    Bali Strait is water territory located between Java Island and Bali Island where Sardinella is the the main commodity. Because of its location which influenced by Java Sea and Indian Ocean, it causes this area to have lots of nutrient for fish food source.As the technology advances, so to determine the Bali Strait in this using remote sensing method to process the captured image for information Modis Aqua Sea Surface Temperature and Chlorophyll-a as a parameter Sardinella abundance of fish in the Bali Strait sotfware processed using ENVI, ER Mapper , and ArcGIS 10. The aim of this research is to know the correlation between the catch result of Sardinella and the Sea Level Surface temperature in Bali Strait from 2011 to 2013.The result of this research shows that during those three years the catch result of Sardinella has been increased fluctuating with the peak average is occurred during the west monsoon (November-April) In 2011 the highest production of Sardinella was occurred in November as 752 470 kg, in 2013 the highest production occurred in October as up to 2,120,447 kg. From the single regression analysis between Sardinella catching with Seal level Surface Temperature and Sardinella catching with A-chlorophyll obtained regression mark in west monsoon is greater than east monsoon means Sardinella is bigger in the west monsoon in Bali Strait. Whereas, the double regression mark between the Sardinella catching result with of sea surface level temperature and A-chlorophyll shows that there is relationship between the amount of Sardinella catching with the sea surface level temperature and A-chlorophyll

    Design and Implementation for optical fiber communication system using frequency shift coding

    In this research, optical communication coding systems are designed and constructed by utilizing Frequency Shift Code (FSC) technique. Calculations of the system quality represented by signal to noise ratio (S/N), Bit Error Rate (BER),and Power budget are done. In FSC system, the data of Nonreturn- to–zero (NRZ ) with bit rate at 190 kb/s was entered into FSC encoder circuit in transmitter unit. This data modulates the laser source HFCT-5205 with wavelength at 1310 nm by Intensity Modulation (IM) method, then this data is transferred through Single Mode (SM) optical fiber. The recovery of the NRZ is achieved using decoder circuit in receiver unit. The calculations of BER and S/N for FSC system at maximum fiber length at 61.2 km equal to 2.30551×10-12, 47.88526 dB respectively. The power budget for FSC system was calculated to be 29 dB. Results show that the BER increases when the received optical power decreases the due to increase of the optical fiber length61.2 km. while S/N decreases. The optical power budget increases as the transmitted optical power increases

    Penelitian ini mengusulkan tentang desain baru dari ontologi untuk tanaman obat Indonesia berdasarkan konsep morfologi. Morfologi adalah studi yang mempelajari tentang karakteristik tumbuhan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan morfologi sebagai konsep pengetahuan. Ontologi merupakan model pengetahuan yang mendefinisikan hubungan dan klasifikasi dari beberapa konsep dalam domain tertentu. Resource description framework (RDF) dan web ontology language (OWL) digunakan dalam merepresentasikan ontologi. SPARQL protocol and RDF query language (SPARQL) digunakan untuk query data. Protégé 4.3 digunakan untuk memodelkan ontologi tanaman obat. Hasil dari pemodelan ontologi tumbuhan obat dapat diterapkan ke sistem semantik web tanaman obat Indonesia

