    We study the stochastic Leray-{\alpha} model of Euler equations with transport noise. We first use weak convergence approach to show the large deviations of the stochastic Leray-{\alpha} model of Euler equations in a suitable scaling limit. Then, we establish the quantitative convergence rate by semigroup approach. Moreover, we obtain a central limit theorem with strong convergence and get the explicit rate.Comment: 31page

    Challenging Job Demands and Performance: The Role of Learning Orientation

    Drawing on the job demand-control and job demand-resource models, this study examines the curvilinear relation between challenge job demand and performance outcomes (task and creative performance) as well as the moderating effect of employee learning orientation on such relationships. Data were obtained from 216 employees and 47 supervisors of service firms in China. Results showed that employee learning orientation moderates the inverted U-shaped relation between challenge job demand and task performance and creativity, such that the curvilinear effect is stronger for employees with high learning orientation, but no effect was observed with low learning orientation. Theoretical and practical implications are provided

    Sympathy or distress? The moderating role of negative emotion differentiation in helping behavior

    Past research has documented the many psychological and behavioral benefits of negative emotion differentiation, that is, the degree to which one can identify, distinguish, and describe specific negative feeling states. Drawing on Affective Events Theory, we argue that negative emotion differentiation affects how individuals react to a need-laden affective event (i.e., being in a situation where one is asked for some assistance). Specifically, we posit that individuals high in negative emotion differentiation will be more adept at interpreting their negative emotions as arising from others\u27 needs (i.e., moral emotions) and regulating them through helping behavior. We tested this basic premise in two studies conducted in East Asia – a field study involving working adults in a general work setting and a quasi-experiment involving a student sample. In both studies, we examined the role of negative emotion differentiation in how individuals respond to negative emotions facing a need-laden affective event. The results supported our predictions, as high negative emotion differentiation weakened the negative relationship between general negative emotions and subsequent helping behavior (Study 1) and strengthened the positive relationship between negative moral emotions and helping behavior (Study 2).     Glycyrrhizin could reduce ocular hypertension induced by triamcinolone acetonide in rabbits

    Purpose: To evaluate the hypotensive effects of glycyrrhizin (GL) on a rabbit model of ocular hypertension (OH) induced by triamcinolone acetonide (TA). Methods: Forty New Zealand White Rabbits were divided as follows: control (intravitreal injection of sterile saline solution); GL (intravitreal injection of sterile saline solution, then fed with 25mg GL/day); TA (intravitreal TA injection); TA+GL (intravitreal TA injection, then fed with GL) and GL+TA (pre-treated with GL for 3 days, then got TA injection and the following GL treatment). Intraocular pressure (IOP), flash electroretinogram (flash ERG) and flash visual evoked potential (flash VEP) were measured during the follow-up (28 days). The aqueous humor was analyzed, using (1)H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and principal components analysis (PCA). Results: IOP elevation was observed in the TA group during the follow-up, compared to the controls (p<0.01). The IOP was decreased in the TA+GL group and the GL+TA group, compared to the TA group (p<0.05). Both in flash ERG and VEP, the amplitudes were decreased, and the implicit time was prolonged in the TA group, compared to the controls (p<0.05); and the parameters were improved after intervention of GL, compared to the TA group (p<0.05). PCA results indicated that TA could affect ocular metabolism (especially the sugar metabolism), and GL could inhibit it. Conclusions: The administration of GL could suppress OH induced by TA in rabbits, and improve their electrophysiological parameters. Metabolomics is a useful tool in ophthalmology research.     Genetic inter-relationships among Chinese wild grapes based on SRAP marker analyses

    Sequence-Related Amplified Polymorphism (SRAP) markers were used to assess genetic inter-relationships among 39 grape genotypes. These included 22 indigenous Chinese grape species/varieties, the north American V. riparia and the European V. vinifera L. 'Thompson seedless' and 'Pinot noir'. Of the 72 SRAP primer combinations tested, 25 primers generated 135 reliable bands, with an average of 5.52 bands per primer pair. Further analysis shows that 106 of 135 bands were generated by 25 polymorphic primer pairs, with a polymorphism efficiency of 79 %. The similarity coefficients of SRAP polymorphism varied from 0.463 to 0.981 among the genotypes analysed. A dendrogram analysis divided the 39 Vitis accessions into 21 groups with similarity coefficients of 0.83. It reveals broadly similar genetic relationships among the genotypes examined to those previously determined using classical taxonomic methods. Our results define V. heyneana subsp. ficifolia and V. baihensis as subspecies of V. heyneana and V. bashanica, respectively. We question the placement of V. davidii var. cyanocarpa and V. davidii var. ningqiangensis as varieties in V. davidii

