Phosphorus-based chromophores: Emitters for OLEDs

International audienceIn this paper, we present the development of white OLEDs (WOLEDs) using organophosphorus derivatives as fluorescent emitters. The structural changes that we have performed on and around the phosphole ring (functionalization of the phosphorus atom, nature of the substituents at the 2 and 5 position) allow the ability to tune the emission wavelengths and the color emitted by the OLEDs. Using this concept, we developed organophosphorus dopants emitting orange light, which can be mixed with a blue emitting matrix for the development of WOLEDs. The OLEDs structure allows the development of flexible OLEDs with good performance and CIE coordinates which are independent from the current density

Nature que Rodin associe à la sincérité du regard porté sur le modèle, plutôt qu'à un réalisme momentané et anecdotique. " (Aurel, 1919). Il laisse donc les modèles évoluer librement, saisissant rapidement les attitudes qui l'intéressent. Il n'y a pas d'interdit pour cet adorateur des femmes : la contemplation de corps féminins qui sont pour lui l'incarnation même de la nature, stimule sa faculté de créer. Toutefois si le sexe tient chez lui une grande place, en dessin, comme en sculpture, Rodin s'élève contre la conviction très répandue que son art était déterminé par la sensualité érotique

Benzofuran-fused Phosphole: Synthesis, Electronic, and Electroluminescence Properties

International audienceA synthetic route to novel benzofuran-fused phosphole derivatives 3-5 is described. These compounds showed optical and electrochemical properties that differ from their benzothiophene analog. Preliminary results show that 4 can be used as an emitter in OLEDs, illustrating the potential of these new compounds for opto-electronic applications
