Aspectos elementales para el adecuado uso de traductores automáticos

This article presents the results of a documentary study with a qualitative approach in which a literature review was carried out on the basic aspects necessary for future translation professionals and language learners to make proper use of automatic translators. This review revealed basic aspects whose mastery is unavoidable for translation students, since they make up a series of qualities required to practice this profession that are related to linguistic knowledge, but aspects directly linked to the use of language were also identified of the aforementioned technological tool by the community in general that uses this resource for their language learningEste artículo presenta los resultados de un estudio documental con enfoque cualitativo en el cual se realizó una revisión de literatura acerca de los aspectos elementales necesarios para que los futuros profesionales de la traducción y los aprendices de lenguas hagan un uso adecuado de los traductores automáticos. Dicha revisión reveló aspectos básicos cuyo dominio es ineludible por parte de los estudiantes de traducción, ya que conforman una serie de cualidades requeridas para ejercer esta profesión que se encuentran relacionadas con el conocimiento lingüístico, pero también se identificaron aspectos directamente ligados con el uso de la herramienta tecnológica antes mencionada por parte de la comunidad en general que utiliza este recurso para su aprendizaje de idiomas.&nbsp

La traducción audiovisual durante el siglo XXI

The current analysis is the product of a documentary investigation carried out in principle by observations of reality itself, since the functional cultural exchange is progressively significant for the advancement of society. Based on the aforementioned dynamism, Audiovisual Translation supports the practical link between two different cultures in integrity, persuasively including both images and sounds to gain a greater impression on the recipient. This paper shows the thematic, and theoretical trends identified in 22 articles about Audiovisual Translation (ATV), of which 10 are oriented towards the analysis of dubbing, 8 more focus on the analysis of subtitling and 4 more of the works address both modalities. It should be noted that these investigations expose the pre-eminence of interpretation itself as an analysis strategy in this context. The objective was to identify the topics that have been a trend since the beginning of the 21st century and that have represented problems from the translator's point of view. It was concluded that Audiovisual Translation represents a suggestive area of ​​study to examine the intention that a translation itself has: to convey a message to the receiver.El actual análisis es el producto de una investigación documental ejecutada en principio por observaciones de la realidad misma, puesto que el intercambio cultural funcional es progresivamente significativo para el avance de la sociedad. En función de mencionado dinamismo, la Traducción Audiovisual admite el enlace práctico entre dos culturas diferentes en integridad, incluyendo persuasivamente tanto imágenes como sonidos para ganar una mayor impresión en el destinatario. En el presente trabajo se muestran las tendencias temática y teórica identificadas en 22 artículos acerca de Traducción Audiovisual (TAV), de los cuales 10 están orientados hacia el análisis de doblajes, 8 más se enfocan en el análisis del subtitulado y 4 más de los trabajos abordan ambas modalidades. Cabe destacar que dichas investigaciones exponen la preeminencia de la interpretación misma como estrategia de análisis en este contexto. El objetivo fue identificar los temas que han sido tendencia desde el inicio del siglo XXI y que han representado problemáticas desde la mirada traductora. Inteligencia emocional como soporte formativo para el estudiante de licenciatura en idiomas

This article presents the results of a qualitative research carried out with students of the Bachelor of Languages program at the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco, in which it was sought to know the knowledge, circumstances and perceptions of the students regarding emotional intelligence and its possible implementation during their training process in the career. The sample consisted of 20 participants from both disciplinary fields: Translation and Interpreting and Teaching and the instrument that was applied was a semi-structured interview. The results indicated that it is necessary to adopt an instruction within the framework of emotional education that allows language learners to develop management strategies to optimize their integral development.Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación cualitativa realizada con estudiantes de la carrera Licenciado en Idiomas en la Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco, en la cual se buscó conocer los conocimientos, circunstancias y percepciones de los alumnos en torno a la inteligencia emocional y su posible implementación durante su proceso formativo en la carrera. La muestra constó de 20 participantes de ambos campos disciplinares: Traducción e Interpretación y Docencia y el instrumento que se aplicó fue una entrevista semiestructurada. Los resultados indicaron que es necesario adoptar una instrucción en el marco de la educación emocional que permita a los aprendices de lenguas desarrollar estrategias de gestión para optimizar su desarrollo integral

Factores socioeconómicos que afectan la enseñanza-aprendizaje de inglés como segunda lengua en estudiantes de una escuela secundaria pública

This article presents the results of an investigation carried out in a public secondary school in the state of Tabasco, in order to determine the socioeconomic factors of a personal and institutional nature that affect students' learning of English. To do this, questionnaires were carried out for the students and for the English teacher, in which questions were asked to identify incident factors of a socioeconomic nature and the perception of the participants regarding their impact on their learning of the second language. The results indicated that, in student learning, the socioeconomic factors that most affect are purchasing power, social class and the type of education received, which is summarized in the opportunities they have to access quality education. Contraste fonético-ortográfico entre las interjecciones imitativas del inglés y el español

