The influence of thermoplastic reinforcement tape location on seam performance
The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of thermoplastic stitched reinforced tape location in the seam, on seam slippage, seam strength and seam efficiency. Seam samples without reinforcement and reinforced with fused tape were prepared. All the samples were prepared with 1.2 cm seam allowance. Samples reinforced with fusible tapes were produced using three positions of fixing fusible tape. The obtained results have shown that, with insertion of the thermoplastic stitched reinforced tape in seam structure, generally seam strength and efficiency are increased, while seam slippage decreased. In all investigated cases it was found that the difference in reinforced tape position in the seam, influences seams performance.

Sustainability of the textile waste stream in Macedonia,
In Macedonia, as a country with a developed apparel industry, a significant amount of pre-consumer textile waste is generated, more precisely apparel cutting waste. The aim of this paper is to make an accurate estimate of its quantity, as well as the characterization based on the raw material composition as a prerequisite for its further handling. Before any recycling initiative for textile waste, an analysis should be made of whether its quantity and quality can ensure the continuity of the recycling process. The analysis shows that the amount of apparel cutting waste is a fairly constant value (in the period from 2009 to 2014 an average of 3,377 tons of apparel cutting waste was generated annually). The waste from cotton and cotton blends is most common. Despite the constant annual amount of apparel cutting waste and numerous reasons for its recycling, almost all this waste ends in landfills

Application of statistical process control in the production of women's blouse
Quality assurance in production processes is not related only to the peopleβs work, but also to the continuous technological advancement, as well as the application of methods and techniques to manage and assess the stability and capability of the production processes. To achieve success and sustainability of the process quality, managers must choose a methodology supported by different quality methods and techniques. The applications of statistical process control is one of the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. The essence of statistical process control is to ensure stable and predictable production process. In this paper, statistical control was applied in a production process of womenβs blouse. Three methods were used: check list, Pareto diagram and Ishikawa diagram. A checklist is a method used to record and analyze the defects that occur in a production process of women's blouse. This tool was used to systematize problems starting from the most important cases. The Pareto Chart is an auxiliary tool used to select the target and determine where to intervene first. The Ishikawa diagram provides an analysis of the causes that lead to the defect and the most important stage of this diagram is to define the problem correctly. The results obtained from quality control in the production process of womenβs blouses have shown that, seam puckering in the area of neckline and armhole are the defects that have the highest percentage in total number of defects. In order to eliminate the cause of occurrence of these defects, a change in the technological operation plan was made and according to it the new specimens were sewn to determine whether the seam pucker in neckline and armhole area would be eliminated.

Fashion in Spain as an inspiration for design and construction of contemporary children's clothing
Fashion represents a kind of unique visual art, which centuries ago left a
special mark in the history of every country, and in this case, especially in Spain. Each
period in the history of clothing is special in its design, the material used and the
abundance of colors that were striking at that time. Each period also represents a
special inspiration for fashion designers today. In this paper two designs that are
inspired by different periods of children's fashion, or rather, girls' fashion in Spain are
shown. Designs will be shown part by part in the purposeful creation itself from idea to
their realization. The materials and colors that are used will also represent a review of
the period from which the designs were inspired.

QUANTITATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF RABBIT HYBRIDS
As a material for this research we used hybrids of crossed individuals of the so-called Flemish giant rabbit and New Zealand white rabbits (group ON), who fed ad libitum with industrially pelleted food. The study included six rabbits, three male and three female. The defined live weight of 1800 to 2500 g of the rabbits was achieved in 77 days, after which the rabbits were slaughtered. The paper presents the results of the research on fattening and slaughtering properties, as well as determining the utilization of rabbit meat. The average live weight of male rabbits was 2792 g, and randman was 47.92%, while for female rabbits the average live weight was 2695 g and randman was 48.61%. The average share of the back of the carcass in male/female rabbits was 28.02% and 27.34%, on the dorsal part was 20.93% and 22.65%, while on the front of the carcass was 25.26% and 25.39%
The develompment of textile industry in Shtip
The city of Shtip is the main garment production center in the Eastern part of the Republic of North Macedonia. The textile industry participates with 70% in the total achievements of the industry in the Municipality. There are over 60 companies for production of clothes in Shtip, and among their most important partners are Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. Most of the clothing companies are organized as small or medium enterprises for production of casual clothes such as shirts, blouses, etc., which operate on the basis of the "LON" production system.
