"Menghidupkan" Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 tanpa Amandemen
Novel 6-aryl-7-alkyl/aryl-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a][1,3,5]triazine-5(6H)-thiones, processes for their preparation, characterization and evaluation of their in vitro antioxidant activity
ABSTRACT. A series of nine new 6-aryl-7-alkyl/aryl-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a][1,3,5]triazine-5(6H)-thiones (2a-i) were synthesized by a reaction of N-triazol-3-yl imidates (1) with three different isothiocyanate derivatives (RNCS) in refluxing toluene. The structures of the final heterocyclic compounds were confirmed by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, elemental analysis, and mass spectral analysis. The target compounds (2a-i) were in vitro screened for their activity as antioxidants using DPPH (2,2′-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) and FRAP (ferric reducing/antioxidant power) methods. The results revealed that some triazolotriazine-5-(6H)thiones exhibited antioxidant activity ranging from moderate to high. The obtained findings revealed that the triazolotriazine-5-(6H)thiones (2g, 2h, and 2i) have superiority among all compounds, It is obvious that the presence of a hydroxyl group in the structure is essential for the antioxidant properties and should be taken into consideration in further design of structures with potential antioxidant properties.

Population genetic structure analysis in endangered Hordeum vulgare landraces from Tunisia: Conservation strategies
Genetic markers have been employed in combination with morphological characters to identify patterns of population structure in 13 barley landrace populations from Tunisia. These endangered barley populations are grown by few local farmers in low-input farming systems. Based on 117 random amplified polymorphic DNA markers and 34 morphological traits, variance analyses indicated that most of the variation is partitioned within rather than between populations. Inbreeding index, gene flow values and cluster analysis revealed also significant differentiation between all populations. Gene flow decreased rapidly as the geographic distance increased. This may imply that seed exchange between farmers was limited to a regional scale. The lower correlation between the Euclidean distance matrices based on morphological and molecular data suggests that both data are comparably important to generate an unbiased picture of differentiation trends. Our findings support the required setting up of conservation strategies for Hordeum vulgare L. landraces from Tunisia.Key words: Barley landrace germplasm, RAPD, morphology, population differentiation analysis, conservation
Kajian Penentuan Posisi Jaring Kontrol Horizontal Dari Sistem Tetap (Dgn-95) Ke Srgi (Studi Kasus : Sulawesi Barat)
Based on law No. 4 of the year 2011 about Geospatial Information, BIG (Geospatial Information Agency) as one of the government agencies have a duty to provide geodetic control points. Before BIG set the SRGI as datum reference for Indonesia, Indonesia has used the National Geodetic Datum 1995. Change of use of the datum it is also influential on the determination of positions in Indonesia. Based on the foregoing it is necessary of a measurement as well as research at point Horizontal Control Network in order to find out how big a difference a coordinate obtained by using the processing system in DGN-95 and SRGI 2013 as well as getting seven parameters that are used in the transformation of coordinates. This research using 12 observation data horizontal control network in West Sulawesi in 2015. The point IGS used are 20 IGS stations and 8 CORS stations Indonesia. Data processing using software GAMIT 10.6. Velocity rate calculation and deformation models signifies change the coordinate value on the function of time. By using such methods, the obtained coordinates SRGI 2013.This research resulted in the value of coordinate statik system DGN-95, SRGI2013 and generate great velocity rate at each point of observation. Estimates solution best transformation parameters from DGN-95 to SRGI obtained in this study are: Tx = -0.0918, Ty = 0.0098, Tz = -0.0195, λ = 0.999999989, k = 1.19326 x 10-08, θ = -3.72529 x 10-07, ω = -5.58794 x 10-09
Impact of physical activity and dietary programme on metabolic syndrome risk factors in Saudi women
This thesis explores the impact of lifestyle factors on the development of metabolic syndrome (MS) in Saudi Arabian women. A survey of a snowball sample was used to recruit 258 female and explored factors influencing physical activity (PA) and food intake and their effects on BMI in women living in the KSA and the UK. Participants completed a self-reporting questionnaire relating to knowledge, attitudes, barriers and levels of PA, sedentary activity and eating habits. Excessive energy intake, physical inactivity and sedentary lifestyle were all prevalent in Saudi women, resulting in 80%, over the age of 35y, being overweight or obese. BMI was associated with both energy intake and PA, though the relationship with the former was stronger. The most common barriers to regular exercise were transportation and lack of time. Findings were generally similar between women living in Saudi Arabia and the UK. The efficacy of reducing energy intake, with or without increased PA, on risk factors