Die Blechtrommel: narrador literario adulto versus narrador fílmico niño.

El presente estudio toma como punto de partida la película realizada por el director alemán Volker Schlöndorff Die Blechtrommel (1979), basada en la novela homónima de Günter Grass, para adentrarse en los problemas que supone la traslación a imágenes de una obra literaria compleja y extensa, como es el caso del clásico del Premio Nobel alemán. La adaptación realizada por Schlöndorff constituye un modelo de cómo se puede mantener la fidelidad al espíritu del autor y a la particular visión del protagonista de El Tambor de Hojalata, sin tener que renunciar por ello a la expresión de un lenguaje fílmico personal y sugerente

La figura del simpatizante nacionalsocialista en El tambor de hojalata de Günter Grass y en su homónima adaptación cinematográfica: Un análisis comparativo e interdisciplinar

La pretensión central del presente artículo consiste en el análisis comparativo e interdisciplinar de uno de los componentes literarios de la novela Die Blechtrommel (1959) a la homónima película de Volker Schlöndorff (1979): la figura del simpatizante nacionalsocialista. Profundizaremos en los problemas que surgen al trasladar esta figura, que se caracteriza por un alto grado de complejidad, desde el referente literario a la adaptación cinematográfica y trataremos de mostrar como el director cinematográfico, uno de los más prestigiosos del cine contemporáneo alemán, realiza tan ardua labor con los medios que el cine pone a su disposición. Especialmente importante en dicha tarea es la caracterización psicológica y física de las figuras fílmicas en cuestión. Nosotros estudiaremos si éstas se corresponden con las que pueden inferirse de la lectura del libro y como cobran vida por medio de recursos narrativos más esquemáticos que en dicho texto

Modelling and characterization of Quantum Dots as QLED devices for automotive lighting systems

This work reports the design, manufacturing and numerical simulation approach of an electroluminescent quantum dot light emitting device (QLED) based on quantum dots as an active layer. In addition, the electrical I-V curve was measured, observing how the fabrication process and layer thickness have an influence in the shape of the plot. This experimental device enabled us to create a computational model for the QLED based on the Transfer Hamiltonian approach to calculate the current density J(mA/cm2), the band diagram of the system and the accumulated charge distribution. Thanks to the QLED simulator developed, it would be possible to model the device and anticipate the electrical performance in a theoretical design step before going to QLED manufacturing at the laboratory. Recent results of the ANTARES Neutrino Telescope

The latest results from the ANTARES Neutrino Telescope are reported. Limits on a high energy neutrino diffuse flux have been set using for the first time both muon-track and showering events. The results for point sources obtained by ANTARES are also shown. These are the most stringent limits for the southern sky for neutrino energies below 100 TeV. Constraints on the nature of the cluster of neutrino events near the Galactic Centre observed by IceCube are also reported. In particular, ANTARES data excludes a single point-like neutrino source as the origin of this cluster. Looking for neutrinos coming from the Sun or the centre of the Galaxy, very competitive limits are set by the ANTARES data to the flux of neutrinos produced by self-annihilation of weakly interacting massive particles

La narrativa metaliteraria en la formación lectora: el caso de la novela juvenil alemana contemporánea

In this investigation, we study the presence of a transgressive poetic practice in German young readers’ narrative from the 21st century that brings forth a myriad of advantages where the reader-literacy competence of the young readers are concerned. The term in question is deemed as metaliterature which is a textual modality that breaks the mould and creates the topic of the current conventions of traditional rhetoric which requires a more active participation on behalf of the reader throughout the process of how the work is to be perceived. With this intention in mind, three meta-literary resources frequently used in twelve contemporary young reader German novels have undergone investigation which reinforce their own nature of literary artefacts: intertextuality, metalepsis and meta-literary observations. These resources trigger the activation of reader-literary strategies during the receptive process of the work, given that it breaks and reveals basic codes in the art of the written word.En la presente investigación se ha llevado a cabo un estudio sobre la presencia de una práctica poética transgresora en la narrativa juvenil alemana del S.XXI que conlleva numerosas ventajas para la formación lecto-literaria de los lectores juveniles. Se trata de la metaliteratura, una modalidad textual que fractura y tematiza las convenciones vigentes en la retórica tradicional y que obliga a su público a involucrarse más activamente en el proceso de interpretación de la obra. Con esta intención, se ha indagado en tres recursos metaliterarios empleados con gran frecuencia en doce novelas juveniles alemanas contemporáneas que hacen hincapié en su propia naturaleza de artefacto literario: la intertextualidad, la metalepsis y el comentario metaliterario. Estos recursos provocan la activación de estrategias lecto-literarias en el proceso de recepción de la obra, puesto que quebrantan y desvelan códigos fundamentales del arte de la palabra
