Diagnóstico sobre la violencia sexual de los niños y las niñas al interior de la familia en el municipio de Caldas, en el periodo del 2006 al 2010

El abuso o violencia sexual en los niños y las niñas, es un problema de gran impacto municipal, se define como una de las formas de maltrato infantil en la cual el adulto se aprovecha tanto de la confianza del niño o niña como de su superioridad, teniendo como consecuencia que el niño/a no comprenda la gravedad del hecho debido a su inmadurez psicosexual, por lo cual no está en disposición de dar consentimiento o negarse libremente. Problema con una alta prevalencia, del cual se establecieron los criterios básicos para su tipificación. Así mismo se explican las condiciones para su ocurrencia que de acuerdo al diagnóstico realizado en el municipio de Caldas Antioquia al menos el 3% de los niños y niñas han sido víctimas de alguna forma de abuso sexual. Se presentan los indicadores básicos para una intervención eficaz considerándose la interrelación de los factores de riesgo que incrementan la probabilidad de aparición del abuso y los factores de protección que contribuyen a disminuir o controlar los factores de riesgo en el municipio de Caldas Antioquia reduciéndose la posibilidad del abuso sexual. Finalmente se establecen pautas de prevención en el contexto del fortalecimiento del grado de conocimiento que debe poseer el niño o niña sobre el abuso sexual, en el sentido de control de propiedad de sí mismos, y en la información sobre los recursos de apoyo y protección disponibles. La investigación, centrada principalmente en la identificación de esta problemática, pretende dar cuenta del índice acelerado de crecimiento que ha tenido este flagelo en el municipio en el periodo del 2.006 al 2.010. Además, se muestra información valiosa y actualizada acerca de los factores de riesgo para comprender más a fondo el fenómeno.Sexual Abuse in children has a significant impact in the municipality. It is defined as a kind of child mistreatment in which the adult takes advantage of his/her superiority and the children's confidence; situation that leads to an adverse consequence which is the not comprehension of the situation due to their psychosexual immaturity; consequently, they are not prepared to give or refuse consent freely. The basic criteria for its classification were established thanks to its high predominance and also the elucidation of its conditions for their occurrence according to the diagnosis made in the municipality of Caldas, Antioquia. At least 3% the male and female children have been victims of any kind of sexual abuse. Basic marks for an effective intervention are presented in this text; taking into account the interrelationship of the risk factors that increases the probability of abuse episodes and the prevention factors that can help to reduce or control the risk factors in the municipality of Caldas, Antioquia; resulting in the possibility of a sexual abuse reduction. Finally, it is also established the prevention context guidelines for strengthening in the children the level of knowledge they must have about sexual abuse, in order to develop an ownership control sense of themselves, and to know the resources available for supporting and protecting them from this problem. This research, focused primarily on the identification of this problem, seeks to describe the speeded up rate of growth that this scourge has taken in Caldas during 2006 to 2010. Moreover, it is also shown updated and valuable data about risk factors to further understand this phenomenon

The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

The academic community of the department of Risaralda, in its permanent interest in evidencing the results of the research processes that are carried out from the Higher Education Institutions and as a product of the VI meeting of researchers of the department of Risaralda held in November 2021 presents its work: “The journey of research as a challenge towards new trends”, which reflects the result of the latest research and advances in different lines of knowledge in Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology and Information Sciences, which seek to solve and meet the demands of the different sectors.
