The effect of diet, body mass index and lifestyle on intestinal microbiota dysbiosis
Disbioza crijevne mikrobiote povezuje se s razliÄitim bolestima poput pretilosti, upalnih bolesti crijeva, sindroma iritabilnog crijeva, karcinoma debelog crijeva, kardiovaskularnih bolesti, metaboliÄkog sindroma, anoreksije, alergije i astme. Intestinal microbiota is a complex microbial community whose composition in the individual can be changed over time, but retains common characteristics. The composition of intestinal microbiota can be disrupted under the influence of certain factors, of which diet is hypothesized as a major factor. Intestinal microbiota dysbiosis is associated with various diseases such as obesity, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, colon cancer, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic syndrome, anorexia, allergies and asthma. The aim of this study was to determine whether there is a common link between diet, anthropometric parameters, biochemical parameters, life habits and dysbiosis, respectively increased representation of Enterobacteriales order found in subjects (n=3) during studying the influence of body mass index on the intestinal microbiota composition in the younger population. Considering the inconsistency of the obtained results no common link was found in the macronutrient and dietary fiber intake, anthropometric and biochemical parameters and life habits that could lead to manifested intestinal microbiota dysbiosis
