Field trip guide to Oligocene Limestones and Caves in the Waitomo District

The field guide runs from Hamilton to Waitomo to Te Anga and return in limestone-dominated country developed in transgressive sedimentary deposits of the Oligocene Te Kuiti Group – a world class example of a temperate shelf carbonate depositional system. Attention focuses on the nature, distribution and paleoenvironmental controls of the main limestone facies and some of the mixed terrigenous-carbonate facies in the Group. Along the way features of the Waitomo karst landscape are noted and the trip concludes by going underground in the Ruakuri Cave to discuss cave origins and the evidence for paleoenvironmental changes locked up in speleothems

In the manufacturing industry, production planning is very important. Sales forecasting data can be used as a basis for production planning. Good planning allows a company to take the opportunity to sell its products and also has the advantage of competing. In the end to help achieve an optimal decision required the existence of an appropriate management or management, systematic, and can be accounted for. One of the tools that management requires from the decision-making process is the forecasting method. Forecasting method is used to measure or assess the situation in the future. In this study, the authors do the forecasting on the sale of Tessy products Napkin and Non Core types. Forecasting method which author use in this research was Naïve Method, Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Triple Exponential Smoothing, and Trend Projection. The correct forecasting method for Tessy Napkin and Non Core products is Trend Projection, since Trend Projection has the smallest MAD, MSE, and MAPE levels

Transition from Icosahedral to Decahedral Structure in a Coexisting Solid-Liquid Nickel Cluster

We have used molecular dynamics simulations to construct a microcanonical caloric curve for a 1415-atom Ni icosahedron. Prior to melting the Ni cluster exhibits static solid-liquid phase coexistence. Initially a partial icosahedral structure coexists with a non-wetting melt. However at energies very close to the melting point the icosahedral structure is replaced by a truncated decahedral structure which is almost fully wet by the melt. This structure remains until the cluster fully melts. The transition appears to be driven by a preference for the melt to wet the decahedral structure.Comment: 7 pages, 6 figure

Pengembangan Aplikasi Penjas-pedia pada Smartphone Berbasis Android sebagai Media Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani untuk Kelas VII di SMPN 1 Bangkalan

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peneliti yang ingin mengembangkan suatu produk aplikasi pada smartphone berbasis android yang dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi penjas-pedia sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani untuk kelas VII di SMPN 1 Bangkalan dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk aplikasi penjas-pedia dari aspek USAbility dalam proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan mengacu pada model Research and Development (R&D) model Borg & Gall dengan 7 langkah pelaksanaan kegiatan dan pengembangan produk yaitu analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan aplikasi, evaluasi para ahli, revisi aplikasi, uji coba kelompok besar, revisi akhir aplikasi, produk akhir aplikasi. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menghasilkan produk aplikasi penjas-pedia sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani untuk kelas VII di SMPN 1 Bangkalan, Kelayakan produk aplikasi penjas-pedia telah teruji dari aspek USAbility dalam kategori “Baik” pada uji coba kelompok kecil dengan hasil skor = 0,7625 dan kategori “Sangat Baik” pada uji coba kelompok besar dengan hasil skor = 0,809782609. Dengan demikian produk aplikasi penjas-pedia ini dapat seterusnya digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani untuk siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Bangkalan. Berdasarkan kelayakan hasil skor aplikasi penjas-pedia dengan predikat “Sangat Baik” ini peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan penggunaan media smartphone dalam menunjang kegiatan proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di SMPN 1 Bangkalan sangat efektif dan efisien dan saran lebih lanjut kepada peneliti berikutnya yaitu diharapkan untuk dapat mengembangkan produk aplikasi media pembelajaran yang menjangkau lebih luas lagi dengan tidak terbatas hanya pada satu sekolah, pengembangkan produk aplikasi berikutnya dapat menjangkau lebih banyak sekolah. &nbsp

Accurate information regarding listed companies is crucial to minimize investment risk. This research aims to examine the effect of accounting income on stock return, and the effect of cash flow from operation, cash flow from investment, and cash flow from financing activities respectively as moderating variables on the relationship between accounting income and stock return of manufacturer listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange. There were 161 manufacturing companies listed during 2001 to 2005, and 39 of them are selected as sample research using purposive sampling method. With 5 year research period, there are 195 observations done. Data then are analyzed using multiple linear regressions. Results show that accounting income affect stock return significantly, which is shown by greater value of t count compare to t table. While cash flow from operation, investment, and financing activities are not able to moderate relationship between accounting income and stock retur

This research using Wagner Within method in helping companies make the draft of inventory. The long term goal is to find the best method that can summarize the company\u27s budget without compromising customer satisfaction.