    Perbanyakan Vegetatif Mahoni (Swietenia Macrophylla King) Dengan Cara Stek Pucuk

    Penanaman mahoni terancam oleh serangan hama penggerek pucuk Hypsipyla robusta, sehingga pencarian mahoni yang memiliki sifat resisten menjadi prioritas dalam pengembangan mahoni. Seleksi genetik dari populasi mahoni di lapangan yang terbukti memiliki ketahanan terhadap Hypsipila adalah salah satu cara untuk memperoleh pohon unggul mahoni. Perbanyakan bibit dari pohon unggul harus dilakukan secara vegetatif agar anakan memperoleh sifat unggul dari induknya. Pada penelitian ini, perbanyakan vegetatif pada spesies mahoni (Swietenia macrophylla) telah dilakukan dengan cara stek pucuk. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan split plot dalam rancangan acak kelompok dengan petak utama jenis media yang terdiri atas 4 jenis media, anak petak konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh yaitu 3 konsentrasi IBA, dan dikelompokan menjadi 3 kelompok. Bahan stek diambil dari pucuk anakan umur 1 tahun. Keberhasilan stek pucuk dilihat dari parameter persentase berakar, jumlah akar, panjang akar, panjang tunas, biomassa akar, dan biomassa pucuk. Faktor media berpengaruh nyata terhadap proses stek, sedangkan pemberian IBA dengan cara perendaman basal tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata. Persentase berakar tertinggi dihasilkan dari media campuran sabut kelapa+sekam (2:1, v/v) sebesar 93% atau lebih tinggi 16% dibandingkan media kontrol (tanah). Jumlah akar terbanyak dihasilkan dari media arang sekam dan campuran sabut kelapa+sekam (2:1, v/v) sebanyak 4,5 helai atau naik sebesar 47% dibandingkan kontrol. Panjang akar tertinggi dihasilkan oleh kontrol (media tanah) dengan nilai 86 mm. Berdasarkan parameter pertumbuhan stek, media sabut kelapa+sekam (2;1, v/v) merupakan media yang paling optimal untuk stek pucuk mahoni

    Teachers' Perspectives on ICT Curriculum and Students' Learning Skills

    Objectives: The role of technology in modern life is expanding rapidly. Educational technology has emerged as a crucial component in raising academic achievement worldwide. Teachers all over the world are now focusing on it. Therefore, this study examined the teachers' perspectives on the ICT curriculum and its effect on students' eLearning skills in the UAE. Methods/Analysis: Researchers used a questionnaire to gather the data to learn more about how technology is being used in UAE Model Schools. There were a total of 150 teachers (60 female and 90 male) from three different Abu Dhabi schools included in the study. In addition, the study used descriptive statistics for the analysis. Findings: The study's findings confirmed that teachers at both institutions use technology in the classroom.     Comparison between Direct and Coherent Optical Communication System

    The work in this paper focuses on the system quality of direct and coherent communication system for two computers. A system quality is represented by Signal to Noise ratio (SNR) and Bit Error Rate (BER). First part of the work includes implementation of direct optical fiber communication system and measure the system quality .The second part of the work include implementation both the( homodyne and heterodyne)coherent optical fiber communication system and measure the system quality . Laser diode 1310 nm wavelength with its drive circuit used in the transmitter circuit . A single mode of 62.11 km optical fiber is selected as transmission medium . A PIN photo detector is used in the receiver circuit. The optical D-coupler was used to combine the optical signal that come from transmitter laser source with optical signal of laser local oscillator at 1310/1550 nm to obtain coherent detection . Results show that for direct detection the SNR and the BER (28.5 dB, 9.64x10-8,) respectively, while for homodyne and heterodyne coherent detection , the SNR(94.36,97.71)dB and the BER are (1.32x10-22,2.43x10-23) at maximum optical fiber length at 62.11 km. Results show that the homodyne and heterodyne detection are better than direct detection because the large output SNR and low BER of the received signal

    Here we introduce Protein-indexed Assay of Transposase Accessible Chromatin with sequencing (Pi-ATAC) that combines single-cell chromatin and proteomic profiling. In conjunction with DNA transposition, the levels of multiple cell surface or intracellular protein epitopes are recorded by index flow cytometry and positions in arrayed microwells, and then subject to molecular barcoding for subsequent pooled analysis. Pi-ATAC simultaneously identifies the epigenomic and proteomic heterogeneity in individual cells. Pi-ATAC reveals a casual link between transcription factor abundance and DNA motif access, and deconvolute cell types and states in the tumor microenvironment in vivo. We identify a dominant role for hypoxia, marked by HIF1α protein, in the tumor microvenvironment for shaping the regulome in a subset of epithelial tumor cells
