    Adequacy Of The Basic Handball Techniques Training

    The basic handball technique training for beginners must be in accordance with the physical condition of the player. The intensity and frequency of the exercises are determined precisely so that the exercises are effective and efficient. This research focuses on appropriate training programs so that optimal training results. The target of this research is in the form of training instruments / training programs and research results are published in reputable international journals. The research method used is research and development. The product developed in this research and development refers to the training program that is expected to be a reference in the implementation of basic handball technical training for beginners. From the results of the study, the training program for handball games has a validity of 0.87 so that it can be concluded that the training program for the adequacy of the basic handball technique is effectively used for the beginner athlete training program. Besides that, the training program for the adequacy of basic handball techniques is very much in accordance with the characteristics, growth, development of learners and beginner athletes and is able to make students easier to learn the basic techniques of handball games. The results of the measurement exercise, passing exercises performed 126 times, dribbling exercises performed 238 times, and shooting exercises were carried out 125 times

    Strategies to Improve Children's Motor Skills with Special Needs Through Circuit Method Based Inclusion Education

    Circuit based inclusion  education  is the  learning of  motion activities through the  circuit method which is divided into several posts  to  improve motor skills according to the characteristics of  children with needs special.  The population and samples in this study were students at the Sukoharjo state extraordinary school totaling 30 people, sampling technique using purposive sampling. The data collection technique using tests and measurements of motor ability k consists of a 20-meter running test, hand eye coordination, agility, and explosive power of the leg muscles. The t-test used in data analysis with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of this study show that the teacher's strategy in improving the motor skills of children with special needs consists of teachers as companions, mediators, motivators and artists.   Thus, it can be concluded that circuit-based inclusion education can improve the motor skills of children with special needs.  However, it is necessary to conduct further research by considering social environmental factors, psychosocial, physical components, and those related to improving the motor abilities of children with special needs

    Quality Of Physical Condition Of Youth Pencak Silat Athletes Reviewed From Speed, Power, and Strength

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the physical quality of youth pencak silat athletes in terms of speed, power and strength. The sample of this study was athletes Pencak silat category of young male and female numbered 40 people consisting of 20 male and 20 female. Sampling techniques use purposive samples because it considers the characteristics of age and gender. The quasi-experimental method with the quantitative approach used in this research, The constellation of this research is pretest-posttest one group design. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive analysis aims to describe the characteristics of this research while inferential analysis using paired one sample test at a significant level ?= 0.05, overall data analysis used is SPSS program version 20.0. The results of this study showed that the quality of physical condition of athletes in the youth competition category is reviewed from speed, power, and strength in the good category. However, in this study, the need to further identify anthropometrics, and psychology athletes to determine the achievements of adolescent martial arts match categories according to gender characteristics

    Kelompok senam lanjut usia (lansia) Sehat Bugar Ceria di Kabupaten Karanganyar telah rutin mengadakan kegiatan senam. Namun, jenis latihan yang dilakukan lebih sering berupa latihan kebugaran aerobik. Jenis latihan yang belum bervariasi dan belum adanya pengetahuan tentang jenis olahraga permainan yang dapat dilakukan oleh lansia menjadi masalah yang dihadapi. Salah satu jenis olahraga yang aman dan menyehatkan untuk lansia adalah Petanque. Olahraga ini relatif baru di Indonesia. Olahraga ini merupakan jenis olahraga rekreasi dan kesehatan. Sesuai dengan rekomendasi dari badan kesehatan dunia dan Kementerian Kesehatan Indonesia bahwa olahraga atau aktivitas fisik sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran dan daya ingat. Kebugaran fisik merupakan salah satu indikator kesehatan dan prediksi morbiditas dan mortalitas. Oleh karena itu olahraga Petanque yang berpengaruh terhadap kebugaran aerobik dan dapat melatih kekuatan, fokus, serta daya ingat perlu dikenalkan kepada kelompok lansia. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode service learning yang terdiri dari tahap edukasi materi dan praktek keterampilan. Hasil pelatihan ini didapatkan pengetahuan kelompok lansia tentang teknik dasar dan peraturan cabang olahraga Petanque meningkat (p=0,004) dan para lansia mampu melakukan gerakan teknik dasar sesuai dengan kelompok usi
