    Islamic faith should be taught to communities since early ages. Thisaims for filtering them from the deviate ideology. One of the ways is teachingclassic books. This studies local book entitled Niyat Ingsun Ngaji written byKH.Badawi Hanafi. This uses an intertekstual method with other books suchas Nur al-Zalam written by Syekh Nawawi Al-Bantani, Rawihat al-Aqwamwritten by KH.Bisri Mustafa, and Aqidah al-Awam written by Sayid Ahmadal-Marzuqi. Content of the book is analyzed using critical discourse analysis.It is to know transformation of value, interpretation, and response of kyaiand santri. Finding of the research illustrates that Islamic transformationis limited in knowledge transformation. There is difference explanation ofGod's character and Prophet's character given by KH.Badawi Hanafi, SyekhNawawi al-Bantani and KH.Bisri Mustafa. Interpretation of kyai and santritoward content of the book Niyat Ingsun Ngaji is relatively the same as thepredecessor. Their response is more likely an introspective meaning whichtends to enhance inner faith

    Analisa Tentang Pengaruh Panjang Sinyal Suara Data Primer Terhadap Kinerja Sistem Identifikasi Pembicara

    Penelitian ini mencoba menganalisa pengaruh panjang sinyal data primer, yang diolah menggunakan metode estimasi trispektrum, terhadap kinerja sistem pembicara melalui sinyal suara yang diucapkan. Proses pengolahan data primer ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan estimasi data magnitudo dan fase sinyal suara. Pada proses ini, sinyal suara yang berupa sebuah kata yang diucapkan, dibagi menjadi beberapa chunk. Setiap chunk diestimasi kemudian dicari rata-ratanya. Hasil estimasi ini, berupa data magnitudo dan fase sinyal, disimpan menjadi beberapa kategori, yakni disimpan seluruh data, separuh data, seperempat, dan seterusnya. Masing-masing dianalisa berdasarkan waktu eksekusi estimasi, jumlah data yang dihasilkan estimasi itu, dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja sistem pembicara. Dari beberapa ujicoba menunjukkan bahwa ukuran panjang sinyal yang diestimasi memberikan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terhadap kinerja sistem pada seperempat bagian atau yang lebih kecil lagi. Lama eksekusi proses estimasi untuk seperempat, seperdelapan, dan seperenambelas bagian sinyal tidak sampai satu detik. Sedangkan untuk satu bagian sinyal membutuhkan sembilan detik, dan untuk setengah bagian sinyal membutuhkan waktu eksekusi selama satu detik

    Pantai Utara Semarang merupakan perairan yang menjadi bagian dari Laut Jawa yang dipengaruhi oleh angin muson. Selain itu, diketahui juga bahwa iklim di perairan Pantai Utara Semarang dipengaruhi oleh variabilitas musiman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui variabilitas suhu permukaan laut di Pantai Utara Semarang dengan menggunakan bantuan citra satelit Aqua Modis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data primer berupa nilai suhu permukaan laut (SPL) yang diukur secara langsung di lapangan sebagai verifikasi data citra satelit Aqua Modis. Data sekunder berupa data arah dan kecepatan angin serta data arah dan kecepatan arus permukaan rata – rata bulanan dari bulan Desember 2013 sampai dengan September 2014 yang diperoleh dari Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika Stasiun Meteorologi Maritim Semarang. Data tersebut selanjutnya diolah dengan citra Aqua Modis. Diketahui bahwa sebaran suhu permukaan laut di perairan Pantai Utara Semarang mencapai nilai derajat maksimum pada musim Timur yaitu 32,3 oC. Sebaran suhu permukaan laut di perairan Pantai Utara Semarang mencapai nilai derajat paling minimum ketika musim Barat yaitu 24,6 oC

    Cervical cancer is one kind of many cancer that cause death to women around the world. Many studies had support the statement that inflammation has a strong linkage with cancer development. Several factors like proinflammatory factor can influence tumor cell microenvironment, and induce a faster proliferation. TNF-α is suspected can induce proliferation. While cancer itself can induce inflammation, which is marked by several marker. One of them is HMGB1, released from the cell as active secretory lysosomes or passive diffusion. Genistein has demonstrated growth inhibitory effects of various types of cancer cells. It inhibits tyrosine kinase pathway, which can be activated by TNF-α. One of those pathways that have the link with proliferation is p38. This study tries to reveal about inhibitory effect of genistein toward p38 pathway that had been activated by TNF-α. This research was conducted by exposing cultured HeLa cells with various doses of genistein for 90 minutes, and then exposed to TNF - α 10 ng / mL for 20 minutes. Observations were made with a confocal microscope, by staining the cells with pp38-TRITC and HMGB1 antibody. The intensity was measured and analyzed by Fluoview software. The results suggest that there be significant differences between pp38 intranuclear intensity and HMGB1 extranuclear intensity of each dose of genistein (p = 0.000, ANOVA). pp38 and HMGB1 intensity were increased along with increasing genistein dose, but at high dose there were noted decreasing of pp38 and HMGB1 intensity. At apoptotic dose, pp38 and HMGB1 intensity were increased markedly, showing the effect of apoptosis. In general, increasing doses of genistein increase intranuclear p38 activation and HMGB1 extranuclear translocation. So there were a strong linkage between p38 activation and HMGB1 translocation in this study

