    Students who demand lessons at school have hope for reaching a good achievement. One indicator of the effort to encourage students to get high achievement, namely the support of the people at school, in this case the school counselor. This study aims to determine students' assessment of the activities of school counselor in improving student achievement in high school. Data were collected by using survey to 80 students as research subjects. Data analysis was done by simple descriptive technique. School counselor activities in improving student achievement in terms of role to (1) educate the use of student time, and (2) encourage students to improve learning achievement. The conclusion of this study is that students' assessment of school counselor activities in improving student achievement in SMA Bogor is still not good. It takes extra efforts from school counselor to increase their activities in encouraging students to achieve high learning achievement

    This article discusses the very popular hadith in muslims community, namely Al-Jannatu taḥta aqdām al-Ummahāti (paradise is beneath mother’s feet). Its chain of transmitters ( sanad) is criticized and its text (matn) is contextualized. After takhrij studying, several similar-theme hadiths are found with the different quality of transmitters ( sanad). The hadith al-Jannatu had weak sanad (ḍaīf) but it has high hujjah, so this hadith can still be the hujjahsyar’iyyah. Contextually, the hadith al-jannatu used to be the argument for the children to obey to their mother. But this hadiths vise versa can be the imperative for parents to play their role in succeeding their children. In addition, the hadith can be contextualized as the imperatuive for government of leaders to play their role in succeeding and walfaring their peoples or those who are led. Artikel ini membahas hadis yang sangat populer di masyarakat, yakni hadis Al-Jannatu taḥta aqdām al-Ummahāti (Surga berada di bawah telapak kaki ibu) dari sisi kualitas sanad dan kontektualisasi pemaknaan matannya. Setelah dilakukan studi takhrij hadis, ternyata ada sejumlah hadis yang semakna dengan hadis tersebut, dengan kualitas sanad hadis yang beragam. Sanad hadis al-jannatu lemah atau ḍaīf dengan status marfū'’ yakni memiliki strata kehujjahan yang tinggi, sehingga bisa dijadikan hujjah syar’iyyah. Secara kontekstual, hadis al-jannatu yang biasanya digunakan untuk dalil agar anak-anak taat kepada seorang ibu, bisa dikontekstualisasikan tidak hanya itu. Hadis ini justru menjadi perintah bagi orang tua untuk berperan dalam mendidik anak-anaknya menuju kesuksesan. Hadis ini juga bisa dikontekstualisasikan sebagai dalil bagi pemerintah/pemimpin untuk berperan demi kesuksesan rakyatnya/mereka yang dipimpin.     Character education consists of two words namely education and character. The meaning of character education according to Islam is a conscious effort made by educators to students to shape the personality of students who teach and shape morals, ethics, and a good sense of culture and noble character that foster students' ability to make good and bad decisions and realize goodness that in everyday life by means of education, teaching, guidance and training which is guided by the Qur’an and as-Sunna. The basis of character education in Islam is the Qur’an the character of the Prophet Muhammad. Character education is very important at this time because character will show who we really are, character will determine how someone makes decisions, character determines attitudes, words, and actions of someone, people who have good character, then the words and deeds will also be good, so all it will become a unified identity and personalize itself, making it easy to distinguish from other identities. The purpose of character education is to form a person of noble character because the noble character is the base of goodness. People of good character will soon leave goodness and leave badness.     The Transition and Transformation process to become an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Therapist. A study using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis

    Abstract Background Too many practitioners leave Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) services roles and this puts IAPT services at risk. In the context of increasing access to IAPT services, this creates a deficit that can impact patient care. Therefore, ways to improve work satisfaction and role adjustment may help people to transition more effectively. There is a commitment in England to expand the IAPT services so that 1.9 million adults with mental health problems can access treatment every year by 2023/2024. This requires the recruitment of 4500 new therapists by 2021 and an extra 6000 by 2024. However, IAPT services are struggling to recruit and retain its workforce. Therefore, investigating what may improve recruitment and retention is essential. This includes examining the support needed with role transition for IAPT practitioners. This study investigated the lived experience of psychotherapists who transition to working as High-Intensity Therapists in IAPT services. Method The theoretical framework for this inductive qualitative inquiry was Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis. Seven non-IAPT qualified psychotherapists transitioned to IAPT services participated in audio-recorded semi-structured interviews. Interviews were transcribed and a case-by-case idiographic analysis was undertaken. This process was followed by a cross-case analysis. XIV Findings Four super-ordinate themes were identified through the IPA process ‘Transition’ highlighted participants’ experiences in their early phase of moving to the IAPT services. ‘Learning the ropes’ emphasised participants’ endeavour to understand and make sense of IAPT. The super-ordinate theme ‘Adjustment’ described the changes participants made to adapt to the new IAPT role and position themselves in the new system. ‘Transformation’ described the participants’ cognitive and emotional evolution while transitioning to the IAPT system. Conclusion This study provides a detailed, phenomenological account of the lived experience of the transition of seven non- IAPT qualified psychotherapists to IAPT services. Transition to IAPT services for this group of therapists presents unique challenges that employers might consider in attracting and retaining experienced therapists. New insights were developed that can inform not only IAPT services but also other mental health services. The role of the organisation in facilitating the transition to IAPT services was explored specifically for experienced therapists. New avenues for future research were also identified, such as empirical studies into IAPT managers’ challenges in IAPT with its fast expansion and how they could support newcomers to IAPT

