Zeitungs-Index. Verzeichnis wichtiger Aufsaetze aus deutschsprachigen Zeitungen 1982 - 1987

The ZEITUNGS-INDEX (Newspaper-Index) provides access to the contents of 19 national daily or weekly newspapers from 1974 onwards. Including the accompanying book review supplement, the work compiles approximately 60,000 articles in quarterly issues, together with a catchwork/subject heading index or title alphabet. An annual index provides access to the contents by author and geographical terms as well as according to classification system. In addition to the printed edition the essays are retrievable from a CIS database. The ZEITUNGS-INDEX, as a source of journalistic material from many different disciplines, is a unique work of both national and international significance. (orig.)Im ZEITUNGS-INDEX werden seit 1974 19 ueberregionale Tages- und Wochenzeitungen erschlossen. Pro Jahrgang werden dabei einschliesslich des Beiheftes 'Buchrezenzionen' ca. 60.000 Artikel in 4 Quartalsheften nachgewiesen und in einem Stich/Schlagwort-Alphabet bzw. nach Buchtiteln aufgelistet. Ein Jahresregister erschliesst den Inhalt nach Verfassern, geographischen Begriffen sowie in 30 Systemgruppen. Neben der gedruckten Ausgabe sind die Aufsaetze aus einer CIS-Datenbank abrufbar. Der ZEITUNGS-INDEX nimmt mit der interdisziplinaeren Erschliessung der Mediengattung Zeitung sowohl national wie auch international eine absolut einmalige Stellung ein.
