Hubungan Leadership Competency Dan Leadership Wisdom Terhadap Trust Pada Tenaga Pendidik Dan Kependidikan P4tk Matematika YOGYAKARTA

The current research is intended to (1) to find out the correlation between leadership competency of the leader and the trust of the staffs, (2) to find out the correlation between wisdom of the leader and the trust of the staffs, (3) to find out the correlation among leadership competency, wisdom and trust of the teaching staffs and administration staffs at P4TK Matematika Yogyakarta Ditjen PMPTK Depdiknas. The design of the research is model testing. The population is 100 people who are selected by using purposive sampling. The data are collected using leadership competency, leadership wisdom, and trust scales. The data are analyzed by using structural equation model (SEM) using Amos version 16. The findings reveal that (1) there is a correlation between leadership competency of the leader and trust of the staffs (γ= 0,651, dan ρ= 0,000), (2) there is a correlation between wisdom of the leader and the trust of the staffs (γ= 0,430, dan ρ= 0,000); (3) there is no correlation between leadership competency and leadership wisdom, (4) the correlation between leadership and trust of the staffs is stronger than the correlation between leadership and wisdom, (5) in group, leadership competency is correlated to trust. However, in isolation, leadership has no correlation with trust

Investigation into the Sex Pheromones of Two Species of Flies: Sarcophaga Bullata and Musca Domestica

Attempts to find effective, environmentally safe methods to control insect infestations have been met with limited success. Pheromonal control has received considerable attention in the past decade because of its inherent desirable characteristics. The author spent his senior year searching for the sex pheromones of two different species of flies - the house fly (Musca domestica) and the flesh fly (Sarcophaga bullata). There is strong evidence to identify Hexanal as one of the components of the sex pheromone of the flesh fly (Sarcophaga bullata)

Novas estratégias para melhoramento das propriedades foto e eletroluminescentes de Salicilidenos de Zn(II) e Pt(II)

Orientador: Teresa Dib Zambon AtvarsTese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de QuímicaResumo: Esta tese de doutorado apresenta os principais conceitos da melhoria óptico-eletrônica de OLEDs processados por solução, utilizando derivados de salicilidenos e seus compostos de coordenação de Zn(II) de baixo custo e pouco fluorescentes e de Pt(II) de alta eficiência sintetizados a partir de novos derivados de salicilideno (salofen, 5Cl-py e sal-3,4-ben). Inicialmente, os novos salicilidenos foram sintetizados e caracterizados com sucesso e seus processos ESIPT foram avaliados por técnicas de espectroscopia eletrônica de estado estacionário e resolvidas no tempo. Assim, obtendo geração de luz branca com apenas um emissor. Posteriormente, as propriedades de foto e eletroluminescência de OLEDs processados em solução em compostos de PVK como hospedeiro com derivados de salicilideno e seus compostos de coordenação de Zn (II) como hospedeiros foram estudados em dispositivos contendo apenas camada ativa revestida por spin de etapa única...Observação: O resumo, na íntegra, poderá ser visualizado no texto completo da tese digitalAbstract: This Ph.D. thesis presents the main concepts of the solution-processed OLEDs optical-electronic improvement, using salicylidene derivatives, low-cost and poorly fluorescent Zn(II) and high-efficient Pt(II) coordination compounds synthetized with new salicylidene derivatives (salophen, sal-5Cl-py and sal-3,4-ben). Firstly, the new salicylidene derivatives were successful synthetized and characterized and its ESIPT processes were evaluated by steady-state and time-resolved electronic spectroscopies techniques. Thus, obtaining white-light generation with only one emitter. THE CONTRIBUTION OF ENVIRONMENTAL AMENITIES TO AGRICULTURAL LAND VALUES: HEDONIC MODELLING USING GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS DATA

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data are used in a hedonic model to measure the impact of recreational and scenic amenities on agricultural land values. Results indicate agricultural land values are determined by environmental amenities as well as production attributes.
