Job Burnout Among Hotel Employees: The Impact on OCB and Employee Performance
The company success is determined by employee performance. To ensure that the employee able to deliver their best performance, the company must pay attention on various factors, for instance: job burnout. Job burnout often occurs among hotel employees. Hotels must operate resourcefully to deliver good quality service continuously. The tasks at the hotel are very demanding, and the work environment is stressful. Every employee is forced to be able to work multitasking rapidly and skillfully so that the hotel can operate effectively and efficiently.
The research objective is to determine the impact of job burnout on employee performance by using Organizational Citizenship Behavior as an intervening variable for hotel employees. In this quantitative research, a survey was conducted on 120 employees who worked in a number of two-star hotels in Surabaya. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained was processed using the Partial Least Square analysis technique. The research results show that job burnout can significantly disrupt employee performance and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Meanwhile, Organizational Citizenship Behavior can significantly improve employee performance. Organizational citizenship behavior has also been proven to be able to act as a mediating variable in the relationship between job burnout and employee performance
The profile of millennial generation employee: We do have loyalty
With the growing dominance of the millennials in the work places, companies must understand that this generation has a different mindset, values, and views compared to previous generations. The shift in the workforce will also bring major changes to the mindset and culture of the company. One of these shifts is in understanding the employee loyalty. Companies need to understand the views of millennial employees on loyalty from.the perspective of their demographic characteristics. This study aimed to conduct profiling of millennial employees in terms of demographics and employee loyalty. The study used a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 201 millennial generation employees. The data were processed using crosstabulation to obtain the distribution of demographic characteristics in various indicators of employee loyalty.The results showed that there are several indicators of employee loyalty that stand out in certain demographic characteristics
THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IDENTIFICATION: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY AMONG UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS IN INDONESIA
This study aims to analyse the effects of network, self-efficacy, and creativity on the identification of business opportunities for undergraduate students in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative methods with the number of respondent as many as 396 undergraduate students determined by using purposive sampling. The research data was collected using an online questionnaire and processed using partial least square analysis technique. The results showed that the network and self-efficacy owned by the undergraduate students in Indonesia influence the creativity and identification of business opportunities. Customer Willingness to Pay Aplikasi Musik Joox Reguler Di Indonesia
Penelitian ini menguji peran attitude toward paying bersama-sama dengan subjective normdan perceived behavioral controlterhadap customer willingness to pay pengguna aplikasi musik Joox di Indonesia. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner pada 394 responden, lalu diolah menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perceived benefit, perceived sacrifice, dan free mentality berpengaruh terhadap attitude toward paying. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa attitude toward paying, subjective norm, dan perceived behavioral control membentuk kesedian konsumen untuk membayar aplikasi music Joox
Faktor Demografis dan Motivasi Berwirausaha Di Kalangan Generasi Milenial Indonesia
The purpose of this research is to comprehend connection between demographic factors and entrepreneurial motivation of millennial generation in Indonesia. This quantitative research used millennial generation (birth year 1980-2000) in Indonesia as the research population. Using purposive sampling technique, this study obtained total sample of 319 respondents. The data analysis technique used is chi-square. The results showed that there were several demographic factors related to entrepreneurial motivation, namely: gender, age group, marital status, education level, family background, and economic background. With the results of this study, policy makers can pay more attention to demographic backgrounds in developing entrepreneurial programs among the millennial generation. The placement of entrepreneurship programs in the millennial generation group who have a strong entrepreneurial motivation is expected to increase the success rate of the program
Building Employee Engagement While Working from Home
Introduction/Main Objectives: The COVID pandemic has transformed various aspects of peoples lives, including work. Work-from-home (WFH) system has been known long before the pandemic. During the pandemic, this WFH system has become a requirement for many companies. Both companies and employees must adapt to run WFH effectively, not only in terms of technology but also in terms of social interaction. The WFH system is perceived as cutting off social interaction among employees. Support and interaction from superiors and colleagues that used to be done physically, now have to be done online. How companies can maintain engagement among employees while working from home is a challenge in itself. Now that the pandemic has passed, many employees still want to work from home. Companies need to consider their ability to maintain employee engagement during WFH. Background Problems: Many previous studies have explained that employee engagement can be formed from perceived organizational support. When the company is considered to provide full support for employees, organizational citizenship behavior will be formed. With this behavior, fellow employees will feel more comfortable and eager to contribute to the success of the company. Novelty: Previous research generally examined the topic of employee engagement in employees who work in the office. Prior studies examining how to build engagement among employees who work from home are still limited. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship behavior affect employee engagement in employees who implement the WFH system. Research Methods: This study surveyed 120 employees who were accustomed to using the work-from-office (WFO) system but switched to using the WFH system. The data was processed using Partial Least Square (PLS). Finding/Results: The results of this study indicate that perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship behavior affect employee engagement. The support provided by an organization to employees will form a good perception among employees so that employees will feel more eager to contribute to the success of an organization. Conclusion: The results of this study can be considered by companies when continue to implement the WFH system even though the pandemic has passed

The use of digital technology has become a demand for business people, including MSMEs. Various applications of social media are available to support business activities at a very affordable cost. However, the number of MSME actors using social media to market their products is still low. This community service activity provides understanding and assistance regarding social media usage as a marketing tool to MSME actors, especially MSME actors in Jambangan Village, Jambangan District, Surabaya. This activity received a positive response from SMEs. From this activity, MSME actors become more confident and motivated to use social media in their business and gain new knowledge and skills regarding ways, tricks, and tips for using social media as a marketing tool.

KNOWLEDGE SHARING DAN JOB PERFORMANCE : PERAN MEDIASI INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR
Penelitian ini hendak membuktikan bahwa knowledge sharing memengaruhi job performance dan innovative work behavior berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan tersebut. Penelitian eksplanatori ini menjelaskan pengaruh antar variabel melalui pengujian hipotesis. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 188 karyawan PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk, yang ditentukan dengan Teknik convenience sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan program Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan knowledge sharing pada innovative work behavior. Knowledge sharing berpengaruh signifikan pada job performance. Innovative work behavior berpengaruh signifikan pada job performance. Selanjutnya, ditemukan innovative work behavior secara signifikan berperan sebagai mediator hubungan antara knowledge sharing dan job performance
