Experimental Decoy Quantum Key Distribution Up To 130KM Fiber
Decoy State Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), being capable of beating PNS
attack and uncon- ditionally secure, have become an attractive one recently.
But, in many QKD systems, disturbances of transmission channel make quantum bit
error rate (QBER) increase which limits both security distance and key bit rate
of real-life decoy state QKD systems. We demonstrate the two-intensity decoy
QKD with one-way Faraday-Michelson phase modulation system, which is free of
channel dis- turbance and keeps interference fringe visibility (99%) long
period, near 130KM single mode optical fiber in telecom (1550 nm) wavelength.
This is longest distance fiber decoy state QKD system based on two intensity

Prevalence of insomnia symptoms and their associated factors in patients treated in outpatient clinics of four general hospitals in Guangzhou, China
Background: Data on the prevalence of insomnia symptoms in medical outpatient clinics in China are lacking. This study examined the prevalence of insomnia symptoms and their socio-demographic correlates in patients treated at medical outpatient clinics affiliated with four general hospitals in Guangzhou, a large metropolis in southern China.
Method: A total of 4399 patients were consecutively invited to participate in the study. Data on insomnia and its socio-demographic correlates were collected with standardized questionnaires.
Results: The prevalence of any type of insomnia symptoms was 22.1% (95% confidence interval (CI): 20.9–23.3%); the prevalence of difficulty initiating sleep was 14.3%, difficulty maintaining sleep was 16.2%, and early morning awakening was 12.4%. Only 17.5% of the patients suffering from insomnia received sleeping pills. Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that male gender, education level, rural residence, and being unemployed or retired were negatively associated with insomnia symptoms, while lacking health insurance, older age and more severe depressive symptoms were positively associated with insomnia symptoms.
Conclusions: Insomnia symptoms are common in patients attending medical outpatient clinics in Guangzhou. Increasing awareness of sleep hygiene measures, regular screening and psychosocial and pharmacological interventions for insomnia are needed in China.

