    Right Atrial Blood Cyst with Stones Suspended from the Coronary Sinus

    ABSTRACT: Cardiac blood cysts are rare benign neoplasms, usually involving the cardiac valves and are remnants of the Chiari network. They are usually detected in the first six months of life and rarely occur in children or adults. We report a 76-year-old male patient who was referred to the Imam Ali Hospital affiliated with Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, Kermanshah, Iran, in 2018 with dyspnoea. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed a small patent foramen ovale (PFO) and a circumferential mobile cystic mass in the right atrium, with the impression of a tumour or thrombus. The patient underwent open-heart surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass to repair to PFO and remove the intra-atrial lesion. During surgical examination of the right atrial cavity, a blood cyst containing small stone-like structures on the coronary sinus valve of the right atrium was found. The post-operative course was uneventful and no recurrence of tumour was detected during six months of follow-up. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case of a right atrial blood cyst with a few nodule-like stones in an adult with PFO in Iran and the second case in an adult with PFO worldwide.Keywords: Cyst; Coronary Sinus; Adult; Operative Surgical Procedure; Case Report; Iran

    Concurrence classes for general pure multipartite states

    We propose concurrence classes for general pure multipartite states based on an orthogonal complement of a positive operator valued measure on quantum phase. In particular, we construct WmW^{m} class, GHZmGHZ^{m}, and GHZm1GHZ^{m-1} class concurrences for general pure mm-partite states. We give explicit expressions for W3W^{3} and GHZ3GHZ^{3} class concurrences for general pure three-partite states and for W4W^{4}, GHZ4GHZ^{4}, and GHZ3GHZ^{3} class concurrences for general pure four-partite states.Comment: 14 page

    The invariant-comb approach and its relation to the balancedness of multipartite entangled states

    The invariant-comb approach is a method to construct entanglement measures for multipartite systems of qubits. The essential step is the construction of an antilinear operator that we call {\em comb} in reference to the {\em hairy-ball theorem}. An appealing feature of this approach is that for qubits (or spins 1/2) the combs are automatically invariant under SL(2,\CC), which implies that the obtained invariants are entanglement monotones by construction. By asking which property of a state determines whether or not it is detected by a polynomial SL(2,\CC) invariant we find that it is the presence of a {\em balanced part} that persists under local unitary transformations. We present a detailed analysis for the maximally entangled states detected by such polynomial invariants, which leads to the concept of {\em irreducibly balanced} states. The latter indicates a tight connection with SLOCC classifications of qubit entanglement. \\ Combs may also help to define measures for multipartite entanglement of higher-dimensional subsystems. However, for higher spins there are many independent combs such that it is non-trivial to find an invariant one. By restricting the allowed local operations to rotations of the coordinate system (i.e. again to the SL(2,\CC)) we manage to define a unique extension of the concurrence to general half-integer spin with an analytic convex-roof expression for mixed states.Comment: 17 pages, revtex4.     New urbanism approach and urban space in mega cities

    New Urbanism design principles have been adopted for many urban planning efforts in recent years. The purpose of this paper is studding the structure and space of Shahid Beheshti Square as one of the most important and old squares of Tabriz from the view of new urbanism principals. In order to reaching this purpose the data were collected through a questionnaire distributed among peoples that attend in Shahid Beheshti square and an Exploratory Factor Analysis using Principal Component Analysis was carried out and to reaching to the accurate data interview used as supplementary method. The results show that among the new urbanism design principles, Increased Density is the only principle that observed in study area and Green Space, Mixed Housing and Connectivity are the principles that have the low factor load. Actually the urban space in square is not designed based on new urbanism principles and failed to satisfy the satisfaction of the people to the use of space

    Evaluation of SIP Signalling and QoS for VoIP over OLSR MANET Routing Protocol

    Abstract: This paper evaluates the SIP based VoIP applications over the Optimized Link State Routing protocol (OLSR) as a proactive routing protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) using Static, Uniform, and Random mobility models. The evaluation considered PCM, LQS, IPTelephony, and GSM voice codecs to study the SIP signaling performance and the voice Quality of Service (QoS) for VoIP calls over OLSR MANET. The simulation efforts performed in OPNET Modeler 17.1. The results show that VoIP over OLSR MANET has good performance over Static and Uniform mobility models while it has variable performance with Random models. SIP signaling has large delays compared with the voice signaling which reduce the VoIP performance and increases the call's duration. In addition, GSM and LQS based VoIP calls have an acceptable level of QoS while PCM and IP-Telephony based VoIP calls have a low level of QoS over different types of mobility models. Furthermore, the location and the mobility of SIP server affect the number of hops and the SIP signaling performance between the different parties of the VoIP call

