    Pengembangan Buku Ajar Fisika Dasar I Berbasis Self Regulated Learning Sebagai Upaya Memotivasi Mahasiswa untuk Belajar Mandiri

    Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku ajar Fisika Dasar I yang berbasis self regulated learning yang dapat memotivasi mahasiswa di dalam belajar mandiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Development and Research dengan mengadopsi tahapan model pengembangan 4D yaituà Define (pendefinisian), Design (perancangan), àDevelop (pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebarluasan). Tahap Define dilakukan untuk menentukan karakteristik produk buku ajar yang dikembangkan melalui studi pendahuluan. Pemilihan format pembuatan buku ajar dilakukan pada tahap Design untuk menghasilkan draft I. Tahap Develop dilakukan untuk menghasilkan draft II, draft III, dan produk akhir dari buku ajar yang dikembangkan. Draft II diperoleh melalui hasil revisi validasi ahli yang direkomendasikan. Draft III merupakan hasil yang diperoleh dari uji kelompok kecil diambil secara random. Produk akhir pengembangan diperoleh dari hasil uji lapangan pada mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I. Hasil validasi buku ajar serta perangkat pendukungnya menunjukkan kriteria ââ¬Åsangat layakââ¬Â untuk digunakan serta dapat memotivasi belajar mahasiswa secara mandir

    Effect of Scientific Approach toward Students' Critical Thinking Skills

    The role of education is to improve the quality of education, especially in producing high-quality students. High-quality students are those who are able to think critically, creatively, logically and take initiatives in responding to issues in society caused by the impact of the development of science and technology. This study aims to determine the effect of a scientific approach to students' critical thinking skills. This study is an experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study consisted of one class (28 students), which was treated using a scientific approach. Critical thinking skills are measured using a test instrument and then analyzed statistically (t test). Hypothesis test results indicate that there is an effect of using a scientific approach toward students' critical thinking skills

    The purpose of this study was to fundamental develop a Moodle-based learning media and know how to influence the use of instructional media on physics course. This research includes the development of research conducted through three stages that is: preliminary studies, design development, and testing media. Subjects of the study were students at the FPMIPA IKIP Mataram which was following the fundamental Physics course. Moodle-based learning media development in fundamental physics courses have been designed and have done the settings on the story board and page navigation, profile settings, administration settings, and management course settings.     Improving Student Learning Outcomes through Contextual Approach based on Learning Community

    This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of contextual approaches based on learning community in SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung in 2017/2018 Academic Year. This research is a classroom action research. Actions are carried out through two cycles, each cycle consisting of the process of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test instrument. The subjects of this study were 26 students of class VIII-4 of SMP Negeri 3 Tanjung. The results of the study showed that in the cycle I the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 76% with an average score of 74.23, while in the cycle II the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 92% with an average score of 85.34. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of contextual approaches based on learning community can improve student learning outcomes

    This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the applying of problem-based learning with computer simulation toward the critical thinking skills of pre-service physics teachers. This is necessary because critical thinking skills do not develop without the explicit and deliberate effort invested in its development. The combination with computer simulations are considered essential to overcome the difficulties learn abstract concepts in physics. This is research an experimental research. The subjects of this study were students at the Department of Physics Education, FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. The research instruments are test of critical thinking skills and questionnaire. The results showed a significant difference between students' critical thinking skills experimental class and control class, where an increase in the experimental class is higher than the control class. Students also gave a positive response to a given model

    Development of Inquiry-Based Teaching Materials to Improve the Creativity of Prospective Physics Teachers

    This research is part of development research at the development stage. Inquiry-based teaching materials developed to increase the creativity of physics teacher candidates have been validated by experts and declared fit for use. At this stage, the aim is to determine the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials in increasing the creativity of prospective physics teachers. The effectiveness of teaching materials developed by researchers can be known by increasing students' creativity based on the results of the N-Gain test after being given a pretest and posttest. The creativity instrument used is a description test which is divided into verbal and figural creativity tests. The pretest average score for the verbal and figural creativity instruments was 62.71 and the posttest average score for creativity was 93.50 both verbal and visual. This value was then analyzed using the N-Gain test with a calculation result of 82.07%, which means that this value is classified into the high increase category. So it can be concluded that the development of inquiry-based teaching materials to increase the creativity of prospective physics teachers is valid and effectivePenelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian pengembangan pada tahap develop. Bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa calon guru Fisika telah divalidasi oleh ahli dan dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan. Pada tahapan bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektitas dari bahan ajar yang dikembangkan terhadap peningkatan kreativitas calon guru fisika.  Keefektifan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan peneliti dapat diketahui melalui peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain setelah diberikan pretest dan posttest. Instrumen kreativitas yang digunakan berupa tes uraian yang terbagi menjadi tes kreativitas verbal dan figural. Nilai rata-rata pretest untuk instrumen kreativitas verbal maupun vigural yaitu 62.71 dan nilai rata-rata posttest kreativitas sebesar 93.50 baik dilihat dari verbal dan vigural. Nilai tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji N-Gain dengan hasil perhitungan sebesar 82.07% yang artinya nilai tersebut digolongkan ke dalam kategori peningkatan tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri untuk  meningkatkan kreativitas calon guru fisika valid dan efektif

    The Effect of Mind Mapping Media toward Physics Concepts Understanding

    Science learning carried out by teachers mostly uses conventional methods and rarely uses media in the activities of their teaching and learning process. Media mind mapping in physics learning can be used to describe a lot of material and can package it to be more interesting. The aim of this research to determine the effect of mind mapping media toward the students’ concept understanding. This study used quasi-experimental research with pretest and posttest control group design. The population used was all students of class X in SMA Negeri 1 Lingsar at 2018/2019 Academic Year. The number of samples are 32 students for the experiment class and 33 students for the control class taken by purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is the t-test using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. Based on the results of hypothesis testing (t test), it is known that the significance value of the posttest data (0.00) is smaller than alpha testing (0.05), so it can be stated that the mind mapping learning method influences the students' understanding of concepts

    PENERAPAN BUKU AJAR FISIKA DASAR I BERBASIS SRL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN DEDUKTIF MAHASISWA CALON GURU

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan buku ajar Fisika Dasar I berbasis self regulated learning terhadap hasil belajar deduktif mahasiswa melalui peningkatan hasil belajar yang diperoleh. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan yaitu one group pretest-postest design untuk mengetahui hasil sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah satu kelas yang dibagi menjadi dua kategori kemampuan awal SRL untuk melihat peningkatan belajar mandiri dan kemampuan deduktif Mahasiswa. Sampel yang digunakan diambil dari semua mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan fisika IKIP Mataram yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar Mahasiswa dapat mengatur cara belajar secara mandiri berdasarkan motivasi mereka masing-masing. Peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar deduktif yang diperoleh semua mahasiswa tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Mahasiswa yang kemampuan awalnya rendah memiliki SRL berkategori rendah dan sebaliknya, mahasiswa yang kemampuan awalnya tinggi memiliki SRL yang tinggi. Kemampuan SRL dari rata-rata Mahasiswa sebanding dengan kemampuan deduktif yang diperoleh. Peningkatan hasil deduktif untuk mahasiswa dengan kemampuan awal dan SRL rendah memperoleh kategori tinggi serta rendah untuk kemampuan awal rendah
