    Protecting Ownership Rights of Videos Against Digital Piracy: An Efficient Digital Watermarking Scheme

    Violation of one’s intellectual ownership rights by the others is a common problem which entertainment industry frequently faces now-a-days. Sharing of information over social media platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp and twitter without giving credit the owner causes huge financial losses to the owner and hence needs an immediate attention. Digital watermarking is a promising technique to protect owners’ right against digital piracy. Most of the state-of-the-art techniques does not provides adequate level of resilience against majority of video specific attacks and other commonly applied attacks. Therefore, this paper proposes a highly transparent and robust video watermarking solution to protect the owners rights by first convert each video frame into YCbCr color components and then select twenty five strongest speeded-up robust features (SURF) points of the normalized luminance component as points for both watermark embedding and extraction. After applying variety of geometric, simple signal processing and video specific attacks on the watermarked video meticulous analysis is performed using popular metrics which reveals that the proposed scheme possesses high correlation value which makes it superior for practical applications against these attacks. The scheme also proposes a novel three-level impairment scale for subjective analysis which gives stable results to derive correct conclusions

    A new series of 12 complexes of cobalt(II) and nickel(II) with N-isonicotinamido-2′,4′-dichlorobenzalaldimine (INH-DCB) with the general composition MX(2) · n(INH-DCB) [M = Co(II) or Ni(II), X = Cl(−) ,Br(−), NO(3)(−), NCS(−), or CH(3)COO(−), n = 2; X = ClO(4) (−), n = 3] have been synthesized. The nature of bonding and the stereochemistry of the complexes have been deduced from elemental analyses, infrared, electronic spectra, magnetic susceptibility, and conductivity measurements. An octahedral geometry has been suggested for all the complexes. The metal complexes were screened for their antifungal and antibacterial activities on different species of pathogenic fungi and bacteria and their biopotency has been discussed

    Rural development is gaining global attention, especially among developing nations. It has great importance for a country such as India. It refers to the development of rural economies, which are experiencing serious poverty issues, and aims to develop their productivity. In addition, the report stresses the importance of addressing different pressing issues of village economies that impede growth and improve these areas.  The Indian government has launched several schemes to develop rural areas. A few of the major problems in rural India are the lack of housing, the lack of infrastructure in villages and towns to connect villages with all-weather roads, and the lack of employment opportunities. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the government of India has announced the Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yoiana Gramin scheme to provide homes, Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojana to build roads and To provide rural people with employment opportunities, the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 was passed.     Machining Characteristics and Parametric Optimisation of Inconel 825 during Electric Discharge Machining

    This paper presents the machining characteristics and parametric optimisation of Inconel 825 during die-sinking electrical discharge machining (EDM) process. This work considers seven input parameters out of which six are of three levels and one is of one level. Metal removal rate (MRR), tool wear rate (TWR) and surface roughness (SR) have been considered as performance measures. Before carrying out physical experimental runs, the experiments have been designed using Taguchi’s L36 (21 × 36) orthogonal array (OA). In order to identify the significant input parameters, Analysis of Variance has been employed on the experimental data. Discharge current, pulse-on-time, tool material and tool electrode lift time are found as significant input parameters. The effects of these significant parameters on the performance measures have been presented using Taguchi\u27s technique. After machining, study of surface characteristics of the electric discharged machined surface has been carried out using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDXS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). These studies help in obtaining the information pertaining to topography of the machined surface, material transfer from tool and dielectric to the machined surface, and presence of extra element and their different phases at the machined surface. It has been found from the research that Carbon, Oxygen, Iron, Nickel, Chromium and little amount of Molybdenum are transferred to the surface of work piece. Further, for the best yield of the process, the optimal combination of input parameters has been obtained and reported using Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) as a multi-objective optimisation technique.
