Complementarity of the Calculative and Qualitative Description

Phenomenology and Quantum theory have defined themselves against the subject-object tradition of thought and against the modern objectivistic attempt to unify explanation of reality or being. Scientific technology and calculative way of thinking have prevailed over meditative and qualitative thinking in modern times. Despite scientific efforts to eliminate any inconsistency caused by metaphysical speculations and systems, in everyday life and science we encounter such phenomena which cannot be explained unambiguously and fully on the basis of purely conventional criteria. This paper focuses on Bohr's framework of complementarity. The idea enables us exploring and describing a given phenomenon in such manner that we get adequate knowledge of the same phenomenon or subject of interest only by completing incompatible descriptions

Werner Heisenberg, Niels Bohr a příběh kodaňské interpretace

Příspěvek se zaměřuje na zavádějící příběh o tzv. kodaňské interpretaci kvantové mechaniky, již jako údajně nerozpornou či jednotnou vytvořili a sdíleli na základě tzv. kodaňského ducha kvantové teorie její tvůrci v roce 1927. Článek bude vycházet z role, kterou v tomto příběhu sehráli především N. Bohr a W. Heisenberg. První část příspěvku seznamuje s variacemi toho, co se v literatuře považuje za kodaňskou interpretaci. Druhá část odhaluje, že zatímco kvantová mechanika vznikla ve dvacátých letech 20. století, kodaňská interpretace je veskrze problematickým a především Heisenbergovým produktem z let padesátých. Jednou z hlavních motivací, kvůli níž vystoupil s tzv. kodaňskou interpretací, byla obrana vůči množícím se kritikám obhájců kvantové teorie. Jelikož mezi členy tzv. kodaňské školy nepanovala žádná jednotná či nerozporná interpretace kvantové mechaniky, zaměřuje se poslední část příspěvku na několik vybraných rozdílů hlavně mezi Bohrovým a Heisenbergovým výkladem kvantové teorie

Structural and stress analysis in mining practice in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin

The irregular distribution of stress in rock mass is a decisive factor for the origin of rock bursts. Besides, a sound knowledge of stress distribution is very important in the excavation of mine workings. Stress state is affected both by natural stress, including the gravitational, tectonic, hydraulic and residual stress and the stress induced by mining operations. Natural stress fields are defined by their geological structure and rock properties. It is important in mining practice to understand that there is a close relationship between recent and residual tectonic stress, as defined by tectonic evolution and tectonic structure. Since 1994, a large number of horizontal stress measurements have been carried out at a depth of 600 m to 800 m under the surface. The application of the results obtained from the measurements of stress and their comparison with the results of structural analysis and their generalization for the Karviná subbasin can be an important contribution to optimize the timespace designs of the mining activity.Web of Science10226525

Článek se zabývá demystifikací dodnes panující legendy o ikoně světové vědy, nositeli Nobelovy ceny za objev štěpení těžkých jader, chemiku Otto Hahnovi. Desítky let byl považován za vzor německé slušnosti, zodpovědnosti a příklad antinacistického vědce, který nekolaboroval se zločinným režimem na jeho válečné mašinérii. Import 23/07/2015Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o vývoji nové mobilní aplikace pro operační systém Android. Aplikace v podobě překladatelského slovníku umožní uživatelům se lépe orientovat v pojmech z oblasti automatizace. Překládanými jazyky jsou čeština a angličtina. V práci je popsána historie vývoje slovníku od tištěné verze po webovou. Dále je v práci provedena analýza již existujících slovníkových aplikací a zhodnoceny jejich vlastnosti. Praktická část se zaměřuje na programování aplikace v jazyce Java a návrh a tvorbu uživatelského prostředí této mobilní aplikace.This thesis deals with the development of the new mobile application for the Android operating system. An application in the form of a dictionary allows users to better understand the vocabulary from the field of automation. Translated languages are Czech and English. The thesis also describes the history of the development of vocabulary since the printed version to the web. In the thesis there are also analyzed existing dictionary applications and evaluated their properties. Jsou zde rozebrány optimální možnosti využití komerčně dostupných fotovoltaických panelů, úvod do fotovoltaiky a fotovoltaické systémy. Dále je práce zaměřena na možnosti použití fotovoltaických panelů pro nabíjení akumulátorových baterií, dimenzování akumulátorů a způsoby zapojení. V praktické části je navržen měnič napětí pro fotovoltaický panel. Tento měnič se skládá z fotovoltaického panelu, regulátoru solárního nabíjení, akumulátoru, napěťového střídače a transformátoru. Všechny tyto bloky jsou navrženy, popsány a změřeny.The thesis discusses about the voltage converter for photovoltaic panel. There are analyzed the optimal possibilities which commercial using available photovoltaic panels, introduction to photovoltaics and photovoltaics systems. Work is focused on possibility using photovoltaic panels for charge the batteries, accumulators and sizing methods of connection. In the practical part is proposed the power inverter for photovoltaic panel. This converter consists of a photovoltaic panel, solar controller charging, the battery voltage inverter and transformer. V práci jsou vypsány teoretické základy této technologie, ze kterých je odvozena konstrukční varianta hydromotoru. Pro dané podmínky je proveden konstrukční návrh se všemi technickými výpočty. Dále je zvoleno těsnění pro píst a pístnici. K práci je přiložena kompletní výkresová dokumentace pro výrobu hydromotoru a seznam jeho dílů.This magister thesis deals with the structural design of linear hydraulic motors for the boom loader lifting. The thesis includes theoretical basics of this technology, which is derived for a variant of the motor. The design with all the technical calculations is made for the given conditions. Music based electronic light effect

Tato práce se zabývá principy a možnostmi realizace hudebního světelného efektu, který dokáže ovlivnit náš celkový vjem reprodukované hudby. Součástí této práce je návrh a realizace spektrálního analyzátoru, anti-aliasingového filtru a výkonových částí pro připojení výkonnějších světel. Spektrální analyzátor počítá na základě Rychlé Fourierovy transformace (FFT) a výsledné spektrum je zobrazováno na LED bargrafy. V teoretické části je blíže popsán princip převodu analogového signálu na digitální. Na základě těchto poznatků je diskutován výběr vhodného mikrokontroléru.This work is focused on music baset light effect, it´s principles and possibilities of realization. Music based light effect can affect our perception of reproduced music. This work include design and realization of spectral analyzer, anti-aliasing filter and output power parts. Spectral analyzer uses Fast Fourier transform (FFT) to count resulting spectrum, which is displayed on LED bargrafs. In the theoretical part the priciples of analog to digital conversion are closer described. According to this information, selection of suitable microcontroller is discused.

Import 26/06/2013Obsahem práce je popis nejčastějších možných konfigurací anténního systému základnových stanic mobilních operátorů v České Republice pro sítě 2. generace (GSM), 3. generace (UMTS, CDMA2000) a 4. generace (LTE). Práce popisuje anténní konfigurace na střechách obytných budov a jejich vliv na pobyt a pohyb osob v bezprostřední blízkosti antén v souvislosti s platnou legislativou zejména z hlediska expozice neionizujícímu záření. Jsou zde definovány konfigurace anténního systému základnových stanic v případě umístění základnové stanice jednotlivých operátorů na střeše tak i případy sdílení střech budov více operátory.This document describes the most common configurations of the antenna system base stations of mobile operators in the Czech Republic for the second network generation (GSM), third generation (UMTS, CDMA2000) and fourth generation (LTE). This work describes the antenna configuration on the roofs of residential buildings and their impact on the stay and movement of persons in the neighborhood of antennas in connection with the valid legislation, especially in terms of exposure to non-ionizing radiation.