associated with MS in overweight Saudi women was investigated in a pilot study. After a four-week program, incorporating dietary modification alone (D) or in combination with regular vigorous aerobic exercise (D+E), improvements were seen in body composition and a range of metabolic risk factors. Both groups lost weight, but, paradoxically, those in D lost significantly more than those in D+E (5.3 vs. 3.3%, p=0.016). Moreover, significant reductions were also found in blood pressure, plasma triacylglycerol, insulin, total and LDL cholesterol, with no significant differences between the two groups. Plasma glucose and HDL cholesterol remained unaltered. Overall, these changes led to a decline in the prevalence of MS from 20% to 5% and 21% to 7% for the D and D+E groups, respectively. Thus, reducing energy intake appears, at least in the short term, more important than increasing PA in reducing body weight and associated metabolic risk factors. These studies confirm that excessive dietary intake and physical inactivity both contribute to overweight and obesity in Saudi Arabian women. With appropriate support, it is possible to both reduce energy intake and increase PA, although, in the short -term, the former appears to be most important. It remains to be established whether longer-term improvements in PA would further improve metabolic health
Pathology-MRI correlations in diffuse low-grade epilepsy associated tumors
It is recognized that IDH mutation negative, low-grade epilepsy associated tumors (LEAT) can show diffuse growth patterns and lack the diagnostic hallmarks of either classical dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumors (DNT) or typical ganglioglioma. “Nonspecific or diffuse DNT” and more recently “polymorphous low-grade neuroepithelial tumor of the young” have been terms used for these entities. There are few reports on the MRI recognition of these diffuse glioneuronal tumors (dGNT), which is important in planning the extent of surgical resection. In 27 LEATs T1, T2, FLAIR, and postcontrast T1 MRI were evaluated and the pathology reviewed, including immunostaining for NeuN, CD34, MAP2, and IDH1. Each case was then independently classified by pathology or MRI as simple DNT, complex DNT, or dGNT. There was agreement in 23/27 (85%; Kappa score 0.62; p < 0.01). In 4 cases, there was discrepancy in the diagnosis of simple versus complex DNT but 100% agreement achieved for dGNT. DNT showed significantly more expansion of the cortex, cystic change and ventricle extension than dGNT. dGNT showed significantly more subcortical T2w hyperintensity and focal cortical atrophy which correlated on pathology with CD34 expression, cortical neuronal loss and white matter rarefaction. There was no distinct cortical dysplasia component identified by MRI or pathology in any case. This study highlights that dGNT can be reliably discriminated on MRI from DNT

Introduction :: Cysts of the thyroglossal duct are a congenital anomaly. they are common but the incidence of papillary carcinoma arising in a thyroglossal duct cyst (TDC) is rare. The clinical presentation of these cancers is generally nonspecific. There are usually identified only after histopathologic examinationAim: Modalities of treatment and prevention are discussed. Methods: We report 4 cases of a papillary carcinoma developed on a thyroglossal duct cyst, who underwent surgery. Two cases have been detected on préopératory and two at the definitive anatomopathology. Our therapeutic attitude has been discussed in each of our 4cases.Conclusion: there is no consensus about the modalities of treatment of papillary carcinoma in thyroglossal duct cyst. Keywords: Thyroglossal duct cyst, Thyroid, Papillary carcinoma, surgery, Total thyroidectomy
Corrosion Inhibition Influence of the Synthetized Chromen-6-One Derivatives on Mild Steel in 1.0 M HCl Electrolyte: Electrochemical, Spectroscopic and Theoretical Investigations
In this work, two new chromen-6-one derivatives (BCC), namely 7-phenyl-6H,7H-benzo[f]chromeno[4,3-b] chromen-6-one (BCC-Ph) and 7-(furan-2-yl)-6H, 7H-benzo[f] chromeno [4,3-b] chromen-6-one (BCC-Fur), were prepared and identified by spectroscopic technique (NMR). Their performances inhibitions were assessed by electrochemical measurements, and they confirmed and explained using scanning electron microscope combined with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM/EDX) and theoretical studies (DFT calculation and MD simulation). Both electrochemical techniques revealed that the obtained performance value rises with the content of inhibitors to reach 94.94% and 83.57% at 10-3 M BCC-Ph and BCC-Fur, correspondingly. Moreover, according to the PDP method, these compounds behave as mixed-type inhibitors in 1.0 M HCl medium. In addition, the influence of temperature indicated that the performance of the chromen-6-one derivatives slightly decreases with the temperature, and they are characterized by the physico-chemical adsorptions process with chemical dominance, and they act according to the Langmuir approach. The SEM/EDX analysis revealed a significant reduction of the heterogeneity of the metal surface by the establishment of anti-corrosive layer. Finally, the DFT calculations and MD simulation explain the mode of the chromen-6-one derivatives molecules adsorption, and confirm the obtained experimental results
