Analysis of Ecuadorian Companies’ Access to Financial Resources in the Context of the COVID-19 Sanitary Emergency and the Performance of Economic Areas
This article is developed within the context of the COVID 19 health epidemic, with the purpose of exploring the probability of access to credit in financial institutions properly registered by the Superintendency of Banks and the Superintendency of Popular and Solidarity Economy, using data from the 2019 Structured Business Survey and by means of logistic probability analysis in the economic sectors, being the commercial and manufacturing sectors those most likely to have access to credit, making them financially susceptible to the critical effects of the measures to contain the pandemic, being necessary to take measures ranging from governmental policies to the administrative policies of the company to mitigate the consequences
Working Capital in the Operations of Commercial Companies in Ecuador
The present study makes an analysis of the working capital of the companies in the commercial sector of Ecuador, in order to know how the working capital affects the economic results of commercial organizations during the year 2021. The research is descriptive, analytical and correlational, based on the database of the Superintendence of Companies (SC) and Insurance SC with a sample of the 40 largest companies according to their assets and applying multiple correlation to determine the relationships between working capital and other selected variables; Among the main results, it is highlighted that one of the components of working capital, current assets, has a direct correlation with total assets, that is, when the company invests the most, it does so in a large majority in resources that can be converted into cash in less than 12 months, with a significance of 0,67. The problem arises from the need to know how the working capital WC influences the obtaining of results at the end of a fiscal year, in one of the largest sectors in the country and that contributes significantly with jobs and taxes to the state; considering also that the largest companies in Ecuador belong to the sector, according to the Ranking of the control body, such as La Favorita Corporation that operates with an investment of 57.787.752,77 and profit for the year 2021 of $232.280.036,22 in the last year reported to the SC
Factors Affecting the Dissolution and Liquidation of Companies in Region 7
Para determinar los factores que inciden en los procesos de disolución y liquidación de compañÃas en la Región 7, se realizó un análisis comparativo y descriptivo, considerando la base de datos de la Superintendencia de CompañÃas, Valores y Seguros de acuerdo con la situación legal; existiendo 387 compañÃas en proceso de disolución y liquidación en las provincias de: Loja, Zamora Chinchipe y El Oro en el periodo 2015-2020; la mayorÃa de compañÃas están en la provincia de El Oro con 272, este comportamiento estadÃstico se debe a que en esta provincia existe mayor número de compañÃas, luego la provincia de Loja con 90 y finalmente la provincia de Zamora Chinchipe con 25 compañÃas; para el estudio se tomó las compañÃas que presentaron información económica- financiera al ente regulador, que constituyen un total de 284, las mismas son de tipo: anónimas en un 52.67%, responsabilidad limitada el 44.06%, Sociedad por Acciones Simplificada el 3.05% y, las compañÃas restantes con un porcentaje menor a 1%. Las compañÃas de los sectores Comercial, Construcción, Agricultura, GanaderÃa, Silvicultura y Pesca, tuvieron un capital de trabajo negativo en el periodo analizado, tenÃan un sobre endeudamiento con relación a sus activos o sobre la inversión realizada; analizando los márgenes de rentabilidad de las compañÃas en proceso de disolución y liquidación, son negativos; mientras que, en algunas compañÃas sus márgenes no van más allá de décimas y centésimas positivas.To determine the factors that affect the processes of dissolution and liquidation of companies in Region 7, a comparative and descriptive analysis was carried out, considering the database of the Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance in accordance with the legal situation; There are 387 companies in the process of dissolution and liquidation in the provinces of: Loja, Zamora Chinchipe and El Oro in the period 2015-2020; The majority of companies are in the province of El Oro with 272, this statistical behavior is due to the fact that in this province there is a greater number of companies, then the province of Loja with 90 and finally the province of Zamora Chinchipe with 25 companies; For the study, the companies that presented economic-financial information to the regulatory entity were taken, which constitute a total of 284 companies, they are of the type: anonymous in 52.67%, limited liability in 44.06%, Simplified Joint Stock Company in 3.05%. and, the remaining companies with a percentage less than 1%. Companies in the Commercial, Construction, Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry and Fishing sectors had negative working capital in the period analyzed; they had excess debt in relation to their assets or the investment made; the debt is greater than the companies' investment; Analyzing the minimum margins of companies in the process of dissolution and liquidation, they are negative, with certain exceptions, since their margins do not go beyond positive tenths and hundredths

