sodium polyfluoroalkoxide followed by treatment with amines

    Clinical utility of silk-elastin sponge in patients with chronic and acute skin ulcers: study protocol of a multi-center clinical trial

    INTRODUCTION: Not only chronic but also some acute wounds have a risk of infection and become unhealed wounds. Silk-elastin sponge has been developed to treat chronic wounds that are susceptible to infection. Preclinical and clinical studies suggested that silk-elastin sponge is safe for humans and can promote granulation tissue formation by reducing bacterial growth in chronic wounds. The central aim of this trial is to evaluate the clinical utility and safety of silk-elastin sponge for the treatment of chronic and acute skin ulcers. METHODS: This study is a prospective, multicenter, single-arm, uncontrolled clinical trial. In this study, 20 patients with chronic ulcers and five with an acute one will be included; patients with wound infection will be excluded. Silk-elastin sponges are applied and covered with a dressing for 14 days. PLANNED OUTCOMES: The primary endpoint is the frequency of patients with chronic wounds in whom the investigator confirms the formation of a healthy wound bed at 14 days after the initial application of the study device.     The purpose of this study is to examine administrative changes and problem of in-home care support center through a comparison with before and after the implementation of the long-term care insurance at C in-home care support center in the city of A. The study has found four problems as follows; 1) decrease in amount of financial support; 2) delay of qualitative service delivery for the elderly; 3) rapid increase in the number of counseling; and 4) reaching upper limit of the capacity in service. It may be true that the implementation of the long-term care insurance has might affect in-home care support center on finance and personnel. There are solutions for in-home care support center to maintain the quality of service.     A preliminary study for analysis of three dimensional change of children's palates and alveolar ridges in pre-dentition period

    無歯期小児における口蓋および歯槽部の経時的な形態変化を縦断採得した模型資料により立体的に分析するための基礎研究として、三次元形状計測装置を用いて、成長に伴う口蓋および歯槽部の形態変化について検討を行い、以下の結論を得た。 1)口蓋の側方および垂直方向への成長変化は生後6か月までは大きいが、その後はゆるやかであった。 2)生後7日から3か月までは側方への成長が大きく、特に生後7日から1か月にかけての成長変化が最大となった。 3)生後6か月以降は口蓋前方部の前方向への成長が大きかった。 口腔内模型を三次元形状データに変換することにより、面積や体積の計測が可能になり、数値のみならず形態変化を視覚化することが可能となった。The purpose of this study was to analyze the growth of palates and alveolar ridges in pre-dental period longitudinally and 3-dimmensionally. The study models obtained from a few volunteers during pre-dentition stage at appropriate intervals were scanned to create the corresponding 3D surface models by the use of a non-contact 3D surface scanner, and the morphological changes during growth and development periods of each individual were analyzed. 1) The palates considerably increased laterally and vertically during the first six months, and leveled off. 2) The palates increased, to a large extent, in lateral direction during first one months, and then gradually increased within 3months. 3) The size of anterior palates increased in a sagittally within the first six month. At last, the three-dimensional measuring system was useful aid to analyze the development of jaws of the nepionic children
