RFID technology can be exploited in newly developed logistics centers in Polandas well. The Radio frequency identification (RFID) has been recognized as one of the greatesttechnologies implemented by enterprises in different branches. Constantly increasing numberof enterprises, which are making use of RFID technology to improve their efficiency ofmanufacturing goods, functioning as well as to achieve a competitive advantage on themarket, shows the great necessity of large changes. One of the fields where RFID can be usedis logistics centers. There are projects that implement RFID into logistics centers. Suchprojects start with a study of what kinds of needs are in the market, and proceeds to thedevelopment of concept as well as project determines what the new systems and hardwarerequirements will be to translate the concept of logistics centers with RFID systems to anactual infrastructure. Conclusion is that RFID will be more universally diffused andassimilated into everyday life in the future.RFID, logistics centre, project

The article presents the definition of gender stereotype and discusses the mechanisms of its impact. The focus has been on gender, due to the need to promote equal opportunities for women and men and to empower women in the labor market. As part of the study, the author identifies selected stereotypes, both positive and negative, functioning in diversity management, focusing on gender, and then interprets them. The basis for the deliberations is a review of scientific literature, with particular emphasis on the results of several international empirical studies. Based on the interpretation of stereotypical views, guidelines for managers managing diversity were formulated. The article presents the definition of gender stereotype and discusses the mechanisms of its impact. The article presents an implementation analysis of activities in the field of controlling on the example of Neuroactive. The first part of the work covered the diagnosis of information needs in the field of operational controlling in a consulting and training company. The following research methods were used in the described study: case study, documentation analysis and free interview. The diagnosed needs of Neuroactive include multidimensional analyzes of the structure of revenues and profitability, cash flow planning and the possibility to assess the profitability of the project. The second part of the thesis outlined the concept of an operating controlling system dedicated to a consulting and training company. The article presents an implementation analysis of activities in the field of controlling on the example of Neuroactive. Rapid changes of the economic conditions seem to drive constant evolution of the logistics concept, thus introducing new ideas of supply chain management (SCM) and / or new management paradigms. These new concepts are reflected by the changes in organisational structures of companies requiring now modified skills and new type of knowledge from logistics employees [Kisperska-Moroń, 2000]. Dynamic changes on the market, the development of information and information technologies contribute to the growing demand for qualified and effective employees of logistics departments who can meet these and other challenges of the modern economy. The sources of employee efficiency, including competencies, have been the subject of interest of management sciences for years [Jarosz-Lewandowska, 2016]. Numerous studies and scientific studies prove that it is the competences of employees that affect the company's ability to achieve market success and are one of the sources of enterprise competitiveness. This makes it important to pay attention to logistic qualifications in the group of people 50+ who are employees of the logistics staff of Polish enterprises.Rapid changes of the economic conditions seem to drive constant evolution of the logistics concept, thus introducing new ideas of supply chain management (SCM) and / or new management paradigms. Polylactide Used as Filment in 3d Printing – Part 2: TG-DTG, DSC and DRIFT investigations

    Get PDF
A series of structural and thermal analysis research (TG-DTG, DSC, DRIFT) were performed for the samples of polylactide (PLA), which is commonly used in additive technologies as a structural material. In total four materials were considered, including two containing dyes with different colors, a material made of PLA recyclate and a graphene-modified PLA material. It was noted that PLA material reinforced with graphene phase (GRAFYLON®) retains the best thermal properties (TG-DTG), which results in wider possibilities of its processing, including further modification and usability in manufacturing vehicle structural elements. Recycled PLA material (ALFA+W) was characterized by a higher melting point (Tp) by more than 20oC than other samples (DSC analysis), so it can be more useful in the production of structural elements operating, as well as used at elevated temperatures

STEREOTYPES AND PERCEPTIONS IN SOCIETY OF THE ELDERLY AS A SYMPTOM OF CULTURAL DIFFERENCES IN EUROPEAN, ASIAN AND AMERICAN COUNTRIES

At the turn of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, there were significant changes in the age structure of society, although they show different intensity in different regions of the world. The effects of the global aging of the population and its regional diversification imply new phenomena and problems, not only demographic, but most of all economic, political, cultural, mental and social [Abramski, 2017]. The cult of youth is promoted in aging societies, in which a larger group of people 50+ participates, and the dominance of values characteristic of this period is becoming more and more a source of stereotypes and discrimination against the elderly [Mizińska, 2008]. The differences in the perception of people aged 50+ result from the different cultures prevailing in these countries. The aim of the work is to systematize knowledge about the stereotype of a mature and elderly person and to show cultural differences in the perception of older people in European, Asian and American countries. At the turn of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, there were significant changes in the age structure of society, although they show different intensity in different regions of the world.