The financial risks that the companies of the secondary sector that entered into the dissolution and liquidation processes of zone 7 went through, are multiple, they had to be corrected at the time to avoid the dissolution and liquidation, for the development of the investigation a comparative descriptive analysis is carried out In order to determine the evolution of the economic and financial indicators, the study period covers the years 2015 to 2020, as preliminary information, the degree theses of the ladies Tamara Alvarado, Martha Montaño and Carmen Celi were reviewed, who build a database of the companies that entered into dissolution and liquidation processes in zone 7, the financial economic situations that the companies were going through are: over-indebtedness, illiquidity, low profitability, negative working capital in various periods, minimum economic returns, and in others periods without returns on the assets that the companies own and the patrimony of their shareholders, in addition they do not have a planning for the management of possible financial risks.Los riesgos financieros que atravesaron las compañÃas del sector secundario que entraron en procesos de disolución y liquidación de la zona 7, son múltiples debieron corregir en su momento para evitar a la disolución y liquidación, para el desarrollo de la investigación se realiza un análisis descriptivo comparativo para determinar la evolución de los indicadores económico financueros, el periodo de estudio comprende los años 2015 al 2020, como información preliminar se revisó las tesis de grado de las señoritas Tamara Alvarado, Martha Montaño y Carmen Celi, quienes construyen una base de datos de las compañÃas que entraron en procesos de disolución y liquidación en la zona 7, las situaciones económicas financieras por las cuales a travesaban las compañÃas son: sobre endeudamiento, iliquidez, baja rentabilidad, capital de trabajo negativo en varios periodos, rendimientos económicos mÃnimos, y en otros periodos sin rendimientos sobre los activos que poseen las compañÃas y el patrimonio de sus accionista, además no cuentan con una planificación para el manejo de posibles riesgos financieros
Efectos económicos sociales por la disolución y liquidación de las compañÃas de la provincia de Loja- Ecuador
To determine the economic and social effects of dissolution and liquidation processes of companies in the province of Loja, a comparative and descriptive analysis was carried out, considering the database of the Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance; Internal Revenue Services, Ministry of Labor and the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security. In the province of Loja during the 2015-2020 period, there were 90 companies from different economic sectors that entered the process of dissolution and liquidation. In 2015, the Ecuadorian State received a total of 3,831.14 for Income Tax. The social information was obtained from the Ministry of Labor, where there are 268 contracts made by the companies in the period 2015-2020; while, according to information from the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute, 305 exit notices were registered in the period, related to the economically active population to determine the increase in the unemployment rate. 2016 was the year with the highest incidence, with 137 exit notices, which represents a 0.048% increase in the unemployment rate compared to the EAP, due to the dissolution and liquidation of companiesPara determinar los efectos económico-sociales por procesos de disolución y liquidación de compañÃas en la provincia de Loja, se realizó un análisis comparativo y descriptivo, considerando la base de datos de la Superintendencia de CompañÃas, Valores y Seguros; Servicios de Rentas Internas, Ministerio del Trabajo y el Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social. En el 2015 el Estado ecuatoriano recibió un total de 3.831,14 por Impuesto a la Renta. La información social se obtuvo del Ministerio de Trabajo, donde constan 268 contratos realizados por las compañÃas en el periodo 2015-2020; mientras que, de acuerdo con información del Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social, se encuentra registrados 305 avisos de salida en el periodo, relacionados con la población económicamente activa para determinar el incremento de la tasa de desempleo. El año 2016 fue el de mayor incidencia, con 137 avisos de salida que representa un 0,048% de incremento de la tasa de desempleo frente a la PEA, por efecto de la disolución y liquidación de las compañÃas