    Nanoparticles Based-Plant Protein Containing Rosmarinus officinalis Essential Oil; Fabrication, Characterization, and Evaluation

    The toxicity risks, instability of essential oil, and complex composition are principal obstacles to using essential plant oil for clinical applications. Solving stability-related problems, providing targeted drug delivery, and decreasing plant essential oil toxicity, encapsulation can be used successfully. Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a perennial plant of the Lamiaceae family with various healing properties. However, the rosemary essential oil, as volatile oil, is fast evaporated, which limits its applications. This study’s goal is to boost the prevent evaporation and bioactivity of rosemary essential oil by developing zein-NPs as a promising NDS (nano-drug-delivery system) and assessing the effect of NPs on the rosemary essential oil efficacy. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed NPs sizes between 70–200 nm. With dynamic light scattering analysis (DLS), the average size of zein nanoparticle-containing rosemary essential oil (NPZLA) was obtained at ca. 154.5 nm. The entrapment efficiency (EE) on rosemary essential oil was ca. 71% inside the zein NPs. The in vitro release suggests that the polymeric barrier can control the rosemary essential oil release. Zein-NPs can be potentially used as NC (nanocarrier) for enhancing the evaporation inhibitor of ether oil of rosemary essential oil to enhance its bioavailability and performance further. It can be concluded that rosemary plant can be used as the core inside the nanoparticle by biological production method due to its medicinal properties and other properties. Based on the stated content, it is clear that in the future, by conducting more extensive research, the necessary platform can be provided for the use of this medicinal plant as much as possible in the pharmaceutical industry

    We present maps and a catalogue containing the J=1-0 12CO parameters of 29 individual molecular clouds in the second-brightest LMC star formation complex, N11. In the southwestern part of N11, molecular clouds occur in a ring or shell surrounding the major OB star association LH9. In the northeastern part, a chain of molecular clouds delineates the rim of one of the so-called supergiant shells in the LMC. The well-defined clouds have dimensions close to those of the survey beam (diameters of 25 pc or less). Some of the clouds were also observed in J=2-1 12CO, and in the lower two transitions of 13CO. Clouds mapped with a twice higher angular resolution in J=2-1 12CO show substructure with dimensions once again comparable to those of the mapping beam. The few clouds for which we could model physical parameters have fairly warm (T(kin) = 60 - 150 K) and moderately dense (n(H2) = 3000 cm-3) gas. The northeastern chain of CO clouds, although lacking in diffuse intercloud emission, is characteristic of the more quiescent regions of the LMC and appears to have been subject to relatively little photo-processing. The clouds forming part of the southwestern shell or ring, however, are almost devoid of diffuse intercloud emission and also exhibit other characteristics of an extreme photon-dominated region (PDR).Comment: 14 pages; accepted for publication in A&

    Spitzer IRAC Observations of Star Formation in N159 in the LMC

    We present observations of the giant HII region complex N159 in the LMC using IRAC on the {\it Spitzer Space Telescope}. One of the two objects previously identified as protostars in N159 has an SED consistent with classification as a Class I young stellar object (YSO) and the other is probably a Class I YSO as well, making these two stars the youngest stars known outside the Milky Way. We identify two other sources that may also be Class I YSOs. One component, N159AN, is completely hidden at optical wavelengths, but is very prominent in the infrared. The integrated luminosity of the entire complex is L 9×106\approx 9\times10^6L_{\odot}, consistent with the observed radio emission assuming a normal Galactic initial mass function (IMF). There is no evidence for a red supergiant population indicative of an older burst of star formation. The N159 complex is 50 pc in diameter, larger in physical size than typical HII regions in the Milky Way with comparable luminosity. We argue that all of the individual components are related in their star formation history. The morphology of the region is consistent with a wind blown bubble $\approx 1-2Myr-old that has initiated star formation now taking place at the rim. Other than its large physical size, star formation in N159 appears to be indistinguishable from star formation in the Milky Way.Comment: 14 figure
