    Predmet doktorske disertacije je razvoj originalne metodologije za procenu rizika u radu sa opremom pod pritiskom, bazirane na mehanici loma i uticaju ljudskih i organizacionih faktora. Novopredložena metodologija zasnovana na sistematizaciji postojećih znanja iz oblasti procesne bezbednosti, inoviranja i integracije postojećih alata i modela za procenu rizika, kao i unapređenja oblasti mehanike loma i rada sa opremom pod pritiskom generalno, rešava glavne nedostatke u predmetnim oblastima, uz odlike jednostavnosti i prilagođavanja primeni u praksi, kao i problem nedostatka sistematičnog i praktičnog pristupa oceni uticaja ljudskih i organizacionih faktora na rizik...The goal of this doctoral dissertation is establishing of an the original methodology for risk assessment of the pressure equipment, based on fracture mechanics, and influence of human and organisational factors. The methodology was based on systemisation of existing knowledge in the fields of process safety, inovation of existing tools and models for risk assessment, improvement of general pressure equipment exploitation and fracture mechanics, and solving the main disadvantages present in these areas, their simplification and adapting to practical application, with an emphasis on solving the issues related to a lack of a systematic and practical approach to determine influence of the human and organisational factors..

    Fulfilling the requirements for export of metal industry products from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina cross-border area to EU market

    Izvoz na tržište Evropske unije podrazumeva slobodan protok ljudi, proizvoda i usluga kao i širok spektar mogućnosti za preduzeća, ali takodje uključuje i niz poteškoća i zahteva koji se u tom cilju moraju ispuniti. Kako je izvoz u EU izazov za preduzeća metalske industrije u Srbiji i Bosni i Hercegovini, u ovo istraživanje je uključeno 20 malih i srednjih preduzeća iz prekogranične oblasti - Sarajevskog i Zlatiborskog okruga, tradicionalno orijentisanih ka izvozu, kako bi se poboljšale aktivnosti vezane za ispunjenje zahteva za izvoz proizvoda metalske industrije iz datih oblasti. Analizirane su statistički značajne razlike uticajnih parametara na ispunjenje zahteva za izvoz proizvoda metalske industrije u prekograničnoj oblasti Srbije i BIH na tržište EU, finansijsko stanje i ulaganje u obuku zaposlenih, primena Direktiva novog pristupa, posedovanje standarda sistema menadžmenta i dr. Rezultati analiza su pokazali da najveći problem u obe regije predstavljaju finansijska sredstva za ispunjenje formalnih zahteva, a izvozna barijera sa najvišom vrednošću u obe regije je nedostatak državne pomoći i podsticaja. Shodno sprovedenom emprijskom istraživanju u radu su date preporuke preduzećima metalske industrije obe regije. Istraživanje ispunjenja zahteva za izvoz proizvoda metalske industrije na tržište EU u prekograničnoj oblasti Srbije i BIH pruža mogućnost da se preduzeća iz datih regija povežu i podstaknu da, kroz primenu i razmenu savremenih znanja i veština, evropskih procedura i standarda, podizanje tehnološkog nivoa i zajedničke promotivne nastupe, postanu konkurentnija.Exporting to European Union market includes free exchange of people, goods and services as well as wide range of opportunities for companies, but also includes many difficulties and requirements which need to be fulfilled. As exporting is a difficult challenge for metal industry companies in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, this study included 20 small and medium sized companies from cross-border area - Zlatibor and Sarajevo districts, which have traditionally been export oriented, in order to improve activities regarding fulfilling the requirements for export of metal industry products from given regions. Analyses were conducted on statistically significant differences between influential parameters on fulfilling the requirements for export of metal industry products in cross border area of Serbia and BIH to EU market, financial standings and investment in the employee development, implementation of New Approach directives, implementation of management system standards and other. It was found that the largest issue in both Sarajevo and Zlatibor district are financial resources for fulfilling the requirements, while most influential obstacle is lack of government support and incentives. Recommendations are given to metal industry companies in both districts, based on the conducted empirical research. The research on fulfilling requirements for export of metal industry products to the EU market in the cross-border area of Serbia and BIH gives opportunity for companies in those areas to be connected and motivated to become more competitive, by using and exchanging modern knowledge and skills, European procedures and standards, raising the technological level and mutual promotional appearances