Effect of gauge boson mass on the phase structure of QED
Dynamical chiral symmetry breaking (DCSB) in QED with finite gauge
boson mass is
studied in the framework of the rainbow approximation of Dyson-Schwinger
equations.
By adopting a simple gauge boson propagator ansatz at finite temperature, we
first numerically solve the
Dyson-Schwinger equation for the fermion self-energy to
determine the chiral phase diagram of QED with finite gauge boson mass
at finite chemical potential and finite temperature, then we study the
effect of the finite gauge mass on the phase diagram of QED. It is found
that the gauge boson mass suppresses the occurrence of
DCSB. The area of the region in the chiral phase diagram corresponding to
DCSB phase decreases as
the gauge boson mass increases. In
particular, chiral symmetry gets restored when is above a
certain critical value. In this paper, we use DCSB to describe the
antiferromagnetic order and use the gauge boson mass to describe the
superconducting order. Our results give qualitatively a physical
picture on the competition and coexistence between antiferromagnetic
order and superconducting orders in high temperature cuprate superconductors.Comment: 10 pages, 2 figure
Scaling of Anisotropic Flows and Nuclear Equation of State in Intermediate Energy Heavy Ion Collisions
Elliptic flow () and hexadecupole flow () of light clusters have
been studied in details for 25 MeV/nucleon Kr + Sn at large
impact parameters by Quantum Molecular Dynamics model with different potential
parameters. Four parameter sets which include soft or hard equation of state
(EOS) with/without symmetry energy term are used. Both number-of-nucleon ()
scaling of the elliptic flow versus transverse momentum () and the scaling
of versus have been demonstrated for the light clusters
in all above calculation conditions. It was also found that the ratio of
keeps a constant of 1/2 which is independent of for all the
light fragments. By comparisons among different combinations of EOS and
symmetry potential term, the results show that the above scaling behaviors are
solid which do not depend the details of potential, while the strength of flows
is sensitive to EOS and symmetry potential term.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
Meta-analysis of the efficacy and safety of adjunctive rosuvastatin for dyslipidemia in patients with schizophrenia
Background: Metabolic syndrome in patients with schizophrenia is a major health concern. The efficacy and safety of adjunctive rosuvastatin in treating dyslipidemia were controversial.
Aims: To assess the efficacy and safety of adjunctive rosuvastatin for dyslipidemia in patients with schizophrenia.
Methods: We systematically searched for relevant controlled clinical trials from the following databases: PubMed, PsycINFO, Cochrane Library, China Knowledge Network, WanFang Database and Chinese Biomedical Database up to September 28, 2017. Standardized mean difference (SMD) and risk ratio (RR) along with their 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated. The quality of the included studies was assessed using the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool. The GRADE (Grades of Recommendation, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation) system recommendation grading method was used as the reference standard.
Results: Four studies (n=274) comparing rosuvastatin (n=138) and control (n=136) groups were identified and analyzed. Adjunctive rosuvastatin showed greater efficacy than control group in low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) [4 trials, n=272, SMD: -1.31 (95%CI: -1.93, -0.70), I2=81%], total cholesterol (2 trials, n=164, SMD: -2.00 (95%CI: -2.79, -1.21); I2=76%) and triglycerides (2 trials, n=164, SMD: -1.05 (95%CI: -1.38, -0.72); I2=0%), but not in high density lipoprotein cholesterol (2 trials, n=164, SMD: 0.14 (95%CI: -0.16, 0.45); I2=0%). After removing one study without randomization for LDL-C, significance remained [3 trials, n=172, SMD:-1.07 (95%CI: -1.60, -0.53); I2=63%]. No significant group differences regarding body weight (3 trials, n=208, SMD: -0.40 (95%CI:-1.29, 0.49); I2=89%), body mass index (2 trials, n=164, SMD: -0.34 (95%CI: -1.23, 0.56); I2=87%), waist circumference (3 trials, n=208, SMD: -0.43 (95%CI: -1.31, 0.46); I2=89%), and fasting glucose (4 trials, n=272, SMD: -0.25 (95%CI: -0.65, 0.15); I2=62%) were observed. The adverse reactions and any cause discontinuation rate were similar between the groups. According to the GRADE approach, the evidence levels of main outcomes were rated as ‘‘very low’’ (35.3%) to ‘‘low’’ (64.7%). Of them, the primary outcome (LDL-C) was rated as “very low “.
Conclusions: The data available on the effectiveness and safety of adjunctive rosuvastatin in treating dyslipidemia for patients with schizophrenia is insufficient to come to a definitive interpretation about its efficacy and safety. Further high quality RCTs with extended treatment duration are warranted to confirm the findings.

Heat transport in an open transverse-field Ising chain
The heat conduction in an open transverse-field Ising chain is studied by
using quantization in the Fock space of operators in the weak coupling regimes,
i.e. the coupling is much smaller than the transverse field. The
non-equilibrium steady state is obtained for large size systems coupled to
Markovian baths at its ends. The ballistic transport is observed in the uniform
chain and normal diffusion in the random-exchange chain. {In addition, the
ballistic-diffusive transition is found at the intermediate disorder regime.}
The thermal conductivity is also calculated in the low and high
temperature regimes. It is shown that decays as at

Quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis of pod related traits in different environments in soybean
Soybean is an important crop, whose most agronomic traits are quantitative inherited. Mapping of these quantitative trait loci in soybean genes is importance for various applications. A F2:15 RIL population containing 149 lines derived from a cross between Charleston as female and Dongnong 594 as male parent were used for mapping of the QTL of pod related traits. Three agronomic traits showing clear phenotypic variations between parents were investigated and relevant QTLs were analyzed with software WindowsQTL Cartographer V2.5. The pod related traits are podwall thickness, weight of podwall, and ratio of podwall to pod (weight to weight). A total of 67 QTLs were mapped for 3 agronomic traits. Some QTLs identified under all environments tend to be valuable for soybean molecular marker assistant breeding selection.Key words: Soybean, pod traits, QTL, different environments
Transient heat generation in a quantum dot under a step-like pulse bias
We study the transient heat generation in a quantum dot system driven by a
step-like or a square-shaped pulse bias. We find that a periodically
oscillating heat generation arises after adding the sudden bias. One
particularly surprising result is that there exists a heat absorption from the
zero-temperature phonon subsystem. Thus the phonon population in
non-equilibrium can be less than that of the equilibrium electron-phonon
system. In addition, we also ascertain the optimal conditions for the operation
of a quantum dot with the minimum heat generation.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figure