    Generator Identification for Linear SDEs with Additive and Multiplicative Noise

    In this paper, we present conditions for identifying the generator of a linear stochastic differential equation (SDE) from the distribution of its solution process with a given fixed initial state. These identifiability conditions are crucial in causal inference using linear SDEs as they enable the identification of the post-intervention distributions from its observational distribution. Specifically, we derive a sufficient and necessary condition for identifying the generator of linear SDEs with additive noise, as well as a sufficient condition for identifying the generator of linear SDEs with multiplicative noise. We show that the conditions derived for both types of SDEs are generic. Moreover, we offer geometric interpretations of the derived identifiability conditions to enhance their understanding. To validate our theoretical results, we perform a series of simulations, which support and substantiate the established findings

    Being a Parent Together: Parental Role Salience Promotes an Interdependent Self-Construal

    Self-construal has been shown to be exert consequential influences on thinking and doing. Although how people construe themselves is often deemed as a chronic and stable individual difference, relatively little is known about the factors that could potentially shape the extent to which individuals form an independent-self or an interdependent-self. In the current work, we try to explore whether and how the salience of parental roles would affect self-construal. Given that an interdependent self-construal helps individuals maintain connectedness and harmony with others in a group, which is adaptive for being a parent, we propose that parental roles tend to increase the perceived connection with others, thus leading to an interdependent self-construal. Findings from three studies consistently show that a salient parental role promotes an interdependent self-construal. Moreover, we observe that parents’ role salience only prompts an interdependent self-construal in relation to other people without increasing the connection with one’s future self. Theoretical and practical implications of our findings are discussed

    Highly sensitive magnetic properties and large linear magnetoresistance in antiferromagnetic CrxSe(0.875\lex\le1)single crystals

    CrxSe (x\le1) is a class of quasi-layered binary compounds with potential applications in spintronics due to its intriguing antiferromagnetic properties. In this work, CrxSe single crystals with high Cr content (x=0.87, 0.91 and 0.95) were grown, and their magnetic and transport properties were investigated in detail. It is found that with small increase of Cr content, the N\'eel temperature (TN) of the samples can dramatically increase from 147 K to 257 K, accompanied with obvious changes in the magnetic anisotropy and hysteresis. The phenomena of field-induced spin-flop transitions were unveiled in these alloys, indicating their comparatively low anisotropy. The magnetoresistance (MR) of the three compounds showed positive dependence at low temperatures and particularly, non-saturated linear positive MR was observed in Cr0.91Se and Cr0.95Se, with a large value of 16.2% achieved in Cr0.91Se (10K, 9T). The calculated Fermi surface and MR showed that the quasi-linear MR is a product of carrier compensation. Our work revealed highly sensitive magnetic and transport properties in the Cr-Se compounds, which can lay foundation when constructing further antiferromagnetic spintronic devices based on them

    A Pharmacokinetic and Metabolism Study of the TRPC6 Inhibitor SH045 in Mice by LC-MS/MS

    TRPC6, the sixth member of the family of canonical transient receptor potential (TRP) channels, contributes to a variety of physiological processes and human pathologies. This study extends the knowledge on the newly developed TRPC6 blocker SH045 with respect to its main target organs beyond the description of plasma kinetics. According to the plasma concentration-time course in mice, SH045 is measurable up to 24 h after administration of 20 mg/kg BW (i.v.) and up to 6 h orally. The short plasma half-life and rather low oral bioavailability are contrasted by its reported high potency. Dosage limits were not worked out, but absence of safety concerns for 20 mg/kg BW supports further dose exploration. The disposition of SH045 is described. In particular, a high extravascular distribution, most prominent in lung, and a considerable renal elimination of SH045 were observed. SH045 is a substrate of CYP3A4 and CYP2A6. Hydroxylated and glucuronidated metabolites were identified under optimized LC-MS/MS conditions. The results guide a reasonable selection of dose and application route of SH045 for target-directed preclinical studies in vivo with one of the rare high potent and subtype-selective TRPC6 inhibitors availabl
