The article presents a brief period during 1945 when the honour of the Croats and Serbs was the subject matter of legal regulations. One of the primary objectives in the establishment of a new government included the standardization of the legislative framework. Political, propagandistic, cultural, artistic, economic and administrative collaboration with the occupying powers and “domestic traitors” were adjudicated by the Tribunals for the Protection of the National Honour of the Croats and Serbs. Their judgements had multiple significance and far-reaching consequences

Effective Instruction Of Social Skills To Increase Student Achievement In Elementary-Aged Students

The research question addressed by this project is How can educators successfully implement social skills with elementary-aged students to increase their overall achievement? The purpose of this exploration is to identify effective strategies for elementary school educators to reference and utilize supporting their student’s social skill development. This project reviews studies conducted by many researchers in the field of elementary education, social skill development, and child development in order to create a digital resource compiling receptive and expressive social skill strategies to be used with elementary-aged students.The research focuses on the definition of social skills, which skills are necessary for social skill development, who benefits from proper social skill implementation, and effective ways to teach social skills. To encourage elementary teachers to support their students’ social skill development within the classroom, the capstone project is a gathering of the strategies compiled as a result of the research into the form of a website including pictures

The Difference in Motivation and Self-Efficacy following Resistance Training and Individualized Diet Planning for Obese Patients with Chronic Pain

Executive Summary Problem. Obesity and chronic pain negatively impact patients’ lives causing long-term physical, psychological, and economic consequences. Current management strategies focus on symptom management. Purpose. In adults age 18-65 with a BMI­ ≥ 30, will a group program which included resistance training, counseling, and educational support on the key components of a Mediterranean like diet that is individualized for the patient increase motivation and self-efficacy to make these lifestyle changes designed to decrease BMI and chronic musculoskeletal pain? Objective. Increase motivation and self-efficacy to continue individualized weight loss and physical activity programs following the study. Plan. A pre- and post-intervention tests to compare changes in motivation and self-efficacy after a six-week program that included provider guided resistance training and individualized diet counseling changed. Results. The results showed a statistically significant increase in dietary motivation (t= -2.714, pt= -4.360, p=.000), and exercise self-efficacy (t= -9.942, p=.000). Exercise motivation was not statistically changed (t= .248, p=.805). Limitations. Limitations of the study included a small sample size (N=10) and limited control of extraneous variables such as age, gender, previous experience in diet and exercise

How Does Education and Experience Impact Therapist Self-Disclosure Among Clinical Social Workers?

This mixed methods study asks clinical social workers about their experience with therapist self-disclosure. Clinical social workers (n=86) completed an online survey asking them about their understanding and use of self-disclosure, their comfort and competence in using self-disclosure, their experience and education regarding self-disclosure, and how education, licensure, training, and supervision might be strengthened or expanded to address the use of self-disclosure in clinical practice. Findings suggested that clinical social workers are comfortable and confident in their use of therapist self-disclosure. The majority of respondents believed education, training, and supervision could be strengthened or expanded to better address the use of therapist self-disclosure in clinical practice. Implications for social work practice and suggestions for future research are discussed

Through the presented cases in which the Commission for Investigation of War Crimes of the Occupiers and Their Collaborators ascertained accountability, this work constitutes an attempt to depict all levels of collaboration and perpetration of war crimes (their forms in particular), both through individual and group decisions. Th e range was genuinely quite broad, covering the integrated apparatus of occupation, destruction of the people’s liberation movement, the struggle against Partisan units, crimes against civilians, plundering of assets and violence of all types
