Return of Politics

This paper discusses the material conditions involved in the “return” of problematization and political mobilization based on the assumptions of social justice and democratic socialism in the 21st century in relation to the evolutionary and self-regulatory character of markets. In the midst of these conditions, we highlight the 2008 world financial crisis, which was directly intervened by the US Federal Reserve, whose action can be interpreted as a learning of financial capitalism in relation to its own history, specifically in relation to the financial crisis. 1929. However, it is postulated that this learning can be understood as a reversal of the revolutionary march and not exactly a revolution. The core of this inversion is marked by the incompleteness of these remedial measures, which implies the reopening of the horizon for political action through movements such as Occupy Wall Street, the uprising of the left-wing government of Greece and even the discussion in the American press about taxation of billionaires.Keywords: Politics. Story.Retorno da Política RESUMO:O presente texto discute as condições materiais envolvidas no “retorno” da problematização e da mobilização política com base nos pressupostos da justiça social e do socialismo democrático no século XXI em relação ao caráter evolutivo e auto-regulatório dos mercados. Em meio a essas condições, destaca-se a crise financeira mundial de 2008, a qual sofreu intervenção direta do Federal Reserve americano, cuja ação pode ser interpretada como um aprendizado do capitalismo financeiro em relação à sua própria história, especificamente em relação à crise de 1929. Todavia, postula-se que esse aprendizado possa ser compreendido como uma inversão da marcha revolucionária e não propriamente uma revolução. O núcleo dessa inversão é marcado pela incompletude dessas medidas saneadoras, o que implica na reabertura de horizonte para a ação política através de movimentos como o Occupy Wall Street, o levante do governo de esquerda da Grécia e até mesmo a discussão na imprensa americana sobre a tributação dos bilionários.      Palavras-chave: Política. Marxism and evolution: a defense to the reassumption of a research program

As theories of society the theory of Marx is evolutionary theory. Marx distinguishes the historical evolution of class-struggles from the evolutionary logic of the capitalist system. However, he does not draw a clear distinction between work and interaction. Therefore, he tends to subsume class-struggle under the logic of capital. Although Marx explains all great revolutions as legal revolutions, the priority of the economy prevents him to understand the fundamental role of law for the evolution of modern society. Although Marx has seen rightly the internal relation of functional differentiation and class-formation, he tends to reduce functional differentiation to the economy. Although Marx describes modern society as a society of world markets, world literature, and world revolutions, he lacks a concept of world society, and he still maintains a Eurocentric perspective on the world. If we correct these faults, Marxism still is the best theory to explain the social evolution in the light of practical change.Assim como a maioria das teorias das ciências sociais, a teoria de Marx é uma teoria da evolução. Marx distingue a evolução histórica relativa às lutas de classes da lógica evolucionária do sistema capitalista. Contudo, ele não traça uma distinção clara entre trabalho e interação: tende, assim, a subordinar a luta de classes à lógica do capital. Apesar de explicar as grandes revoluções como revoluções jurídicas, o precedente conceitual para o primado da economia impede que ele compreenda corretamente o papel fundamental do direito para a evolução da sociedade moderna. Embora Marx tenha reconhecido corretamente o nexo interno de diferenciação funcional e formação de classe, ele tende a reduzir tal nexo ao subsistema econômico; embora descreva a sociedade moderna como uma sociedade do mercado mundial, da literatura universal e das revoluções mundiais, ele carece de um conceito de sociedade mundial e mantém ainda uma perspectiva eurocêntrica do mundo. Se corrigirmos esses equívocos, o marxismo ainda é a melhor teoria para esclarecer a evolução social à luz de mudanças práticas

The European Union today finds itself in the midst of its greatest crisis. The crisis is due not only to one of the greatest breakdowns in the history of the global economy, but also to the fascinating internal evolution of the European constitution since its beginning, shortly after World War II.
