    The Impact on Farm Profits of a Company's Partnership with a Potato Farm

    This research aims to explain the impact of the partnership on potato farms' profits inSembalun District, West Nusa Tenggara Province. To achieve this goal, we looked at 142farmers, comprising of 111 partnered farmers and 31 non-partnered farmers. The conclusionsfrom our profit function analysis were: (i) the partnership had a positive impact on potatofarmers' profits in Sembalun District, West Nusa Tenggara Province; (ii) productivity, inputcosts, and labor costs had a significant influence on profits as an impact of the partneship. Inthis context, it is recomended that the local government encourage and facilitate potato farmerswho have not yet established a partnership to enter such an arrangement with the company, sothat their productivity and incomes increase. In addition, the local government is expected tobuild storage facilities for potato seeds. Future research should search for potato seeds that canreplace the imported ones

    This study is focused on intrinsic and extrinsic motivation factor to teach in kabupaten Melawi. Which is the focuses on the factors intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of surviving teachers teaches in remote areas. The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of teachers teaching in remote areas persist at SD Negeri 08 Kayu Bunga kecamatan Belimbing Hulu, that consist of 6 people as the primary data. This study is qualitative, case study approach. While the data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study through the stages of data reduction, data display, data verification, and conclusion. The results of this study can be concluded, generally the main factor of the teacher to teach in remote areas are factors intrinsic motivation, they are a sense of responsibility towards children's education in the remote area, profession as noble, and teachers received an award from the local community.     Prevalence of dentine hypersensitivity among university students in Turkey

    Background and Objective: Dentine hypersensitivity (DH) is a common clinical finding with a wide variation in prevalence values. There is lack of data on the prevalence of dentinal sensitivity in Turkish population. The aim of this study was to establish the prevalence of DH and to examine some associated factors such as initiating stimuli among university students in Kýrýkkale, Turkey.Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among undergraduates of University of Kýrýkkale, Turkey. An electronic questionnaire was developed and distributed via e-mail to undergraduate students in Kýrýkkale University. Self-administered questionnaire elicited information on demography, self-reported dentinal sensitivity, thetrigger factor, professional treatment taken, and duration time. Test of significance was done with Chi square statistics. P<0.05 was considered as significant.Results: A total of 1463 responses were evaluated in this study. One hundred and twenty-four students were diagnosed as having DH, giving a prevalence figure of 8.4%. The prevalence of DH in females was significantly higher than that in males. The most common initiating factor was cold drinks. Tooth sensitivity was found to be common among hardtoothbrush users. About 46% of patients reported that they had not undergone any treatment for the discomfort and 35% reported having had some sort of treatment. Among the participants with dentinal sensitivity, 58.8% of the respondents reported that they use soft drinks occasionally. Approximately 64.2% of the patients claimed that DH was present for1–6 days and the majority (87%) of the patients with hypersensitive teeth experienced pain occasionally.Conclusion: The prevalence of DH among university students was 8.4%. DH is not a common problem in undergraduate university students
