    Pengaruh Independensi, Kompetensi, dan Etika Profesi terhadap Profesionalisme Auditor Bpkp Perwakilan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

    There are some factors influencing the auditors professionalism. This study attempts to obtain empirical evidence the influence of independency, competency, and professional ethics auditor professionalism, especially those who are working in BPKP North Sumatera.The population of study is all auditors who worked on the BPKP North Sumatera. Methods of data collection in this study is the method of questionnaire survey using instruments that are delivered directly to the BPKP Representative North Sumatera Province. The Respondents are used in the analysis were 80 respondents (80%) Methods of Analysis is conducted with a multiple regression analysis.The results of testing that has been done.Partial regression test (t test) showed that the auditors independency, competency, and proffesional ethics had a influences towards auditor professionalism. The coefficient of determination in this study was 53,9 %. These four variables affect the dependent variable was 53,9 %, while 46,1 % is influenced by other variables that are not addressed in this study.Keyword: independency, competency, proffesional ethics, and professionalis

    Design LTE microstrip antenna rectangular patch with beetle-shaped slot

    In this paper, the microstrip antenna rectangular patch with beetle shaped slot is presented. The characterization results of the proposed antenna obtained by changing the dimensions of the ground plane. CST software is used to design and analyze this proposed antenna. The simulated results of proposed antenna show that the antenna works at the frequency of 2.1 GHz while the return loss of -32.18 dB with the bandwidth reaches 155.19 MHz and the gain of 3.895 dBi

    Utilization of Agarwood Distillation Waste in Oilwell Cement and Its Effect on Free Water and Porosity

    The intent of this research is to utilize the waste produced by distillation process of Agarwood oil and convert it into a profitable oilwell cement additive. Common problem during oilwell cementing is free wáter separation. This problem could weaken cement at the top, gas migration problem and non uniform density of cement slurry that are even worst in cementing deviated well. Another concern on cementing design is the porosity of the hardened cement. If the cement is too porous, it can lead to gas migration and casing corrosion. All tests were conducted according to API Specification-10B. Free water test was determined at different concentrations of Agarwood Waste Additive (AWA), different inclination angles and different temperatures. Based on the findings, it was observed that zero free water was produced when 2% BWOC of AWA was used at all angles. The findings also revealed that AWA can maintain good thermal stability as it could maintain zero free water at increased temperature up to 60˚C. The porosity of AWA cement was comparable with standard API neat cement as the porosity did not differ much at 2% BWOC of AWA. Therefore, it can be concluded that the AWA is suitable to be used as an additive in oil well cement (OWC) with 2% BWOC is taken as the optimum concentration

    Photoreactive carbon dots modified g-C3N4 for effective photooxidation of bisphenol-A under visible light irradiation

    A series of carbon dots (CDs) modified g-C3N4 (xCDs/g-C3N4; x = 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 mL CDs solution) was synthesized via the microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis method for the photooxidation of bisphenol-A (BPA) under visible light irradiation. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicates that the CDs may have a turbostratic structure and the resulting photocatalysts have distorted crystal structure, as compared with pure g-C3N4. The high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM) analysis revealed amorphous, mono-disperse, spherical CDs with an average particle size of 3.75 nm. The distribution of CDs within the matrix of g-C3N4 appear as small dark dot-like domains. The N2 adsorption-desorption analysis indicates that the nanocomposites are mesoporous with a density functional theory (DFT) estimate of the pore size distribution between 2–13 nm. The CDs quantum yield (QY) was determined to be 12% using the UV-vis spectral analysis, where the CDs/g-C3N4 has improved absorption in the visible region than g-C3N4. The higher BET surface area of CDs/g-C3N4 provided more adsorption sites and the ability to yield photogenerated e−/h+ pairs, which caused the 1.5 CDs/g-C3N4 to have better photocatalytic efficiency compared to the rest of the systems. The highest removal, 90%, was achieved at the following optimum conditions: BPA initial concentration = 20 mg L−1, catalyst dosage = 30 mg L−1, and pH = 10. The photooxidation process is mainly driven by photogenerated holes (h+) followed by •OH and O2•−. The synthesis of the 1.5 CDs/g-C3N4 system is simple and cost-effective, where this photocatalyst is highly stable and reusable versus other systems reported in the literature

However, it was not investigated whether HVETL affect bone metabolism, oxidative stress, and the prevalence of thyroid nodule.Methods: Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) bone density measurements, serum free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4), RANK, RANKL, osteoprotegerin (OPG), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), phosphor, total antioxidant status (TAS), total oxidant status (TOS), and oxidative stress index (OSI) levels were analyzed to investigate this effect.Results: Bone mineral density levels of L1–L4 vertebrae and femur were observed significantly lower in the electrical workers. ALP, phosphor, RANK, RANKL, TOS, OSI, and anteroposterior diameter of the left thyroid lobe levels were significantly higher, and OPG, TAS, and FT4 levels were detected significantly lower in the study group when compared with the control group.Conclusion: Consequently, it was observed that the balance between construction and destruction in the bone metabolism of the electrical workers who were employed in HVETL replaced toward destruction and led to a decrease in OPG levels and an increase in RANK and RANKL levels. In line with the previous studies, long-term exposure to an electromagnetic field causes disorders in many organs and systems. Thus, it is considered that long-term exposure to an electromagnetic field affects bone and thyroid metabolism and also increases OSI by increasing the TOS and decreasing the antioxidant status. At day 30, groups B and C showed no statistically significant difference (P>0.05) compared to group A, but bone healing in group D was significantly better than in group A (P<0.05). Statistically, AML did not affect alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity at 21 and 30 days (P>0.05), but PRP and AML + PRP increased ALP activity statistically (P<0.05).Conclusion: It can be concluded that AML had neither a positive nor a negative effect on bone healing, but when used in combination with PRP, it may be beneficial.Keywords: amlodipine, calcium channel blockers, platelet-rich plasma, bone mineral metabolism, hypertensio