    PT. Sinar Jaya Sukses Mandiri (PT. SJSM) is a company engaged in telecommunications. In carrying out its business activities, PT. SJSM has not maximized the utilized the information system (IS) and information technology (IT). This research aims to produce strategic information systems planning and technology at PT. SJSM that will support the business strategy. The research uses is the data collection method by doing bibliography study, observation and interviews, and analysis and planning method by conducting an analysis of internal and external environment of business and company IS/IT using value chain analysis, SWOT, CSF, Porter's five forces, and PEST. This research produces a recommendation of strategic planning and information technology systems of PT. SJSM including IS/IT management strategy, IS business strategy and IT strategy. The conclusions of this research is that information system and information technology strategies are needed to support the achievement of the vision, mission and corporate objectives, and are expected to increase the company competitiveness

    Antidepressant-like effect of aqueous extract of Channa striatus fillet in mice models of depression.

    Background and Objectives: Channa (C.) striatus (Malay-Haruan), is a fresh water snakehead fish, consumed as a rejuvenating diet in post-parturition period in local Malay population. The aqueous extract of C. striatus fillet (AECSF) was reported to act through serotonergic receptor system in a previous study. There is no scientific report on neuropharmacological effects of C. striatus. Based on these data, the antidepressant-like effect of C. striatus was evaluated in mice models of depression. Materials and Methods: AECSF was prepared by steaming the fillets as described previously. Antidepressant activity was studied in male ICR mice using forced swimming test (FST) and tail suspension test (TST). Open-field test was used to evaluate any psychomotor stimulant activity. AECSF was administered intraperitoneally at the concentrations of 30%, 40% and 50% w/v at the dosage of 10 ml/kg. Amitriptyline (10 mg/kg) was used as positive control. Results: All the three concentrations of AECSF (30%, 40% and 50% w/v) significantly reduced the immobility time (p < 0.001) in FST and TST. All the three concentrations of AECSF (30%, 40% and 50% w/v) significantly (p < 0.001) reduced locomotor activity in a dose-dependent manner in open-field test. Conclusions: AECSF produced significant reduction of immobility time in both FST and TST. Amitriptyline produced a significant reduction of immobility time in both FST and TST similar to previous findings. The AECSF produced a dose-dependent decrease in locomotor activity in the open-field test. This hypolocomotion effect indicated the absence of any psychomotor stimulant activity thereby supporting the antidepressant-like effect of the AECSF. The pharmacological mechanisms of the observed antidepressant-like effect and hypolocomotion effect are not understood from our study. Hence, further studies are required

    Involvement of monoaminergic system in the antidepressant-like effect of aqueous extract of Channa striatus in mice

    BACKGROUND: In our previous study, the aqueous extract of Channa striatus (family: Channidae) fillet (AECSF) showed an antidepressant-like effect in mice. However, the mechanism of the antidepressant-like effect is unknown. AIM: The objective of this study was to explore the involvement of monoamines in the antidepressant-like effect of AECSF in mice. MATERIALS AND METHODS: AECSF was prepared by steaming the fillets of C. striatus. The male ICR mice were pretreated with various monoaminergic antagonists viz., p-chlorophenylalanine (100 mg/kg, i.p.), prazosin (1 mg/kg, i.p.) and yohimbine (1 mg/kg, i.p.), SCH23390 (0.05 mg/kg, s.c.) and sulpiride (50 mg/kg, i.p.) followed by treatment with AECSF and tested in tail suspension test (TST). Two-way ANOVA with Tukey test were used at p < 0.05 for significance. RESULTS: The pretreatments with p-chlorophenylalanine, prazosin and yohimbine, but not with SCH23390 and sulpiride, were able to reverse the antidepressant-like effect of AECSF in TST. CONCLUSIONS: The antidepressant-like effect of AECSF may be mediated through the serotonergic and noradrenergic systems and not through the dopaminergic system