    Analisis pendapat Ibnu Qudamah tentang syarat dhaman pada akad mudharabah dalam kitab Al-Mughni

    Mudharib adalah orang yang diberi kepercayaan untuk mengelola harta mudharabah. Mudharib tidak bertanggung jawab atas kerusakan atau kekurangan kecuali jika disebabkan oleh keteledoran dan tindakan yang melampaui batas. Para fuqaha’ berbeda pendapat mengenai salah satu syarat dalam mudharabah yaitu tentang dhaman yakni syarat menanggung modal atau kerugian. Menurut Imam Syafi’i (w. 204 H), adanya syarat tersebut bisa mengakibatkan akad mudharabah menjadi tidak sah. Karena watak dari akad mudharabah adalah mudharib hanya orang yang diberi kepecayaan untuk mengelola harta. Sedangkan, Ibnu Qudamah (w. 620 H) berpendapat bahwa apabila pemilik modal mensyaratkan kepada mudharib untuk menanggung modal atau kerugian maka syarat itu batal tetapi akadnya tetap sah. Adapun yang menjadi permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) apa pendapat Ibnu Qudamah tentang syarat dhaman bagi mudharib dalam akad mudharabah, (2) Bagaimana alasan Ibnu Qudamah tentang syarat dhaman bagi mudharib dalam akad mudharabah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah (1) jenis penelitian yang digunakan berupa penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research), (2) sumber data terdiri atas: (a) sumber primer berupa pendapat Ibnu Qudamah tentang syarat dhaman bagi mudharib dalam kitab al-Mughnî fî Fiqh al-Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal al-Syaibani, (b) sumber sekunder berupa literatur-literatur yang terkait dengan pokok pembahasan, seperti al-Kâfi fî Fiqh Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Shahîh Bukhârî, dan lain-lain. (3) pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan, (4) teknik analisis yang digunakan metode deskriptif analitif. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jika pemilik modal mensyaratkan kepada mudharib untuk menanggung modal atau sebagian dari kerugian, menurut Ibnu Qudamah persyaratan itu batal sedangkan akad mudharabah sah. Pendapat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh alasan bahwa syarat tersebut bukan mengakibatkan ketidakjelasan pada keuntungan. Sehingga syarat tersebut dianggap sebagai syarat fasid. Menurut Ibnu Qudamah, syarat fasid tidak berpengaruh pada akad mudharabah. Akad tidak dapat dibatalkan dengan syarat yang rusak tetapi syarat hanya membatalkan apa yang ada di luar akad. Menurut kesimpulan penulis, alasan Ibnu Qudamah mengenai syarat dhaman bagi mudharib dalam akad mudharabah adalah menggunakan metode qiyas. Dalam hal ini, qiyas yang dimaksud adalah menyamakan syarat dhaman bagi mudharib dengan syarat fasid dalam jual beli. Qiyas ini dapat dilakukan karena keduanya sama-sama termasuk syarat yang tidak ada ketentuan dalam Kitabullah, sebagaimana dalam hadits Bukhârî yang berbunyi “…Rasulullah SAW bersabda ‘amma ba’du’, apa urusan beberapa laki-laki yang membuat syarat-syarat yang tidak ada dalam kitab Allah, apa saja syarat yang tidak terdapat dalam kitab Allah maka itu adalah bathil meskipun seratus syarat. Ketetapan Allah lebih pantas, dan syarat Allah lebih kokoh. Sesungguhnya perwalian itu bagi orang yang memerdekakan

    The Age Pattern and Socio-economic Determinants of Growth Retardation in Preschool Children

    Background: The prevalence of growth stunting and growth wasting in Indonesian preschool children is still high. The age pattern and socio-economic determinants of growth stunting and wasting have not been well understood. Objective: To describe the age pattern of linear and ponderal growth, and to identify socioeconomic and nutritional factors associated with stunting and wasting in preschool . children. Method: We analyzed the baseline data from a randomized trial. This cross sectional analysis was done using data collected at the first cycle of the Morvita study prior to treatment assignment. These data consisted of 747 preschool children aged 6-48 months from 25 rural villages of Purwodadi sub district who had completed anthropometric data. Results: The major growth deficit in length occurred during period of 6-24 months of age. After 24 months of age the linear growth tended to be plateau. The age pattern of ponderal growth was quite similar to the age pattern of linear growth except that the growth deficit was regained after 24 months of age.
