This study was conducted in January 2016 in the village of Lubuk Puding in the District of Buru Karimun Riau Islands Province. The objective of this study was to determine the characteristics of fishing grantees, to determine changes in fishing livelihoods after receiving the grant, and to determine the relationship characteristic of changes, livelihoods and grants program. The method used in this study was survey of 160 grantees fishermen population, in which this study taken as much as 15% of the 160 populations or 24 peoples.Based on the research result, the characteristics of grant recipient are productive fishermenage, low education and the number of family member of fishermen. The livelihood of fishermen grant recipients changed from the preparatory stage to the growth stage, while in food consumption and employment on a fixed income and sanitation and hygiene unchanged. Characteristics with real changes in the livelihoods of fishermen are age which have relationship with income and with the job opportunities, the number of family member has relationship with food consumption and grant, and food consumption have relationships with the grant

The research was conducted in June-July 2014 on Koto Masjid Village and marketing spots of catfish processed product. This research aims to determine the marketing condition and the effective marketing strategies to support catfish processed bussines. The method used was a case study with respondent taking by sensus as many as 6 people catfish processors and by purposive sampling as many as 8 people from marketing participant population.Marketing strategy of catfish product are indentified into three main strategies: 1) market segmentation based on geographic factors include internal and externalsegments in Riau Province, 2) targeting, includes all segments of market (Full Market Coverage), and 3) Positioning, is where a supplier trying to meet the demand for the product catfish on each segment and figure the image to consumer, that the Kto Masjid Catfish Product has good taste made by fresh catfish. Based on the SWOT analysis, there are three strategies that can be implemented based on rating, such as 1) ST1: improving quality and price of the products processed catfish to avoid competition among processors, 2) WT2: the presence of institutions such as cooperative marketing to accomodate catfish processed, and 3) WO2: pursuing the procurement of modern fish processing tools to improve product quality catfish

This study was conducted to determine how much revenue drift fishing with gill nets in a year (travel). This research was conducted on four until ten January 2016 Pasar II Natal village Mandailing Natal district of North Sumatra province. The method used survey method of respondents 12 fisherman owner. The total investment of the owner of the fishing effort of Rp. 295,922,583.00, the average gross income of fishing effort is Rp. 402,049,500.00, the average net income of the arrest of fishing effort each year is Rp. 313,837,083.00. To get the results of the feasibility analysis on a profit of Rp. 313,837,083.00 per year (about 72), so that the profit per trip from catching 4.358.848, this advantage will be longer with the workers, so the owner can profit 2,179,424 per trip and BCR 4.56, FRR 106.05 %, 0.91 PPC period. Obstacles Drift gillnet to develop a fishing business in Pasar II Natal Village is influenced by various factors such as the length of the gear, operating costs, the number of working days, the weather and the season

Quinoxaline derivatives with the molecular formula C8H6N2] also named benzopyrazines, which are a valuable class of heterocyclic compounds useful for their numerous industrial and pharmaceutical applications. The new isoxazolquinoxalin (IZQ) 3-pheny1-14(3-(p-toly1)-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-5yl)methyl)quinoxalin-2(1H)- one (5) has been synthesized with good yield by stirring the compounds of 1-allyl-3-phenylquinoxalin-2(1H)-one (3, 3.8mmol), and (E)-4 methylbenzaldehydeoxime (4, 1.3mmol) in 20 ml of chloroform. The aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite (10 ml of water bleach 12 degrees) was added drop wise using bromine funnel. The mixture was stirring at 0 degrees C temperature for 6 hours. Then it dried to obtain a crude product which on recrystallization with ethanol afforded the title compound (5) as colourless rectangular block shape crystals, and then confirmed by H NMR, LC-MS spectra. The structure of the compound has been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction technique. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system with the space group P2(1)/c. The unit cell constants; a =15.9437(6) angstrom, b =16.3936(6) angstrom, c =7.4913(3) angstrom, and beta =94.178(2)degrees. DFT calculations were carried out and HOMO-LUMO energy levels have been determined. In the structure, both Intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen bonds of the type C-H center dot center dot center dot O were observed along with C-H center dot center dot center dot cg interactions. Hirshfeld surface studies were performed to understand the different interaction contacts of the molecule and the molecular packing strength of the crystal. Energy frameworks were constructed through different intermolecular interaction energies to investigate the stability of the compound and to know type of the dominate energy. Docking studies predicted anti-cancer activity of the title molecule against homo sapiens protein (pdb code:6HVH) and exhibited prominent interactions at active site region. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V. Inclusive and multiplicity dependent production of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in pp and p-Pb collisions

Measurements of the production of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in pp collisions at root s = 13 TeV at midrapidity with the ALICE detector are presented down to a transverse momentum (p(T)) of 0.2 GeV/c and up to p(T) = 35 GeV/c, which is the largest momentum range probed for inclusive electron measurements in ALICE. In p-Pb collisions, the production cross section and the nuclear modification factor of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays are measured in the p(T) range 0.5 < p(T) < 26 GeV/c at root s(NN) = 8.16 TeV. The nuclear modification factor is found to be consistent with unity within the statistical and systematic uncertainties. In both collision systems, first measurements of the yields of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays in different multiplicity intervals normalised to the multiplicity-integrated yield (self-normalised yield) at midrapidity are reported as a function of the self-normalised charged-particle multiplicity estimated at midrapidity. The self-normalised yields in pp and p-Pb collisions grow faster than linear with the self-normalised multiplicity. A strong p(T) dependence is observed in pp collisions, where the yield of high-p(T) electrons increases faster as a function of multiplicity than the one of low-p(T) electrons. The measurement in p-Pb collisions shows no p(T) dependence within uncertainties. The self-normalised yields in pp and p-Pb collisions are compared with measurements of other heavy-flavour, light-flavour, and strange particles, and with Monte Carlo simulations

Measurement of the non-prompt D-meson fraction as a function of multiplicity in proton-proton collisions at s \sqrt{s} = 13 TeV

The fractions of non-prompt (i.e. originating from beauty-hadron decays) D0 and D+ mesons with respect to the inclusive yield are measured as a function of the charged-particle multiplicity in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of √s = 13 TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The results are reported in intervals of transverse momentum (pT) and integrated in the range 1 < pT < 24 GeV/c. The fraction of non-prompt D0 and D+ mesons is found to increase slightly as a function of pT in all the measured multiplicity intervals, while no significant dependence on the charged- particle multiplicity is observed. In order to investigate the production and hadronisation mechanisms of charm and beauty quarks, the results are compared to PYTHIA 8 as well as EPOS 3 and EPOS 4 Monte Carlo simulations, and to calculations based on the colour glass condensate including three-pomeron fusion
