A képzelet vizsgálata fiktív narratívumok befogadásában = A study of imagination in the reception of fictive narratives

Exploráció céljából a képzelet működése lehetséges módjainak és alkalmainak egy listját szerkesztettük meg, hogy lássuk a képzeleti irodalmi fiktív narrativumokban, és a befogadásukban is alapvető prototipikus formáit. A fikcionalitás szintjének különbsége alapján realista, mese-szerű fantasztikus, "komoly" és "szórakoztató" posztmodern fikciókat képviselő szövegkorpuszokat tanulmányoztunk. A kísérleti személyek válaszai szerint a meseszerű fantasztikus főhősük bizonyulnak a leginkább fantázia-eredetű kitalált jellemeknek. Őket követik, sorban, a szókoztató populáris posztmodern alakok, azután a komolyan ironikus posztmodern alakok, majd nagy távolságra, a realisztikus módon ábrázolt hősök. Az előzőekkel ellentétben, amelyekben a fantáziából eredő fikcionalitás változója az uralkodó, az utóbbiakat akiknél a fantázia olyan változói mint ábrándozás, álom, fikció, illuzió, látomás, találékonyság és csoda a legkevésbé jellemzők képzelik el a legelevenebben, és az ő szövegüket hihetőbbnek ítélik meg. (Egyébként, mindegyik szöveget, illetve hőseiket a nők elevenebben képzelik el, mint a férfiak.) Az irodalmiság mértéke és a hős elképzelésének elevensége, vagy fantázia-eredete között nem volt kimutatható kapcsolat. Másszóval, a kísérleti személyeknek nem volt a művészeti érték mérlegeléséhez ahhoz hasonló sztenderdjük, mint a realitás mérlegeléséhez. | For exploratory purposes a list of the possible ways and opportunities for the use of imagination was constructed to see the prototypical forms of imagination which were fundamental in literary fictional narratives, and in reception, too. Based on the difference in level of fictionality some representative text corpuses of realistic, tale-like, ''serious'' and ''entertaining'' postmodern fictions were studied from the point of view of imaginary processing. According to the subjects' results the tale-like fantastic protagonists were the most fantasy-derived fictional figures. They were followed, in order, by the entertaining popularised postmodern characters, then the seriously ironical postmodern ones, and then, after a great gap, by the protagonists portrayed in a realistic way. In contrast with the previous ones where the variable of fictionality from fantasy was dominant, the last-mentioned protagonists with whom such prototypical forms of fantasy as day-dreaming, the dream(like), (mere) fictionality, illusion, vision, inventiveness and miracle were less characteristic were more vividly imagined, and their text is judged more believable than any of the other three. (Anyway, each text was more vividly imagined by females than males.) There was no relationship between the degree of literariness and the vividness of imagination of a protagonist, or his or her fictionality derived from fantasy. In other words, the subjects did not have a standard for artistic value that would work like the standard for reality

SMOOTHING SPLINE CHARACTERIZED BY CONFIDENCE BAND FOR SOLVING REGRESSION PROBLEMS

The quality of an approximating function using measured data may be characterized by the magnitude of difference between approximating and exact functional relationship. Smoothing spline has been used as approximating function. Based on measurements, a method is presented for determining a band around the approximating spline containing the graph of the exact functional relationship between physical variables on a calculable probability level

Extending the Validity of Basic Equations for One-dimensional Flow in Tubes with Distributed Mass Sources and Varying Cross Sections

Flow problems are solved using so-called fundamental equations and the corresponding initial and boundary conditions. The fundamental equations are the motion equation, the continuity equation, the energy conservation equation, and the state equations. In our paper, we extend the validity of the equation of motion used to describe one-dimensional, steady-state tubular flow to a case in which the mass flow of the medium changes along the tubular axis during the flow. Such flows occur in perforated and/or porous pipes and air ducts. The research in this direction was motivated by the fact that the extension and formulation of the equation of motion in this direction has not been carried out with completely general validity. In the equation of motion used to solve the problems, the isochoric and isotherm nature were assumed.
