Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) is an essential diagnostic technique in many plasma systems, such as those used for surface treatments or fabrication of thin films. Despite the simplicity of application of OES, its interpretation is not straightforward. In particular, it requires the use of models, which due to the complexity and variety of discharge conditions, have not yet been fully understood [1]–[3]. In addition, Langmuir probes have been widely used to characterize plasmas. They allow the measurement of several parameters of interest, such as the electron density and temperature, as well as the determination of the electron energy distribution function (EEDF) by numerical derivation of the characteristic V − I [4] or by probe-current modulation [5]. In this work, some second positive system bands in the negative glow of an Ar-N2 plasma at a pressure of 2.5 Torr were investigated both by OES and Langmuir probes, for different mixture concentrations. The main purpose of this study was to verify how metastable states and the behavior of the EEDF may influence the interpretation of OES dataFil: Isola, Lucio Manuel. This research examined the customer loyalty process through relational marketing, using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies. A market study was conducted to analyze the current client management approaches. A survey of customers of the company was carried out to investigate what they perceived were important factors influencing their relationship with the organization and determining efficient communication. The study focused on the design of CRM and relational marketing strategies, in order to create tools to improve communication and interaction with the client, so as to help understand customer demands and achieve loyalty. A formal methodology was described for developing and implementing a CRM system that integrates aspects such as defining a customer strategy, re-engineering customer-oriented business processes, human resources management, the computer system, and management of change and continuous improvement. Keywords: strategy, loyalty, customer relationship management, administration, communication. Em última análise, o melhor contracetivo é aquele que a pessoa preferir e melhor se adequar à sua situação.LGBTQI+ community, and in particular trans and gender diverse individuals, access health care less frequently, incurring worse outcomes in all areas of health, including contraception and family planning. In this dissertation, the specificities of contraception in trans, non-binary and gender fluid/queer men whose female sex was assigned at birth are discussed. Thus, it is intended to increase the literacy of health care providers on this topic, in order to make this area of health more global and equal for all people, regardless of their gender identity. For this literature review, articles were mostly searched in the PubMed database using the keywords Trans; Transgender; Contraception; Contraceptive Use; Family Planning. The lack of literacy on the part of healthcare providers is one of the most prevalent factors in the reluctance of trans and gender diverse people to seek professional help when they need it. Therefore, it is urgent to adopt strategies to include this issue in the training of health professionals. It is essential to know the role of testosterone hormone therapy in its various aspects, particularly regarding its desired effects, but also its action on uterine bleeding and fertility in transgender people. On the other hand, regardless of gender identity, fertility and parenthood desires should be discussed with users in order to avoid unwanted conceptions, but also to assist and monitor those who wish to become pregnant. Thus, individualized contraceptive counseling based on the particular needs of each individual should be promoted, without neglecting abnormal clinical findings that should always be investigated. In summary, the most important thing in contraceptive counseling in this community is to understand what factors cause gender dysphoria, trying to overcome them using the properties of each drug/method as a way to minimize it. Ultimately, the best contraceptive is the one the person prefers and best fits their situation

Relaxation of heavy species and gas temperature in the afterglow on a N2 microwave discharge

In this paper we present a self-consistent kinetic model to study the temporal variation of the gas temperature in the afterglow of a 440 Pa microwave nitrogen discharge operating at 433MHz in a 3.8 cm diameter tube. The initial conditions in the afterglow are determined by a kinetic model that solves the electron Boltzmann equation coupled to the gas thermal balance equation and a system of rate-balance equations for N-2(X-1 Sigma(+)(g), v) molecules, electronically excited states of N2, ground and excited states of atomic nitrogen and the main positive ions. Once the initial concentrations of the heavy species and gas temperature are known, their relaxation in the afterglow is obtained from the solutions to the corresponding time-dependent equations. Modelling predictions are found to be in good agreement with previously measured values for the concentrations of N(S-4) atoms and N2(A (3)Sigma(+)(u)) molecules, and the radially averaged gas temperatureTg along the afterglow of amicrowave discharge in N-2 under the same working conditions. It is shown that gas heating in the afterglow comes essentially fromthe energy transfer involving non-resonant vibration-vibration (V-V) collisions between vibrationally excited nitrogen molecules, as well as from energy exchanges in vibration-translation (V-T) on N-2-N collisions