    ANALYSIS OF TOURIST MOTIFS IN THE FUNCTION OF DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL TOURISM IN THE SETTLEMENTS SURROUNDED BY PROTECTED NATURAL RESOURCES

    The paper deals with the presence of anthropogenic tourist motifs in the area of the Special Nature Reserve “Carska bara” in the north of Serbia with the following rural settlements taken into consideration: Belo Blato, Ečka, Knićanin, Lukino Selo, Perlez and Stajićevo. The presence of cultural heritage from a group of archaeological sites, works of monumental and artistic features, spatial cultural and historical units, famous places and memorials, folklore heritage, religion and beliefs, language and manifestation values has been recorded in the studied area. The area is well connected with the city centers of this part of Serbia and for the current level of tourism development, it has a satisfactory number of accommodation capacities. After analyzing literature and local cultural offer, it is concluded that for the purpose of attracting more tourists, cultural, that is anthropogenic tourist motifs must be united in the offer with the natural phenomenon Carska bara and its near environment. Together, they can lead to the development of an increasingly popular type of cultural tourism — creative tourism, enchanting tourists the life of the local population, their culture and customs

    Cilj ovog rada je primena metode zasnovane na viševarijantnoj statističkoj tehnici u cilju određivanja kritičnih dimenzija kabine krana, sa maksimalnom ergonomskom prilagođenošću radi smeštaja što šireg opsega populacije i veće bezbednosti rada. Korišćena je viševarijantna tehnika - faktorska analiza. Rezultati ovog istraživanja sprovedenog na uzorku 83 operatora pokazuju da se faktorskom analizom veći broj faktora raspoređuje u trodimenzionalnom prostoru. Rezultati ovog rada omogućavaju projektantima rešavanje dilema, a zahvaljujući rezultatima ovog rada mogu se projektovati kabine krana sa manje stresnim položajem operatera i povećanom produktivnosti i bezbednosti.Purpose of this paper is application of method based on multivariate statistical technique in order to determine critical dimensions of the crane cabin, which would maximize adjustability and ergonomics of the product, resulting in accommodation of wider range of the population and greater safety while operating. Multivariate statistical technique used for this purpose is factor analysis. Results of this research, conducted on a sample consisted of 83 crane cabin operators, showed that while designing a working space critical anthropomeasures take three-dimensional space, while their influence contributions in each dimension are determined with factor analysis. Results of this work are expected to be useful for industry in a way such that crane cabins' designers can troubleshoot the dilemmas they encounter in their job. Using findings of this survey might lead to new designs of cabins that will offer less strenuous postures of operator, which consequently will improve productivity and safety

    Risk Based Approach to Integrity Assessment of a Large Spherical Pressure Vessel

    The risk based approach has been applied, in its simplest form, i.e. by using the risk matrix to illustrate how the water proof test can shift risk from high to very high level in the case of large spherical pressure vessel (ammonia storage tank). Having in mind the basic definition of risk, being the product of the probability and consequence, and fixing the consequence at the highest level, only probability of unfavourable event (leakage and/or failure) has been evaluated. Toward this end, the failure assessment diagram (FAD) has been used here as another simple engineering tool to estimate probability of the failure, as the function of the position of the operating point, i.e. defming probability as the ratio between the distance of the operating point from the zero point, and the appropriate distance between the point on the limiting curve and zero point. This simple engineering tool to assess structural integrity showed clearly that water proof test is not always recommended, because it disregards possible stable growth of cracks, which might reach critical size for unstable growth, i.e. it does not prove that failure will not happen in future under the same conditions.     Bosnia and Herzegovina's metalworking industry companies barriers to export to EU market

    Export of products and services on EU market can bring great benefits, but also sets requirements to companies which are not easy to meet. Metal processing industry today is the main exporter in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH). However value of import significantly exceeds value of the export. Therefore, there is a need to increase export to EU market. The aim of this paper is an empirical examination of the export possibilities to EU market, conducted on a sample of 24 metal complex companies in BIH. Obtained results indicate that adequate marketing strategy is a minor influential factor for export to EU market. Also the research shows that a significant number of companies is not familiar with new approach directives, as well as with procedures for conformity assessment. Most of the surveyed companies have an opinion that there is not enough number of adequate laboratories and institutions for export assistance. Also, the lack of capital for export financing in the companies as export barrier is significant. This topic should be further researched, as it is very important for companies' growth and development in BIH
