Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi pembangunan sektoral dan regional yang dilakukan pemerintah maupun swasta yang berlangsung secara intensif di daerah pesisir. Untuk itu, diperlukan suatu perangkat untuk memperkirakan kondisi pasang surut perairan dalam mendukung perencanaan suatu bangunan laut.     The purpose of this research was to analyze the implementation of Economic Value Added (EVA) as a tool to measure company’s performance based on the financial report at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk and PT. Indosat, Tbk and also to determine optimal capital structur. The metodh analyze was the financial report of both companies that had been go public The period of measurement of company’s performance was 5 years, from 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 till 2011. The research finding are. (1) EVA of PT. Telkom, Tbk and PT. Indosat, Tbk during research processes is positive in value and indicated decreasing drastically, which this condition are influenced by NOPAT & WACC.     Daerah penelitian dicirikan oleh morfologi dasar laut yang terjal dan bergelombang dengan kedalaman bervariasi dari 40 meter di bagian timur hingga 2150 meter di bagian utara. Berdasarkan data rekaman seismik pantul dapat diidentifikasi adanya struktur geologi berupa sesar, lipatan, dan diapir. Kenampakan struktur-struktur tersebut ditandai dengan adanya lapisan yang patah, bergelombang, dan bentuk Kubah. Sesar umumnya berarah timurlaut-baratdaya, dimana perkembangannya diduga sangat dipengaruhi tektonik regional terutama sesar utama Palu-Koro yang ada di daratan Pulau Sulawesi dan menerus ke laut sekitar lokasi penelitian. Kata kunci: morfologi, struktur geologi, sesar Palu-Koro, Pasangkayu The study area is characterized by the steep sea floor morphology with the depth from 40 metres in the east to 2150 metres in the north. On the basis of reflection seismic records, the geological structures such as faults, folds, and diapirs can be recognized. The appearance of such structures is signed by the faulted, wavy and domed layers. The faults in general have NE –SW direction, where it development possibly influenced by the regional Palu-Koro Fault present in Sulawesi island that continue to the study area.     Isolation and Antibacterial Test of Garlic Oil

    Garlic oil is known to have medicinal effect on hypertension, heart desease, anemia and various infections. The active principles are reported to be allicin, diallil disulfide, allilpropyl disulfide, scorduun, selenium and germanium in addition to the presence of anticoagulant, anuhaemolytic and arulthrombotic agents. The methods applied for isolation and other conditions during the isolation affect the yield or the compositions of the oil, for instance with steam distillation the allicin will decompose whereas extraction at room temperature will yield oil with allicin as the main component. In the present study isolation was conducted by extraction with ethylacetate or ethanol and the oil obtained was tested for their antibacterial capacity. Tests against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus and Escherichia coli indicated that the isolated oil were active. On the other hand, commercial garlic extract (KGE) and garlic oil capsule (GOC) gave negative test. This may have been due to either insufficient concentration. of the biologically active component present in the commercial drugs or different method of extraction process. investigation with thin layer chromatography (TLC) of the drugs On silica gel plate ustngn-hexane and ethyl acetate as eluents showed six components in the GOC and none in KGE whereas for the isolated oil 13 components were identified with iodine vapour. Although the oils indicated antibacterial activity, it is somehow less active compared with oxytetracycline which is used as reference

    A preliiminary study was carried out to isolate theconstituents of the stem bark of Garcinia tetran dra Pierre(Guttiferae). Several species of this family had been known asmedicinal herb, some other contain bioactive constituents andnovel compounds. The isolation were carried out by macerationin n-hexane where crude extract was purified usingchromatographic technique on SIG60 coloumn and n- hexane ethylacetate as eluents by gradient. Two pure compunds werefound and their molecular structures were determined on thebasis of combined spectroscopic methods UV, IR, 1H-NMR, l3C-NmR and MS and comparison with literature.     Pendangkalan Alur Pelayaran di Pelabuhan Pulau Baai Bengkulu

    Alur pelayaran di Pelabuhan Pulau Baai Bengkulu selalu mengalami pendangkalan. Untuk mengetahui penyebab pendangkalan tersebut maka akan diberikan beberapa informasi hasil kajian geofisika kelautan dari beberapa metoda. Metoda tersebut terdiri dari pengukuran kedalaman laut, pengukuran arus dan pasang surut. Hasil pengukuran kedalaman laut memperlihatkan bahwa kedalaman yang paling dalam di bagian kolam pelabuhan adalah sekitar 12 meter dan yang terdalam di daerah alur juga 12 meter. Pengukuran arus laut memperlihatkan bahwa kecepatan arus pada saat pasang tertinggi lebih tinggi daripada kecepatan arus pada saat surut terendah. Pengendapan lebih besar terjadi pada saat air pasang, apalagi ditambah dengan adanya arus sepanjang pantai yang membawa sedimen ke arah alur. Tipe pasang surut laut di pelabuhan ini adalah tipe campuran ganda, artinya pasang dan surut akan terjadi sekali atau dua kali dalam sehari. Adapun perbedaan tinggi muka air pada saat air pasang dan saat air surut adalah 1,53 meter. Shoaling always occurs in the sailing channel of Pulau Baai Bengkulu Harbour. To know the reason of the shoaling, some information based on the result, of the analysis of several methods of marine geophysical survey are therefore presented. The methods are echo-sounding, sea current and tide measurement. Result of sounding shows that the deepest depth in the lagoon area is around 12 metres and the depth in the channel area is also 12 metres. Result of sea current measurement shows that current velocity during the spring tide is higher than the velocity during the neap tide. Sedimentation is higher in the spring tide, moreover it is increased by the existence of long shore current which transport the sediments into the channel. The type of the sea tide in the harbour is a mixed semi diurnal type which means that the spring and the neap will occur once or twice a day. The height of sea water level difference between spring tide and neap tide season is 1.53 metres

    . Course scheduling is considered as a complex matter because the generated schedule must guarantee that there are no clashes of classes, lecturers, and students’ schedules. At Ma Chung University, course scheduling is still accomplished manually. Due to the limited number of rooms and lecturers r, resource sharing system is applied. This causes complication in manual scheduling. Firefly algorithm is implemented in this application to schedule the course automatically. A schedule solution is represented as a firefly. Firefly with lower light intensity will move toward firefly with higher light intensity, so that a better solution is found. Based on a scheduling test, the best light intensity value of firefly is reached when firefly algorithm’s parameters, β0 and γ, are given 1 and 10 with light intensity value of 0,0003831

American option sifatnya dapat diexercise sewaktu-waktu mulai dari penandatanganan kontrak sampai jatuh tempo. Melakukan exercise pada saat optimal adalah stategi yang dilakukan holder untuk mendapatkan keuntungan yang maksimal, namun waktu yang tepat untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal tersebut belum diketahui (free boundary-value problem). Penentuan harga optimal American option berdasarkan free boundary-value problem dilakukan pendiskritan persamaan Black-Scholes menggunakan metode Beda Hingga Fully Implisit dan Crank-Nicolson.