This article presents the results of a phonetic-orthographic contrast between certain imitative interjections in Spanish and English in order to analyze the similarities and differences that can cause interference for language learners or a problem during their translation. To do this, a selection of 20 partially or totally similar imitative interjections was made to later analyze the spelling used in these and their phonetic transcriptions. Likewise, the main phonetic and orthographic rules related to each case were highlighted. The results indicate that interjections are grammatical elements of greater relevance than is usually considered in studies of applied linguistics, since when contrasting them, the L1 of the learners is taken into account and an objective position is assumed about what it can become a mistake.Este artículo presenta los resultados de un contraste fonético-ortográfico entre ciertas interjecciones imitativas del español y el inglés con el fin de analizar las similitudes y diferencias que pueden ocasionar una interferencia para los aprendices de lenguas o un problema durante su traducción. Para ello, se realizó una selección de 20 interjecciones imitativas parcial o totalmente similares para después analizar la ortografía empleada en estas y sus transcripciones fonéticas. Asimismo, se destacaron las principales reglas fonéticas y ortográficas relacionadas con cada caso. Los resultados indican que las interjecciones son elementos gramaticales de una relevancia mayor a la que se suele considerar en los estudios de la lingüística aplicada, puesto que al contrastarlas se toma en cuenta la L1 de los aprendices y se asume una postura objetiva acerca de lo que puede convertirse en un error

Propuesta de un modelo de negocio para la vivienda de personas sin acceso a crédito bancario

Este proyecto presenta una propuesta para apoyar a una parte de la población con una oferta que se deriva de los gastos fijos que se tienen en todas las familias, el alquiler de la vivienda. Se planea llevar a cabo la oferta a posibles clientes que pudieran estar interesados en invertir los egresos que generan los pagos por habitar un inmueble, el cual nunca será suyo y, sumado a otro monto, poder hacerse acreedor a una casa propia. En este plan presentado, los pagos de renta serán sustituidos por el abono de un bien inmueble, el cual estarán habitando las familias beneficiadas. Para poder realizarlo, se tienen contempladas varias actividades y estudios hacia los prospectos, en donde se les evaluará de acuerdo con varios lineamientos. Una vez realizado el proceso y trámites necesarios, se hará la compra de la casa y se le entregará al comprador para que pueda habitarla. Los pagos correspondientes al bien inmueble serán divididos en pagos a inversionistas y utilidad misma de la empresa

The Conditions Needed for a Buffer to Set the pH in a System

It is a known fact that buffer systems are widely used in industry and in diverse laboratories to maintain the pH of a system within desired limits, occasionally narrow. Hence, the aim of the present work is to study the buffer capacity and buffer efficacy in order to determine the useful conditions to impose the pH on a given system. This study is based on the electroneutrality and component balance equations for a mixture of protons polyreceptors. The added volume equations were established, V, for strong acids or bases, as well as the buffer capacity equations with dilution effect, β dil, and the buffer efficacy, ε, considering that the analyte contains a mixture of the species of the same polyacid system or of various polyacid systems. The ε index is introduced to define the performance of a buffer solution and to find out for certain, whether the buffer is adequate or not to set the pH of a system, given the proper conditions and characteristics

Administrative audit process development analysis in smes in the town of Escárcega

La Auditoría administrativa es la técnica más utilizada dentro de las organizaciones. Gracias a su implementación y desarrollo, la alta dirección encuentra un mecanismo de control que permite conocer el estado actual de sus procesos y la veracidad de la información. Este proyecto de investigación analizó el desarrollo de un proceso de auditoría en las pymes de la localidad de Escárcega. El proceso de investigación cuenta con un enfoque cualitativo de tipo descriptivo; se utilizó un cuestionario, verificando su validez y confiabilidad mediante el coeficiente del Alfa de Cronbach. Posteriormente, se realizó la colecta de datos mediante un muestreo probabilístico por racimos así se obtienen los resultados; estos muestran que el 50% de las Pymes aseguran conocer un proceso de auditoría administrativa que es interpretada como una estricta supervisión; por lo tanto, es preciso que los responsables de los negocios rompan con el miedo y se atrevan a llevarla a cabo.Administrative audit is the most used technique within organizations. Thanks to its implementation and development, senior management finds a control mechanism that allows knowing the current status of its processes and the veracity of the information. This research project studied the development analysis of an audit process in SMEs in the town of Escárcega. The fact-finding process has a descriptive qualitative approach. A questionnaire was used and its validity and reliability were verified through the Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. After that the data was collected through probabilistic sampling by clusters. Thus, the results were obtained. They showed that 50% of SMEs claimed to know an administrative audit process that was interpreted as strict supervision. Therefore, it is necessary for business managers to overcome the fear and dare to carry it out.Facultad de Ciencias Económica
