The Covid-19 pandemic is one of the biggest challenges to health systems’ ability to continue to provide good medical services. The development of the Covid-19 pandemic has required all hospitals to be able to adapt quickly and precisely to ensure safe services for patients and staff. The emergency department is the main gate for receiving patients with various emergency cases, both positive and negative for Covid-19. During the pandemic, the emergency room has been crowded with patients with symptoms that point to Covid-19. The high number of patients is a stressor and a challenge for the staff. In this case, the triage procedure is key in determining the patient’s emergency condition and the intervention to be carried out. The ideal triage system should be standardized and reliable in its implementation to achieve clinical efficiency in determining treatment. This was a phenomenological qualitative study to explore the experience of emergency room nurses in conducting triage during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted at the emergency department of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Hospital with a total of 4 participants. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews. The interview process was conducted using an interview guide and a recording device. Based on the results, the following themes were obtained: 1) the triage method used was disaster triage with visual triage; 2) EWS screening of Covid-19 patients; 3) dishonesty of patients and family; 4) triage was not performed in a standardized way because of the condition of the hospital; 5) distancing of patients with Covid-19 from others; and 6) guilt when refusing patients. In hospitals, family members of patients who need resuscitation attempts are usually taken outside of the resuscitation room. They are informed about the patient’s situation regularly by a team member. Nurses’ self-confidence is regarded as one of the most influential factors in accepting and implementing family presence during resuscitation. We wanted to see the perception and self-confidence of nurses about family presence during resuscitation (FPDR). Our research follows the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). We searched for articles in international databases such as PubMed and ProQuest from January 2020 to November 2020. Of the 219 articles discovered, seven articles were reviewed. Data extraction and analysis results found two themes: risk and benefits of family presence during resuscitation and promoting self-confidence. Keywords: Perceptions, self-confidence, family presence during resuscitatio

Quality of life is the ability of an individual to have a good and regular life. Health and well-being are the key factors in gaining high quality of life. Therefore, to attain an appropriate quality of life, giving social support to patients with HIV/AIDS is compulsory. This research investigated the relationship between social support and HIV/AIDS patients’ quality of life. This study used a correlational design associated with a cross-sectional approach. This research involved all of the patients with HIV/AIDS in Yayasan Cahaya Kasih Peduli AIDS WPA Turen. The data analysis used the Spearman rank correlation test. The finding of the research showed that 1 (2.2%) obtained less social support, 9 (20.0%) obtained sufficient social support, and 35 (77.8%) obtained optimal social support. However, life quality 1 (2.2%) assimilates low life quality, 10 (22.2%) assimilates an average life quality, and 34 (75.6%) assimilates a high life quality. The result from the Spearman rank correlation test appeared with the signification value (sig)= 0.000 < 0.05, and then H1 was accepted; hence it was discovered that there is a positive correlation between social support and quality of life in HIV/AIDS patients. Keywords: social support, quality of life, and patients with HIV/AID

Di dalam pendidikan kesehatan dikenal berbagai macam metode evaluasi. Dalam melakukan evaluasi pencapaian kompetensi keterampilan klinik diperlukan penilaian sampai tingkat "shows", "how" dan "does".

The accuracy of an early warning score (EWS) in early identification of a patient’s condition can help healthcare workers to promptly and appropriately identify therapy for the patient; it is also used to determine which patients will go to the emergency room, and to monitor the patient’s condition while in the hospital. There are no comprehensive syntheses of the current prognostics accuracy of EWS screening in patients with COVID-19. This review aimed to identify published articles that described EWS accuracy and parameters used in EWS screening. A systematic search of four databases (Science Direct, Pubmed, Google Scholar, and Proquest) was conducted to identify articles describing prognostics accuracy of EWS screening in patients with COVID-19. The EWS, its parameter and its components were extracted and narratively synthesized to identify patterns and themes across the types of EWS. A total of 10 articles describing EWS systems were identified. It was found that the National Early Warning Score (NEWS), National Early Warning Score 2 (NEWS2), Standardized Early Warning Score (SEWS), and Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) had accurate results ranging from 81-92% sensitivity, specificity of 78-84%, and accuracy of 90-96%. Finally, those EWS systems were shown to perform remarkably well in recognizing a patient’s clinical status at time of admission to the hospital and in determining the appropriate treatment. One of the primary services at the physiotherapy clinic of UMM Hospital is post-stroke rehabilitation. The hospital is fully equipped with the infrastructure that supports these services, including the availability of static cycles, IR, and diathermy. Post-stroke rehabilitation services have been conducted since June 2013, however, since the establishment of the clinic, levels of patient satisfaction have not been evaluated. Assessment of client satisfaction is important because, in the future, the clinic will be a place of reference for physiotherapy students about post-stroke rehabilitation and providing excellent service to clients. This study used the SERVQUAL (Service Quality) method which involves the assessment of the aspects of tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, to assess the level of patient satisfaction with different services. The study was conducted on all patients who come to the clinic between March and May 2015. The sample size was 20 patients. We identified the patient’s expectations and perception of clinic physiotherapy at the clinic and compared it to the results of the SERVQUAL performance assessment. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the majority of respondents were unsatisfied with the services at the physiotherapy clinic, due to the limitations of the physiotherapists’ abilities, long waiting times for services, and lack of on-call physiotherapists. In addition, there are patient complaints about the lack of equipment at the clinic. However, patients were very satisfied with the safety and comfort of the therapy services, this is influenced by the abilities of qualified physiotherapists who are able to resolve complaints We suggest that the clinic needs to increase the number of physiotherapists in this clinic, and it is necessary to make updates to the existing physiotherapy equipment.
