The problems were found in the Waitina village have a research concerning with public participation in the Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (posyandu) that is the facilities required by health workers so that the service less so fulfilling for the more especially for toddlers and pregnant mothers. Program that should run well or effective finally not in accordance with what is expected, and communities still have not too knowing benefit and importance of posyandu for toddlers and mothers pregnant. At first programs Posyandu carried out by the specific health to toddlers and pregnant mothers less is on good cooperation. It means, the community was not care with these programs, they are more inclined to silence at home rather than go to the PUSKESMAS join the programs Posyandu carried out by the health, but through socialization by Posyandu officers slowly but surely there has been a change in the community because of right now the were very excited about Posyandu programs

The coaching program is one of the programs run by the State DetentionBranch Selatpanjang.. Instructor coaching program at Branch Selatpanjang usinginstructional communication in which there are several methods. One of theclasses in the coaching program at Rutan Selatpanjang branch is a handicraftclass that is able to utilize secondhand goods to be made into works such asminiature, souvenir and selling price. The community around even tourists areinterested to buy the craft. For now, the work of Batan Selatpanjang Branchresidents has come to areas such as Bengkalis, Dumai, Pekanbaru and evenabroad such as Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea. The purpose of thisresearch is to know the method, the media as well as the instructor instructionalcommunication barrier in the craft class guidance program at the Branch ofSelatpanjang Prison. This research uses qualitative research method. The research wasconducted at the Branch of Detention House of State Selatpanjang of TanjungMayat Village, Tebing Tinggi, Meranti Island district, Riau Province. Selection ofinfroman done by purposive technique. Data collection techniques used duringconducting research is by way of observation, interview and documentation. While the validity of data that researchers use is to extend the participation, triangulation and reference adequacy. The results showed that instructional instruction method used byinstructor in handicraft class of Branch Selatpanjang is using command method,practice/practice method, and question and answer method. While theinstructional communication media used by the instructor in the form of visualmedia such as drawings and whiteboard and media aids. Meanwhile, the barrierof instructional communication that occurred in the handicraft class of BranchSelatpanjang is in the form of obstacles to the technical media as well as theobstacle coming from the psychological communicant

9-Methoxycanthin-6-one compound has been isolated from Pasak Bumi (E. Longifolia) roots. The isolation process using maseration, colum chromatography vacuum, and recrystallization techniques. E. Longifolia root maserated with n-hexane and methanol respectively. The methanol extract fractionated using column chromatography vacuum with gradient elution (hexane-etil acetate) to obtain 9 fractions. Fraction 5 further purification using recrystallization technique to obtain yellow crystal, identified by LC-MS and NMR spectroscopy as 9-Methoxycanthin-6-one

Bioactivity of Antibacterial Compounds Produced by Endophytic Actinomycetes From Neesia Altissima

Identification of alternate bioactive compounds isolated from microbial endophytes from plants may lead to better solution against antibiotic resistance. Main objective of this research is to determine the bioactivity of antibacterial compounds produced by endophytic actinomycetes, which was isolated from stem bark of Neesia altissima Bl. at Halimun Salak Mount. Detection of bioactive compounds was assayed using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) by employing bioautography. Bioactivity was assayed using crude extract against five microorganisms using agar diffusion methods. Tetracycline was used as a positive control. The result of antibacterial activity from endophytic actinomycetes isolate revealed that the bioactive compounds were effective in inhibiting the growth of bacteria Bacillus cereus (1.25 mm), Salmonella typhimurium (5.75 mm), and Shigella flexneri (4.37 mm). Bioactivity of ethyl acetate extract from bioactive compounds of endophytic actinomycetes has an antibacterial activity against bacteria Bacillus cereus (13.00 mm) and Staphylococcus aureus (15.90 mm), at a concentration of 250,000 ppm. Each of TLC fraction was able to inhibit growth of B. cereus at a minimum concentration of 10,000 ppm. In conclusion, the bioactive compounds produced by endophytic actinomycetes can have inhibitory effect towards B. cereus. The category of that compounds are narrow spectrum. The bioactive compound isolated from endophytic actinomycetes may have other implications such as anticancer, antifungal, and antioxidant

Experiencing less apprehension and engaging religious communication: The team-based project learning practices

This pre-experimental study aims to explore the efficacy of the Team-based Project (TBP) as a pedagogical approach to enhancing the acquisition of religious communication skills. The TBP was incorporated into a religious education module, addressing pivotal religious inclusivity and moderation themes amongst undergraduate cohorts. Participants were 288 students who participated in a TPB program. Our attention is drawn to the students’ deliberations on TPB activities during the preliminary phase and the initiation, groundwork, execution, and culmination of presenting the project via video. Two salient aspects of the educational outcomes emerged. Firstly, the TBP model proved instrumental in fostering elevated religious communication proficiencies amongst students. Secondly, there was a notable decline in communication apprehension attributable to students’ religious discourse. Such outcomes are intrinsically linked to the TBP's foundational elements of collaboration and dialogue. Furthermore, this investigation underscores the advantages and challenges inherent in employing video-based technological platforms as contemporary pedagogical instruments. Within the scope of this research, we delineate the protocols requisite for the TBP's methodologies to evaluate student accomplishments through an array of formative and summative assessments

Students’ perspectives on religious moderation: A qualitative study into religious literacy processes

Research exploring how students develop their perspectives on religious moderation through reading and understanding the Qur’an is underexplored. This study aims to investigate students’ religious literacy tenet as a process of constructing meaning about religious moderation from the verses of the Qur’an. The participants involved were three students with an excellent ability to read the Qur’an and who had a great interest in the study of the Qur’an. The data were collected through the process of reading the verses of the Qur’an and its textual and contextual translation. The results of this study indicate that students with high translation amendments (adding, removing and replacing words and phrases) tend to have more ability to interpret the verses of the Qur’an widely as a form of verbalisation of thoughts. Contribution: This study provides clarification on student interactions, the interpretation process and the construction of the meaning of the verses of the Qur’an. Furthermore, the results of this study encourage lecturers to reconstruct the process of learning to read the Qur’an at the university level

Qur’anic Ethics for Environmental Responsibility: Implications for Business Practice

Despite the growing interest in examining the role of religious beliefs as a guide towards environmental conscious actions, there is still a lack of research informed by an analysis of divine messages. This deficiency includes the extent to which ethics for environmental responsibility are promoted within textual divine messages; types of environmental themes promoted within the text of divine messages; and implications of such religious environmental ethics for business practice. The present study attempts to fill this gap by conducting a thorough content analysis of environmental themes within the divine message of Muslims (the Qur’an) focusing on their related ethical aspects and business implications. The analysis has revealed 675 verses in 84 chapters throughout all 30 parts of the Qur’an, with environmental content relating to the core components of the natural world, i.e. human beings, water, air, land, plants, animals, and other natural resources. This environmental content and its related ethics are grounded on the belief that humans are vicegerents of God on the earth and their behaviours and actions are motivated by earthly and heavenly rewards. Implications of these findings for different sectors/businesses are also highlighted
