    Numerical integration of coupled Korteweg-de Vries System

    We introduce a numerical method for general coupled Korteweg-de Vries systems. The scheme is valid for solving Cauchy problems for arbitrary number of equations with arbitrary constant coefficients. The numerical scheme takes its legality by proving its stability and convergence which gives the conditions and the appropriate choice of the grid sizes. The method is applied to Hirota-Satsuma (HS) system and compared with its known explicit solution investigating the influence of initial conditions and grid sizes on accuracy. We also illustrate the method to show the effects of constants with a transition to non-integrable cases.Comment: 11 pages, 13 figure

    Objective: This study aimed to analyze the influence of prenatal class to the practice of P4K (Birth Planning And Prevention Of Birth Complication).Materials and Methods: This study applied analytical survey with cross sectional approach. The number of samples taken was as many as 30 mothers, using simple random sampling. Analysis of data was carried out using ordinal wilcoxon sign rank test. Datas were obtained from interviews and questionnaire.Result: The influence of prenatal class to practice of P4K (Birth Planning and Prevention of Birth Complication) (p = 0,0000). Conclusion: Prental class can influence to practic of P4K

    Studi Perbandingan Simulasi Proses Pembakaran Batubara Dan Vinasse Metode Non-premix Combustion Model

    -Vinasse as a sugarcane waste has large amount of debit that must be treated through various methods. One of the methods is combustion. Combustion is a chemical reaction that produced heat which is can be used as energy supply for further process. Vinasse according to proxymate and ultimate analysis has characteristic similar to coal after being evaporated. This paper is studied about the comparassion of combustion characteristic between vinasse and coal as a fuel in terms of temperature distribution, species distribution, and velocity vector. Combustion process conducted with computational fluid dynamics method especially non-premix combustion model. The geometry of furnace is 84 m x 5.2 m with the orthogonal quality of mesh is close to 1 and 100 percent of quad cells. The simulation of combustion process conducted in 2D (two dimensions) with air as oxydizer. The results of the simulation shows that vinasse were very potential to use as a fuel with quicker combustion compared to coal but with slightly different characteristic

    The Effectiveness of Biofilter with Used Plastic Media and Aquatic Plants (Echinodorus Palaefoliu and Limmnocharis Flava) to Reduce the TSS and Amonia in the Rubber Industry's Liquid Waste

    Liquid waste from rubber industry is one of environmental issues that shall be handled as it is commonly discharged and potentially contaminate aquatic environment. This waste contain high organic materials and it need to be processed. To understand the effectiveness of combination of used plastic biofilter media and emergent aquatic plant for remediation of that waste, a study has been conducted from January to March 2015. The waste was processed through used plastic biofilter media and then flown to phytoremediation unit that was completed with Limmnocharis flava and Echinodorus palaefoliu. There were 2 sets of processor and each set contain a biofilter and a phytoremediation unit. The processed waste was then used to rear Cyprinus carpio, Pangasius pangasius and Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings, 20 fishes/ aquarium. Water samplings were conducted 3 times, once/ 2 weeks. The water was sampled from the inlet and in the outlets of each biofilter and phytoremediation unit. Survival rate of the fish by the end of the research was noted. Results shown that the use of used plastic biofilter media and emergent plant phytoremediation process was effective to reduce the organic pollutant. Before being treated, the TSS and Ammonia were 538 mg/L and 28 mg/L respectively. After being treated, the TSS reduced into 32 mg/L and the Ammonia reduced into 7 mg/L. The effectiveness of the processor was 94% for the TSS and 75% for the Ammonia. By the end of the research, survival rate of the fish was ranged from 90%- 100%. Based on data obtained, it can be concluded that the use of used plastic and emergent plant processor is effective for reducing organic materials in the rubber industry liquid waste

    Fuzzy production planning models for an unreliable production system with fuzzy production rate and stochastic/fuzzy demand rate

    In this article, we consider a single-unit unreliable production system which produces a single item. During a production run, the production process may shift from the in-control state to the out-of-control state at any random time when it produces some defective items. The defective item production rate is assumed to be imprecise and is characterized by a trapezoidal fuzzy number. The production rate is proportional to the demand rate where the proportionality constant is taken to be a fuzzy number. Two production planning models are developed on the basis of fuzzy and stochastic demand patterns. The expected cost per unit time in the fuzzy sense is derived in each model and defuzzified by using the graded mean integration representation method. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the optimal results of the proposed fuzzy models

    This study aims to evaluate the characteristics of zakat institution and proposes the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) since it has developed and provides various product i.e zakat for productive purpose. This is important, considering that one of the measurement of accountability and transparency of an institution is providing brief financial report towards its beneficaries. Thereby, this study found that practically zakat institution is simillar to the SMEs, and there are 11 strandard of IFRS for SMEs that could be applicable to zakat institutionto achieve accountability and transparency. However, this study is preliminary study that proposes a conceptual frameworkwhich limited to the sharia compliance of IFRS that could be applicable to zakat Institution
