Von der Waffenbrüderschaft zur ideologischen Anfeindung: Politisierung des universitären Lebens in deutschen Ländern, publizistische Skandale um August von Kotzebue und Alexander von Stourdza und das Russlandbild der nationalen Einheitsbewegung von 1813-1819

The study “From military brotherhood to ideological war: politicization of the university life in Germany and Russia’s image among participants of the national movement of the 1813–1819 years” considers the political radicalization of German students’ unions Jena, Berlin, and Giessen after the Napoleonic wars. Based on hitherto unconsidered sources (such as reports of Adam Müller to Metternich), the author carefully restores the political implications of an 1817 students' festival (Wartburgfest 1817), and discloses an anti-Russian motivation in assassinating writer August von Kotzebue as well as in persecuting Russian state official Alexander von Stourdza. These political provocations in Germany were highly reflected in the internal policy in Russia in the early 1820s, whereas Karl Follen’s plans of assassinating the Russian Tsar in a Weimar theatre obviously did not come to the knowledge of state authorities. Ferdinand Massmann’s autodafé in the course of the Wartburgfest event of 1817 is scrutinized micro-historically, as well as Kotzebue’s surprising efforts, - in this respect going hand in hand with Goethe, - to appease the politically dense situation by publicly offering a conciliation with the radical students’ union (Burschenschaft). Evidence is brought forth that anti-Russian elements of the Wartburgfest have been subdued during the government investigations in Weimar

Retiro del fondo de pensión en el sistema privado y el derecho a una pensión-Profuturo AFP 2017

La presente tesis tiene por finalidad analizar de qué manera el retiro de fondo de pensión influye en el derecho a una pensión dentro del sistema privado, es por ello que al desarrollo de esta investigación se evidenciara con el temas actuales y posteriores a esta investigación con tal de identificar si el retiro de fondos afecta al derecho a la pensión. Por lo que es un derecho fundamental el cual está ligado al derecho a la vida y la dignidad. Con el fin de alcanzar nuestro objetivo se entrevistó a tres apoderados de Profuturo AFP, y gracias a su vasto conocimiento en la materia, nos comentaron sobre el retiro de fondo de pensiones y esta ley podría traer un problema mayor a largo plazo. Así también nos hablaron sobre que el retiro parcial para la obtención de un primer inmueble, podría ser un boom inmobiliario pero esto traería a lo largo problemas en el sistema de pensiones. Y en los fondos de los afiliados a este. Los resultados obtenidos en las entrevistas y a la par de nuestros análisis documentales, fueron de ayuda para sustentar nuestra investigación, asimismo se usaron tesis y artículos para dar un mejor entendimiento a los resultados, y llegando a concluir que la ley 30425 la cual permite que se retiró hasta el 95.5 de los fondos para una pensión, vulnera el derecho a la pensión y desnaturaliza el fin para el cual fue creado. Y con junto a ello el retiro del 25% también estaría desnaturalizando el derecho a la pensión, por permitir un retiro de este fondo que tiene por objetivo bridar una pensión, al afiliado cuando termine su vida laboral

LM2500+ Brush Seal Case Study

The LM2500+ industrial aeroderivative gas turbine, a 25% enhanced power derivative of the LM2500 gas turbine, recently completed its development test program during the period 5/96 - 10/96. Early in the engine program a Quality Function Deployment (QFD) process was used to determine customer needs for this project.The feedback obtained from the QFD process showed without doubt that gas turbine customers now emphasize product reliability and availability at the top of their needs. One area of development on the LM2500+ was to investigate the use of a brush seal as a means to reduce undesirable turbine cooling leakages within the turbine mid frame in order to enhance part life. This presentation presents a case study on the factors that went into evaluating a brush seal during engine test, test results, and the ultimate decision not to implement the brush seal for cost and other reasons

Synthetisches Erdgas aus Wasserstoff - immer noch eine Option?

Im Rahmen des Oberlausitzer Energiesymposiums der Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz zum Thema 'Wasserstoff - ein Netz der Zukunft' stellten Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Tobias Zschunke und sein Team die Ergebnisse und den aktuellen Stand seiner Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Gasumwandlung, hier speziell der katalytischen Methanisierung, vor. In der aktuellen energiewirtschaftlichen Situation ist eine Vielzahl von Umwandlungsprozessen im Gange, so dass man leicht den Überblick verlieren kann. Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Tobias Zschunke, Dr. rer. nat. Fabian Rachow und Fred Haaser, M.Eng. haben im Rahmen des LaNDER³ - Impulsprojektes 4 'Katalytische Methanisierung' das Thema Power to Gas weiter vorangetrieben, um aus ungenutztem CO2 und Wasserstoff kostengünstig und energieeffizient synthetisches Erdgas herzustellen. Das Verfahren ist zwar seit 100 Jahren bekannt, aber immer noch sehr energieintensiv. Hier ist es dem Team gelungen, eine Anlage zu entwickeln, die die Anforderungen des Thermomanagements für eine effiziente Prozessführung umsetzt. Feature-assisted interactive geometry reconstruction in 3D point clouds using incremental region growing

Reconstructing geometric shapes from point clouds is a common task that is often accomplished by experts manually modeling geometries in CAD-capable software. State-of-the-art workflows based on fully automatic geometry extraction are limited by point cloud density and memory constraints, and require pre- and post-processing by the user. In this work, we present a framework for interactive, user-driven, feature-assisted geometry reconstruction from arbitrarily sized point clouds. Based on seeded region-growing point cloud segmentation, the user interactively extracts planar pieces of geometry and utilizes contextual suggestions to point out plane surfaces, normal and tangential directions, and edges and corners. We implement a set of feature-assisted tools for high-precision modeling tasks in architecture and urban surveying scenarios, enabling instant-feedback interactive point cloud manipulation on large-scale data collected from real-world building interiors and facades. We evaluate our results through systematic measurement of the reconstruction accuracy, and interviews with domain experts who deploy our framework in a commercial setting and give both structured and subjective feedback.Comment: 13 pages, submitted to Computers & Graphics Journa
